Remy brings up an excellent point on how poor hygiene is. Its something that is not talked about. I feel like access to menstrual products should be a human right, not a privilege!
Jeannie has such a pure heart. I can't understand the hate towards her, she has such kindness and compassion it's unreal her opinions sometimes astound me in a good way.
+Indi jay: She has made mistakes and has problems in her life (because she's human), and she is honest about those things... She doesn't have a filter and when you say too much about yourself, there is always people that feel the need to judge/criticize you. (haters, ignorants, people without empathy, moralists, envious, etc) Plus, she's very loud, extroverted, impulsive and cheerful and some people dislike people who have "loud" personalities. Also, she likes to hug people and get close to them and I guess for some people that seems uncomfortable. I like Jeannie a lot, but she just has a strong colorful a bit childish/super enthusiastic personality and usually people either love or hate that type. Anyways, humans are different and we like different things/people, and that's fine (as long as we respect each other.)
Danielle Danielle actually maybe you mean she's naïve but her heart is in the right place. I just feel like if you're going to criticise at least do it for something negative.
Danielle Danielle i agree with you. I know Jeannie means well but sometimes she can come off a little ignorant (for lack of a better word). I know for me personally I aint going to jail for just ANYBODY, I would have to REALLY, REALLY love you and you would have to be innocent as well. If that aint the case then ya on ya own.
Loni talks and reacts like she knows jail better than the other hosts. My poor jeannie, sometimes i so get what she is saying but it never sounds right to the others. Plus, everyone experience in jail is different.
jeanne violette She was in jail 4 one night or a weekend ( can't remember) plus she does a lot of stand up comedy in female prisons so I'm assuming she does know plenty information about how the system rolls.
+MeMe O. It was like a weekend i think. But wasnt it county jail? when tamera asked a simple question about the water temperature she mocked Her. I mean tamera is tamera but its not cool to always make people around you feel stupid for asking questions you May not find interesting.
jeanne violette I understand what Jennie means Yeah some ppl who go to jail and are used to it some ppk see it as nothing other ppl do not want to go back ever a gain time moves on ppl change
What Jeannie said is true. Ex cons have committed suicide because there was literally nothing for them to come home to. And the longer you're in there, the more things change. And how is loni so knowledgeable? When did she go to jail? 🤔
Sarah AAA jeannie the truth sounds like remy was talkin on her behalf and not tje minority. A large number of ex cons struggle returning to society, some go to the extent of committing crime just to return to prison.
@fehintola the girl asked 2 questions. One. How is loni knowledgeable as in she is wondering why loni has knowledge on this area. Two. When did she go to jail. How is that so hard to answer. Even if the question is sarcastic, it still needs an answer for the person to understand why. @sarahaaa She did go to jail. It was on one of the previous episodes, but I can't remember all of it. @sarahaaa If I'm not mistaken she was charged by association.
My brother father is suppose to be getting out very son. Im scared for him. He went when my brother was 2( in 1992). He is about to lost and confused. 92 is different than 2019
Kay Cee are you serious??? She's just a good girl, and she'll never do anything to find herself in jail. She doesn't have to go to jail to understand anything better. She lives a proper life, I don't think she's the one who needs to learn anything, others can learn from her.
I've been off team Loni since the season started. She literally makes jokes out of left field that have no place in the conversation. I remember last season (or maybe it was this season) she said she was tired of people coming up to her and thinking she's an alcoholic. Well people wouldn't assume you drink all the time if you didn't joke about drinking all the time.
I like how Remy corrected Jeannie about "you feel comfortable in jail". I hate it when people talk about an experience with confidence when they themselves haven't been thru it.
It seemed like what Jeannie was trying to say is that BECAUSE people get denied jobs, housing, loans, etc. (like Remy brought up) when they get released from jail they find it's comfortable to stay in jail/prison where they KNOW they will be provided food, shelter, medical care, etc.
Tay Idies what Jeanie said has validity. Everyone's experience shapes them in a different way but some people do become comfortable and can't handle the outside world because they have been locked up for a long time.
Ariadne Bene I agree with you I also think she was coming from a point of not being able to fit in with society because of the culture shock being so different from when they last remembered
Jeannie was speaking the truth though, people do become comfortable in jail a lot of the time because it becomes normal that's why the re-offending rate is so high.
