The portafilter is dripping for a long time after the shot has finished. This indicates the puck is a soggy soup inside the basket. Have you tried changing the shower head to the larger sized one? This replaces the tiny shower head that comes with the machine that was really designed to be used for pods.

I recently discovered a FF X1 machine here in the US. I dont know what generation it is. It has the E.S.E. Marking below the power switch. That’s all I really know about it so far. I’m on the hunt for a power cord. It also has the child’s face on the temp gauge, and on the handle that was with it. Great video by the way!!!

I have one that was in storage for a while. Temperature controlled, in its original box. First time in years I tried to use it, the frothing arm works fine but the espresso won't dispense and it makes a loud "clacking" noise. Any suggestions?

I have a FrancisFrancis! X1 1935 Anniversary Iperespresso (capsule) machine that makes beautiful espresso, but can barely make enough steam to froth milk. The gauge needle goes halfway to the steam icon and I have to cycle it twice to get a hot pitcher of milk. Any idea what the problem is? Pump or Thermostat?
