Great video guys: I always enjoy your conversations and Chris’ portraits are inspiring. The 85 & 24-70 is indeed a powerful combination that’s able to handle almost all portrait jobs.
No zoom Lenses ! 85mm are a great focal length for portraits, for close shots of only a head, then a 135mm are better. I have both the Sony 85mm 1.4 GM I and the Sony 135mm 1.8 GM which also should have a new follower 135mm 1.8 GM II that are more compact and light weight ! For those who want a more light weight Lenses, there are fx Zeiss Batis Sonnar 85mm 1.8 T* and Zeiss Batis Apo Sonnar 135mm 2.8 T*.
What's your ultimate portrait lens?

I just want to give the sigma 105 1.4 some praise.

My favorite portrait lens is 200mm f2.0
The ultimate Sony portrait lens. Why don’t you just say that in the title, this is just a commercial for Sony.
Literally the first thing he said was not this particular brand just this focal length.
Sony???👎