No, you should have actually listened to the person who was in jail - REMY. Its not comfort, its that it becomes your only viable option. Re-offending rates are high because a criminal record prevents you from getting work. If you have no income, how can you support yourself other than crime?
Remy's been to jail but she can't speak for everyone whose been, Jeannie was talking from experience she has seen from the person in her life & I agree with her because I have seen it from the whole around me who have gone inside
Destiny Williams yes I new what Jeanie meant my uncle been n prison most of his whole life his said this abt feelin more I guess comfortable there at times because he's not used to the real world out here n etc ... so yeah I believe Jeanie knows someone n real for that she heard this true statement from , cuz I have too watched my uncle n n out my whole life ! So idk y immediately remy went against that I didn't feel that .
THE REAL: LOCKED UP Adrienne would have the whole camp doing dance flash mobs in the courtyard, Loni would be drinking & playing cards with the thugs, and Jeannie would have the whole building on lock within a day. 🤔Tamera? 🤔 I guess they'd find her body in a stall after a few hours with 'ADAM' written on her forehead 💀💀💀
This was the most awkward conversation about jail. Everyone needed to stop talking and listen to Remy. They all just sounded so shallow with their commentary. 😦😦
Jeanie is actually correct . Some people do get comfortable in jail because everything is provided like she said. I know people who got out of jail and wanted to go back because they were scared of the real world
better than you am I the only one who finds some of her jokes funny? I feel like they'd be a lot funnier if it wasn't daytime Tv cause I've seen her tell some FUNNY ass jokes in standup comedy
I like how they act like these people are getting thrown in for no reason. You did the crime, you serve the time. I’m not losing my life for nobody who doesn’t want to act right lol
I really wish they'd stop saying "I'm being real" "This is the real" whenever they're being extremely honest... like giiiiirls, we know the show is called "The Real" and we also know you're supposed to be honest! It's so annoying 😭
I'm not going to jail for anyone except my kids or my blood family... because sometimes family members and stuff like that are put into situations where they are innocent ( not all the time ) and that jail time that I sometimes not even needed is unnecessary
Whatever you think of Remy Ma or The Real, it's so great to actually hear a dialogue about prison life in a mature way and in this instance hearing Remy's firsthand experience on doing jail time.
Remy was in jail for a few years. she has learned a lot and gained lots of compassion. she should start a support group for women who are getting out and trying to get on their feet, or women who are in and just need the strength to make it through
I could only survive jail/prison with God's help. The closest I've ever gotten to prison is being a prisoner of my own thoughts...but that's a whole other discussion. lol
Good point gigglyfitzgirl, I am sure you've heard of the quote "We are all prisoners of own identities, living in prisons of our own creation". I have been living in a prison of my own creation for a while now, I hope I find my way out soon
Amber Murray I don't think she was trying to play dumb. Remy was talking about being in jail and missing the small things like eye brow waxing, nails, and then Tamera added in a glass of wine.
Jenna Marbelas Tamera asked "how's the food?" Loni and Remy said that it was bad. Adrienne said she doesn't care about stuff like that and Tamara said "I do". That's shallow in my opinion. There are innocent people in jail. Ade wants to know if she could survive it. Remy talks about grooming/hygiene . And Tamara is asking about food and wine?
Jeanie was right about the comfortable part. You get used to the system. Especially young. It's called assimilation and a institutionalized mindset. And Remy followed up correctly to Jeanie's statement.
******Alley******* She never attacked Tamera because she's black and she never said Tamera wasn't "black enough". Since when does drinking wine make you classy? You are so IGNORANT and delusional. You're starting something that doesn't make any sense.
I get why she said that, it was in response to Remy mentioning eyebrow waxing ,nails, hair, I don't think anyone expects to be able to get those thing either
As a correctional nurse, I would say my patients become very comfortable in jail because many did not have much else on the outside to begin with. Alot of them came from the projects, limited parental guidance, foster care etc. In jail, patients demand services and know every law to getting what they want in jail. Jail almost becomes their home and they become frequent flyers. Remy's situation is different because she had alot to begin with.
The way I see it is, if you committed a crime you do the time. Doesn't matter who it is, I will never go to jail for them. How will they learn? Exactly like Remy said, she is now afraid of ever possibly going back to jail. Now if someone else was to do the time instead of her, maybe her attitude and perception would be way different.
