There is a quote from Ranier Maria Rilke that says :
"The journey is the one within"
But as quotes are not only wordy I feel it's talking about doing nothing. Because nothing exists only according to frame of reference as you mean from your story. So universally/generally there is no 'nothing'. Because no visible transition of matter or energy happens in realising or feeling or understanding. But that makes a boy a man and a girl a woman and it can be stretched to a infinite limit of growth which again results to modulus or a unit or simply 1.
