November same sex wedding at Oceanview in Nahant, Massachusetts

Having photographed Carrie and Bryn‘s engagement shoot in Boston, I knew we were in for a good day. They did not disappoint. The whole wedding took place in Nahant, Massachusetts. They got their hair and make-up done at separate Airbnb and then put their dress on at the venue. Oceanview is a great place to have a wedding. It seems every way you turn. There’s a great background to work with There were some beautiful light and interesting angles to get some portraits of them separately. They chose to do the first look and all the pictures prior to the ceremony so that they could get back and enjoy their own cocktail hour. It was fun to incorporate the swing and the water behind them. The ceremony took place under the tent. You could see how much they truly enjoy being with each other. The rest of the evening was filled with fun, laughter, and a great dance crowd. It was the perfect combination of the candid, journalistic imagery, combined with some great portraiture. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.
