Thanks Mike. Just wanted to ask if there are settings to stop buffering and lag when streaming content. I have a 20mbps fibre connection and my TX3 mini has 1GB available RAM (1GB in use), but it still stops and starts quite badly. Any ideas? Do you think a factory reboot and reinstall would be an option?
worth a try, heat might be an issue, and also this is a quite low power box so sometimes it will struggle at higher resolutions

if it isn't turning on at all that is probably either PSU or internal failure, but outside of my area of expertise sorry

you mean it doesn't do a factory reset? if it boots up normally use the factory reset option in the menu

Hello Mike ! Wonder can y help me ? Mine tv box cant even to reset.... it is x96 max . One day the blue screen on front of the box just stoped to glow and from that moment i cant torn on it ! was trying to reset it but it wont do it ! Is it completly dead ? ( power cable works , see red light torning on when the dc cble plug in. )
try the USB recovery method listed in the playlist, you will need to find your own recovery files though sorry
We have had the Tinox Box for a few months now, but the guy who installed it for us is angry with us and stop the box from working. Can we fix it with this Video also?

Try another psu or try testing the psu to see if it is getting power
I have an ABOX 1A plus that I picked up at a yard sale and it was working fine until just the other day when if would start up as usual but then sticks and cannot move to anything to open any apps. it does have a button on the bottom but I tried this trick and still the same. Should I give it up?

i have a Vontar tx92 7.1 -3GB of ram tv box which is the same as you show in the video. my tv box have a problem it stays on boot for a long time and i followed your instructions for a full reset recovery Wipe data/factory reset.
after i did the first step it took around 40 minutes waiting and after that came up with some text like.
E:failed to mount /cache (invalid argument)
E:Can't mount / cache / recovery/ log
E:Can't open/ cache / recovery/ log
E:Can't mount / cache / recovery/ last log
E:Can't open/ cache / recovery/ last log
E:Can't open/ cache / recovery/last install data wipe complete
etc. etc.
after i went to the second step Reeboot system now and after this it stays on boot for ever now i even can't open anymore the tv box. please can you help me with any advice i will be greatful...

My TX3 Mini gives "Unable to open link" message. Will a factory reset help ? Do you have to reinstall all the programs after a factory reset?
maybe it will help, probably a better option to try an upgrade to the latest Android version first

I have a Cubetek 4k android box. Once during the hard reset, the power
cut was interrupted due to which it was not fully reset. Then when the
power is turned on, only the Android box logo is visible.

You may have to find the shorting pins on the ROM itself. I'm not clued up on your particular TV box so can't tell you which pins you need to short. Do you know what chipset your box uses?

have done the reset, but it wont load and go to recovery, yet if I unplug the box and plug it in the logo loads then it just goes to a black screen and the box just says boot. any ideas?
you might need to recover the drive and firmware using the USB cable method shown in the links
@@mikesunboxing Thanks, only problem is my work laptop won't allow me to install firmware or drivers, don't really want to invest in a new laptop for myself at the moment, might be cheaper to just get a new box and at sometime lter fix it.
I just bought a new TX6. Set it up, worked fine. Used remote to power off and now it won’t come back on. Tried unplugging everything but no lights no display nothing at all. There is a reset pinhole I would assume but it came preinstalled with some software and I’d like to keep those if possible. What am I doing wrong?

you should just be able to run the system update and the kodi / media player updates and it should be okay

not sure why it would do that unless the internal drive is failing, you might be able to recover it using the USB repair firmware method mentioned in the video description

Question, if anyone can answer. I have a TX 3 mini and I’m trying to use it on a TV. I’m trying to get the cursor to show up, but it can’t figure out how. Do I need to have a keyboard to even use the remote that comes with it? It makes trying to click on certain things literally impossible.

sounds like an electrical short, maybe change the cables

a factory reset will return it to the state it was in when it left the factory unless you have updated the original firmware to a newer version

I can get to the bios menu. But there is no way to navigate. I don't have a remote control I only have USB keyboard and mouse. They are plugged in but nothing. No cursor or anything. Do they need to remain plugged in the whole time or should you plug them in after resetting?
to be honest i only ever tried it with the remote, i would guess the USB needs to initialise on startup so connected from the start

try the USB cable fix i also posted, it is most likely a corrupted boot sequence or drive and a new system flash might fix it

Mine is stuck in logo waiting forever, any suggestion. Before reset it was running cool , once I did factory reset kepps the logo screen only. (Tried hard reset and clearing cache)

I did this and it won't reboot. It says "failed to mount cache/ no such file or directory." Now what. I have tried it 10 times. Same thing.
you might need to take a look at restoring the file system via the USB cable we did in the other tanix video
Can the other brand "remote" TV box use for other brand "TV box"
Example, if you have T95 Max remote, can it use for TX8 Max TvBox?
If can't, can we configure TX8 Max? So TX8 Max can accept T95 Max remote?!

So, in my mind, if we can configure some Android stuff for remote control database in that TV box.

Do you have any SD cards inserted? The erase process should be done with pretty quickly? Are you erasing the cache first then the factory reset? This sometimes helps. Let me know.

the usb cable version might be useful? that is often what i suggest if the reset fix doesn't work
Using one of that does not work on my TX3 Pro... When I press the reset button, it sticks on the Amlogic 64 bit core S905x image. If I start it without pressing the reset button, it sticks on MBOX image... Any other suggestions?...

Finally, I managed to fix the TV Box by flashing a proper rom It looks like the rom I previously tried to flash wasn't for the TX3 Pro. Also, it is worth mentioning that one should use only one specific USB port, in order the TVBox to be recognised by Windows, namely the one closest to the middle of the side of the TVbox.

Hello Mike. Thanks for the video. I tried installing rom atvxperience and i am stuck on a boot screen. I want to revert to stock rom. I have the rom but can't enter recovery. The screen on the box says "boot". How long do i need to keep pressing the reset button? Any help will be appreciated!
did you create a backup rom or recovery patition?
Thanks for you reply. It was not stuck on boot after all! I had the box connected to my 4k tv and it wasn't showing anything. I decided taking it to another tv and to my surprise it was displaying the setup screen. Crazy! All is fine now. 😊
