    I'm wondering if the new light modules would fit behind the glass, if there was some way to fix them to the metal rim in place of the original reflector

      Yes you are right, another option was to weld in the 3 little metal tangs but i did not want to weld inside the headlight bucket.

      Hi Cédric, if you search www.Stedi.com.au or www.teralumeinducsties.com you will find higher quality ones but if you just type "7 inch led headlight" into ebay you can choose your price and quality.
      The headlight retainers are made by EMPI and you can get them from www.cip1.com or www.heritagepartscentre.com.