“Do you think I could survive in jail?” What kind of question is that? Millions have survived it before you...she has a tendency to make things about herself and seeks validation. 🙄
I get Jeanie. I had an uncle who kept going back and he called prison his home. It wasn't because he couldn't get a job or because we didn't support him. We had a family business and they would employ him and we supported him always. But he just kept going back to prison because it's literally where he said and felt like he was comfortable.
I feel like this should be discussed in schools to explain the reality to teens and young adults who think its cool when they are younger to lead the fake " thug" or dangerous life portrayed on tv, songs, and movies. This was a good topic, sometimes people dig themselves a hole without realizing what will happen and suffer horrible consequences. As a parent and family member in general , we have to explain to younger and slightly ignorant kids about the reality of getting in trouble and breaking the law as well as ignoring the value of education.
Loni acting like she did Remy's time or something. Going to prison ain't cool yet Loni over here acting like she's the OG of the chain gang 🙄. Remy wasn't even being extra like Loni and she's the one with the most prison experience sadly.
you can't go by one person's opinion. I did 3 years I was comfortable there is haven't been back and will never go back. But there is a sort of anxiety coming out and seeing new faces. because you saw the same faces for 3 years and same routine for 3 years.
i screamed when remy said im washing him as soon as I get out. iono if the audience didnt understand what that ment but that was the true new yorker in her that came out. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I couldn't help but think, "well in the army..." as Remy was talking about shower times (there were days in training where showers were 3 mins) + no luxuries. even with that said, I thank God for those who don't lose their minds in jail + are able to have another chance at a "normal" life.
Remy brings up an excellent point on how poor hygiene is. Its something that is not talked about. I feel like access to menstrual products should be a human right, not a privilege!
MissMCKC same you can't control that criminal or not
If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
MissMCKC it's as simple as that
osimeon00 inmates are also human beings. No excuse.
listen if your stupid ass ended up in jail I really don't give 2 fucks about you in jail and all that tax money shouldn't go to your dumbass.
Jeannie has such a pure heart. I can't understand the hate towards her, she has such kindness and compassion it's unreal her opinions sometimes astound me in a good way.
Indi jay sameee
yea you can be all that but i am not doing time for you....lol
+Indi jay: She has made mistakes and has problems in her life (because she's human), and she is honest about those things... when tamera asked a simple question about the water temperature she mocked Her. I mean tamera is tamera but its not cool to always make people around you feel stupid for asking questions you May not find interesting.
jeanne violette
I understand what Jennie means
Yeah some ppl who go to jail and are used to it some ppk see it as nothing other ppl do not want to go back ever a gain time moves on
ppl change
women hood true
I think she's just trying to say she knows more people in prison not she's actually been in her self so she understands it better
Why's Loni acting like going to jail makes you cool.. smh
Cindie M Shes just guetto
Thats literally not what shes saying or acting like.
Those side comments and giggles from Loni were unnecessary.
What Jeannie said is true. Ex cons have committed suicide because there was literally nothing for them to come home to. And the longer you're in there, the more things change.

Sarah AAA jeannie the truth sounds like remy was talkin on her behalf and not tje minority. A large number of ex cons struggle returning to society, some go to the extent of committing crime just to return to prison.
Sarah AAA Loni has gone to jail don’t be so quick to judge her she has experienced it and if you watch the real enough you would know that

@@kavaniawilson860 sigh. Sad to hear this. Hopefully opportunities comes his way.
Loni needs to learn when to tell one of her horrible jokes and when not to, and this was one of those moments she shouldn't have.
Justvae i agree!!
Totally agree. It was really inappropriate!
That was really rude considering that Remy wasn't making light of it at all
RIGHT? AND SHE KEPT DOING IT
True Adriene looked so annoyed😑
Ain't going to jail for nobody .... next topic !
Kassidy Day Exactly!
Tamera comes off so high class you can tell she wouldn't survive in jail 😂😩
Martha Stewart survived in jail. I guess it depends on the kind of prison you go to
NYCzora I'm being sarcastic lol.
Dee 7/7 Thats why she needs to go to jail to experience how it is, like how they do it on scared straight! She takes little stuff for granted
Kay Cee are you serious??? She's just a good girl, and she'll never do anything to find herself in jail. She doesn't have to go to jail to understand anything better. She lives a proper life, I don't think she's the one who needs to learn anything, others can learn from her.
Kay Cee What does she take for granted...
Loni jokes were inappropriate they were asking real questions. Not everything is a joke. Geez normally I'm team Loni but this was a no.
