Have a knife you can't figure out how to get into? Have screws that are stripped or loctited in tough? No problem! Uncle Vu can get into anything. It;s always enjoyable when you take us along for the disassembly ride. Ya know, there are few things in this world that are as much fun as tearing something down, inspecting it, seeing how it works, and maybe add a little something to make it yours! And best part? Putting it back together and see how your little change made it different.I totally get it.
Love that sheepdog and the color. Should have mine tomorrow along w your recommendation of the cormorant. Funny your kizer cormorant short popped up in my feed today and noticed your name and was like oh shit another cormorant that sounds amazing then realized you were the one that told me about yours being exceptionally acoustic in neeves live video the other night. Thank you again bro for your input. Subscribed. Think I'm going to anodize a.s.a.p.
I’ve got one of these on the way and as a lefty I wasn’t crazy about the asymmetrical clip, but after watching this I’m definitely gonna order one of those ti clips 👍
It's not a cerakote, but it's called "Cri-Thick" film aluminum alloy - a hard anodic oxidation aluminum. A thin oxidized film. Similar to cerakote I assume!

Good stuff!
I have the exact same Sheepdog.
Got it a few weeks ago when it dropped.
Absolutely love it!
New sub here.
Good stuff brother!
I need a reg size sheepdog and i think this is the one i need.
This would be the one to get!
I just got mine. Love the video
Awesome! Hope you love it! Thank you for watching
I knew you were going to do this one, just waiting for it.
Hehe
I'm disassembling everything!
👍🏻
I have the sheepdog vanguard, in 10V instead of 154CM. If I were to get this new version could I do a blade swap?
It wouldn't work. The blades would have a different fit to the locking mechanism
Is the aluminum cerakoted

@@vucachon Thanks Vu
They never should have put the thumb hole on this knife.
Yeah I also believe that they didn't need to. I think they added it on more for the reverse flick. I think the studs are enough for this model
@@vucachon The cutout for thumb hole doesn’t feel comfortable, even when stud is removed.
@edsaban572 the cleaver blade makes a thumbhole detent feel soft in my opinion, due to its weight
@@vucachon I don’t like the look of the thumb studs sitting inside the the thumb hole. It bothers me lol. I dk I may keep it.
Where is that clip from?
