- We got our hands on the new 14MT Monster Truck and it's one tough little basher! Since it's 1/14 scale, RTR and weighs only 2 pounds, there's not much that can slow down this rc truck. It's one impressive r/c for extreme bashing, wherever you go.

Hackfab makes some carbon fiber for it also the aluminum shock bodies AE offer really do make a big difference I also went with a bigger motor and a bigger esc I also am running the stock 16t pinion and the large spur gear they come with I use a 2445 4700kv motor
Oh and I run 85mm kyosho super sand tires
I remember the buggy from several years ago. Cool to see they are keeping the series alive. (Love the new bench too😁)
I have the Rival MT10 & SC10 They are the most durable RC's I have ever owned. They can out bash my XMAXX which was the basher king until the MT10 took over. I look forward to the MT14, Associated is killing it with these little beasts. I wish I could say the same for the MT8. I hope they go back to R&D and make it as tough as the MT10. It would be awesome! Brett you always up out the best reviews and drive sessions. Thats for all the work you put into them with the Amain team.

My friend has an mt10 and its TERRIBLE for us. He broke the rear arms so easily and yes he did have the rpm front arms and the arms keep popping out of hinge pins. The metal us absolute monkey metal he can bend it back with hands. Also he broke the front diff.
The Rival MT10 is absolutely very tough but it is in NO WAY as tough as the TR MT10E AKA Redcat MT10e. I’ve had every tough RC from Losi to Tekno, Arrma to Mugen and Traxxas and 100% toughest RC I’ve ever owned in my life is the team Magic AKA Redcat MT10E with the servo saver upgrade and center diff. It is WAY tougher than the Rival because the rival will eventually brake at the front bulkhead but the Redcat MT10e won’t break. Too bad after about 6 years it’s been dropped in America.
My buddy got one of these small cars from "hyper go" & that little 1/14 scale car has upper + lower control arms front & rear!! I was impressed with the quality of that little car it just does not have hex hardware which sucks 🤔 only $120 brushless & 4X4

Just got mine from UPS about 2hours ago, tough little sucker but being me and I can not leave good enough alone the new Castle system is going in along with a better servo. Just got to machine the stock pinion to 1/8" bore.
What servo upgrade do you recommend, please?

Mind ever doing a review on the Buggy and Truggy models? Have been looking at those for a while and then I just found out about this one. There aren't a lot of reviews on the B and T models so i would love to see how they compare. Especially from someone who has experience with one.

Relfex 14 line is incredible value. Seems expensive until you realize it's better than most 10th scale cars. Motor fans necessary in hot areas.

I got one Wednesday and its no bigger than my mjx 1/16
but which module runs with a 48p pinion??
48 pitch converted to module would be .5288. For this size, people just call it 48P though.

1/14 scale for a 1/10 price? yeah, i see the business model/scheme. Before you know it 1/10 scale RC's will average 400.00, they are reaching for it by offering these puny RC's.
What a over priced piece of junk. You drove it like a girl you should make a video that show it actually being put through some real abuse. I assume that would be a short video!
Too funny. In case you haven't searched for other videos of this truck by now, there are vids out there that put this truck through a lot and it holds up pretty impressively.