I've been off team Loni since the season started. She literally makes jokes out of left field that have no place in the conversation. Ariadne Bene I agree with you I also think she was coming from a point of not being able to fit in with society because of the culture shock being so different from when they last remembered
Ijada Courtney Definitely that too.

THE REAL: LOCKED UP
Adrienne would have the whole camp doing dance flash mobs in the courtyard, Loni would be drinking & playing cards with the thugs, and Jeannie would have the whole building on lock within a day. 🤔Tamera? 🤔 I guess they'd find her body in a stall after a few hours with 'ADAM' written on her forehead 💀💀💀
swaggpro17 The Tamera part! 😂😂😭😭😭😭
So glad to see your comments.
swaggpro17 😂😂😂 you missed the 'two kids' part
swaggpro17 A mess 💀💀 Why you gotta do Tamera like that?💀
Lmfaooo to the tamera comment ahhhhhhhh!!! Lmaookkk
swaggpro17 Dead😂😂😂😂😂
poor adrienne and jeanie they were just giving their opinions lol.....
Ap M yea their aloud to right it's a talk show of more than one perspective
This was the most awkward conversation about jail. Everyone needed to stop talking and listen to Remy. They all just sounded so shallow with their commentary. 😦😦
Why are they laughing and acting so childish over something so serious .... Ugh🙄
Roosje_ Rush
Nervousness
Roosje_ Rush thought the same thing
Roosje_ Rush Everyone but Adrienne. The rest were beyond childish smh
It was really annoying...you can tell Remy was annoyed a little
Jeanie is actually correct . Some people do get comfortable in jail because everything is provided like she said. I know people who got out of jail and wanted to go back because they were scared of the real world
I once heard a homeless person say, they commit crimes sometime to have a place to sleep and eat.
right, its called being institutionalized
Loni girl, you sometimes gotta chill on the jokes. I really enjoyed this segment minus the Loni commentary.
What has Loni been to jail for? Telling dry ass jokes?
better than you lol
better than you Ikr they suck. does anybody even laugh at her jokes?
haha I thought that was a stupid comeback until I realized it was his username
better than you am I the only one who finds some of her jokes funny? I feel like they'd be a lot funnier if it wasn't daytime Tv cause I've seen her tell some FUNNY ass jokes in standup comedy
better than you Stick a fork in me I'm done!😂😂😂😂😂
It's ok Jeannie the rest of us understood what you were trying to say
Loni is really annoying, like be quiet and let people speak. The jokes arent funny and its not like shes been to jail before.. smh
Loni jokes are terrible
@4:05 Loni go get comedy lessons, that was seriously not funny. I can't stand her out of place "jokes"
Koala Right. Remy didn't even dignify it. Cant imagine being instructed when to bathe.
Koala she's nvr been funny to me I nvr new she was a comic until she used this platform to tell the world
Tamera is precious!!! She's just a good girl through and through. I'm not going to jail uhhhhh uhhhhh. Lol love her..
Tamera asking about the water temperature 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I like how they act like these people are getting thrown in for no reason. You did the crime, you serve the time. I’m not losing my life for nobody who doesn’t want to act right lol
I really wish they'd stop saying "I'm being real" "This is the real" whenever they're being extremely honest... like giiiiirls, we know the show is called "The Real" and we also know you're supposed to be honest! It's so annoying 😭
I’m watching this back and Jeanie announced this week that she was in jail two times before and I see her and I’m like girl why you lying! Lmao
The only person i'd go jail for is my my mother, other than that miss me with that.
Loni's timing is as bad as her "jokes"
Remy was in jail for a few years. she has learned a lot and gained lots of compassion. she should start a support group for women who are getting out and trying to get on their feet, or women who are in and just need the strength to make it through
6 years !
Tamera's "Hell NO!" had me lmao.
I could only survive jail/prison with God's help.
The closest I've ever gotten to prison is being a prisoner of my own thoughts...but that's a whole other discussion. lol
gigglyfitzgirl you still see my other comment boo? I'm checking for yours too lbs
swaggpro17 I saw yours about not batting for the other team.😂 So far, we're good girl.
Good point gigglyfitzgirl, I am sure you've heard of the quote "We are all prisoners of own identities, living in prisons of our own creation". I have been living in a prison of my own creation for a while now, I hope I find my way out soon
You just told my life story
Angel Swaz you get her point. It's not that serious
I ain't going to jail for no one
"You can have toilet wine" lmaooo stawwpp😂😂😂
Tamera is being so bougie . Like is she trying to be funny or something ? Girl DUH there's no wine in jail. Stop stating the obvious.
