I’m glad to see you’re enjoying the hobby. Before you know it the kids grow up and they have kids of their own and your RLC pieces can be used as sort of time stamps to different points in in your life. Hot Wheels have been a very positive aspect of my life. Don’t spend $400 on an RLC. Squirrel away castings you think will be valuable and use those in a few years to get pieces you really want.
Yes, I started collecting after my firstborn n now he is 8yo so definitely have lots n lots of cool pieces I could part with. I feel lucky as to how many RLC I managed to acquire without the need to buy from resellers. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it.
@@SRGXIX I remember seeing your hunt videos a few years ago. Having a wholesome hobby and shared interest with others is an important ingredient for a happy, healthy life. Putting up UA-cam videos signifies you like sharing your hobby with others. The friends I’ve made and times I’ve had in the community have helped me through some of the rough times over the past 21 years. Collecting stamps is a very solitary endeavor and not nearly as beneficial of a hobby like Hot Wheels with monthly swap meets, price points for entry that open the door for anyone as well as years and series over the last 55 years that attracts bigger spenders. I know widower who only collects regular treasure hunts. He has fun hunting, a complete year only costs $15 if he finds them in store but sometimes he has to buy one at the meet where he is monthly, drinking coffee and talking to the guys.
