"You're Legolas, not Bugs Bunny." Austin, you have a party full of Loonies Brains, and Thespians. Bugs is inevitable.
2:47:47 I want that full fan song on my desk by Monday!
It just occurred to me that the cost of the Hat of Disguise should probably be paid back to the name it was charged under before too long of a time skip comes and goes, so that _somebody_ doesn’t end up getting sued later. Either that or straight up fined for false usage of names and funds of a third party. And impersonation.
When it turns out that Ingrid has traps and trap doors, hidden passageways behind framed posters of herself, and an arsenal of particularly violent home defense tools, I am SO here for the Tactical Hostage Rescue That Invades Ingrid's Space WAY TOO MUCH.
I wasn’t expecting a fucking HEATHERS reference from Noir, but I AM pleased.
Only on this podcast can a player say "I wanna put him in a jar", and nobody bats an eye.
Another amazing episode! The solo combat at the start really made me nervous!
I’m only halfway through the episode so far on Apple, and I just want to say, boy, I sure wish they had someone among them or an acquaintance in their contacts that could provide their skills to cast Identify on the enchanted coin.
Can’t wait to find out later in the episode whether the coin actually is enchanted to be tracked or has some other purpose. My guess based on how inconspicuous it is that it is indeed meant for tracking. Even if it’s not actively sending any kind of signal, maybe the Knights of the Post have someone who can cast Locate Object.
On a side note, someone being surprised that our resident socialite won a round she wasn’t supposed to when there has been plenty of precedent for it sounds suspicious in and of itself. I wonder if that surprised person among the crowd was the one who hired the Knights to kill her. If the inconspicuous coin was something important meant for another person who was supposed to win that round, it’d make a little sense that they’d try to get it back.
I’m just spewing unfounded speculation at this point, time to get back to the episode.
Just saw Starkid last night and lo there was a new RwD episode the next day???? Bless 🙏 Seeing people do what they want to do and make what they want to make is incredibly inspiring for us who can't or can't yet. Keep leading the way 🫡
This is my favourite part of Fridays! I'm looking forward to it every week❤
I've loved this new campaign so far. So different, at it's core and at its strengths too. Curious to see down what alleys it will lead us
2:49:40 And here's a Ziggy timestamp for you, just because 😌
Soft foam balls for dodgeball? My school only ever played with those red rubber balls used for kickball
Was going to say the same thing
1:39:20 I get wanting to keep each of the PCs occupied, but I'm hoping that as this campaign goes on they'll experiment more with splitting up the party and having them face more individual challenges and situations. It feels appropriate what with the intrigue/noir style, and Oob's mini escort mission at the beginning of this episode feels like a great example of how switching up the dynamic can be really fun.
Ingrid nooo, why are you disguising yourself and making yourself a target, you’re so squishy.
Squishy in a different way from a plasmoid. From what I remember, the biologically squishy guy has enough HP to actually take some hits.
Actually, Red probably could reach the smoke guy 10 ft in the air. A running high jump is 3+strength mod, and to see how high you can reach by raising your hands up mid jump you add your height times 1.5.
Bileyg has a +2 strength, so that's a 5 ft jump. Unless he's below 3 ft 4 inches, he reaches the guy without even including the length of his weapon in the calculations
Real quick, I’m pretty sure Gnomeo and Juliet was a bad attempt at an animated parody featuring garden gnomes and crass humor, several years back. Wish it was better. It’s not. XD
You're correct, though I think it somehow got a sequel? Or like a spin-off?
Any chance of a Vhas slogan shirt?
Is the hat design a Professor Layton reference?
First?
