- First two days and 800 miles went SMOOTH, but THEN it started throwing random codes and went into limp mode; on a SATURDAY when everyone is closed.
Got an awesome friend who lives in Durango, Colorado who came to the rescue - trailered me to his cabin and summoned a mobile mechanic who determined it was a wiring issue.
The local dealership was closed until Tuesday, so I called Nick Bruce at Adrenaline Motorsports in Casa Grande, Arizona - he said if I'd get it there, he'd have his guys on it ASAP.
Trailered it ALL night long; got it there when they opened on Monday morning; Adrenaline's mechanic had it diagnosed two hours later - nicks/wear in the rear wiring harness.
Picking up tomorrow afternoon; going to trailer it back to Colorado, and pick up where we left off.
Hopefully your back on the road again and DD’s car got fixed ok
It's amazing what your doing👍 what GPS do you use?
I’m using. GAIA GPS and Jeremiah is using LeadNav - both are apps on our iPads.
Sweet. Post up the route. AZ Road legal, did you have any issues out of state being hassled?
No problems with the law YET, but we’re not out of Colorado YET.
@@alroden6802 oh ok, thought you were already done and uploading footage. Good luck!
I broke down on Saturday morning, Joshua - had to order and replace my wiring harness, which took until yesterday (Wednesday) to get and get installed.
It seems to be running good today (Thursday) so we’re going to get going again.
If nothing else breaks, we SHOULD be getting into Oklahoma sometime on Friday.
Colorado Trooper in Salida said “Park it or lose it” - trailered it to the border and so far Oklahoma and Arkansas have been trouble-free 🤠
Hopefully your back on the road again and DD’s car got fixed ok
Back on the trail again - it was the wiring harness; 22,000 miles finally rubbed through.
Replaced the harness and we’re back at it - through Oklahoma and almost through Arkansas; Mississippi is tomorrow.
