Not sure how this makes money but, not a soul on those stands. Why not give away some tickets and at least sell hotdogs and beer to recover some back? It'd also be nice for the drivers to see *anyone* cheering as they go by. Sorry to be a downer but I love the sport and would hate to see it go away.
I think one of the big problems was lack of promotion. I live in Vegas and follow most motor sports...and I had ZERO idea that this was going on. No billboards, no commercials on local television, etc. I would have attended had I known.
@@willsee7452 Exactly! They could've spent $500 on a radio spot or call in some morning show to announce it. Again, "free" does it. They can to sell concessions, cheer teams and promote the sport so they can sell the next event.

I'll sound bitter, but the stands are empty because they only understand NASCAR.

@@JoeyRodz74 Well it was the first season of the Blancpain America Championship, I'm pretty sure that the series will grow from here.