Amber Murray thank you, I hate how she acts dumb and innocent
Amber Murray I don't think she was trying to play dumb. Remy was talking about being in jail and missing the small things like eye brow waxing, nails, and then Tamera added in a glass of wine.
Tamera was obviously just pointing out the small things you miss out in prison
Jenna Marbelas Tamera asked "how's the food?" Loni and Remy said that it was bad. Adrienne said she doesn't care about stuff like that and Tamara said "I do". That's shallow in my opinion. There are innocent people in jail. Ade wants to know if she could survive it. Remy talks about grooming/hygiene . And Tamara is asking about food and wine?
Amber Murray girl shut you uuuup. not everyone is like you . she said what she said get over it
Tamera was like "Hell No!" Lmaoo
2:40
My roomie baths once a week if I'm lucky.... Even when it's that time of the week. She sure must be rehearsing for jail 😂
Jeanie was right about the comfortable part. You get used to the system. Especially young. It's called assimilation and a institutionalized mindset. And Remy followed up correctly to Jeanie's statement.
Thank goodness Remy was here to GUIDE and SAVE this conversation!
I’m here just after finding out Jeanie went to prison... twice
Lucy but she’s talking here she never been
Sheena D I don’t know maybe she didn’t want anyone knowing at this point so she acted like she didn’t know but now she’s more open about her past
Loni needs to remember that we don't have to joke 100% of the time.
Omg i just freaking love Remy lol she said nope so fast fse😂😂😂and she's also so well spoken and smart!
yo Remy looked like she was beside herself this whole segment with these stupid ass questions. props to her for keeping her cool
badgyalriri xo I feel like she wanted to hit an "Are You Dumb?" 🤔
World Love lol fr
Tamera annoyed me a lot like a glass of wine ? Really?
Maïsha girl please 😕she was talking about the Little things you miss
Leave Tamera alone idk why some blacks girls like to attack other black girls that have class. I'm sorry she isn't "black enough" for you.
******Alley******* wait 'drinking wine' means she has more class. nonsense
Tamara said “hell no!” 🤣

Shima Amiri Exactly, I would never put my life on hold for someone else's bad decisions.
Tamera: Helll noooooo 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Loni always has me cracking up 😂😂😂😂
Who else is back after the recent episode where Jeannie said she went to jail
Lonnie: "Did you say water temperature?" *Looks at Tam crazy* OMG I love the Tam-Lonnie energy on the show. :D :D :D
why Loni acting like an expert though? lmaoo
“Do you think I could survive in jail?”
What kind of question is that? Millions have survived it before you...she has a tendency to make things about herself and seeks validation. 🙄
Prison is slavery in a nutshell and some of your favorite stores and brands invests in them especially private prisons
sheisreina why
Iqra Qaali free labor
This clip makes me see why people are starting to get annoyed with Loni.
“IDK WHY YALL LAUGHING” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love how when Remy said she would go to jail for her son, Tamera had no reaction. Like, nah Aden you're on your own for that boo
"Two Kids" would have a heart attack if she had to go to jail lol
Jail isn’t a vacation but damn 3 showers a week. That’s a mess.
Im glad Remy was there to give them the facts because Jeannie swears she knows what shes talking about and she doesnt.
Such an interesting subject, one we need to know more about to educate ourselves!!
I been to jail and it's horrible I'm so happy to be out jail thank you Jesus. I haven't been to jail since 2010 and don't ever won't to go back ever.
I wish you all the best and God bless you.
This episode makes me think Jeannie lied recently about going to jail twice in her twenties
Bless Remy for being so opened to talk about her experience there.
Tamara: I'm not going to jail. Hell No!
My girl Rémy Ma needs to be permanent! 👍
".....I don't know why y'all laughing" Adrienne!!!
Parker Lion
Nervousness
I like that Adrienne just owned up about not knowing and asked
I get Jeanie. I had an uncle who kept going back and he called prison his home. It wasn't because he couldn't get a job or because we didn't support him. We had a family business and they would employ him and we supported him always. But he just kept going back to prison because it's literally where he said and felt like he was comfortable.
Loni acts like she's lived there😂
A glass of wine you can’t have that in jail 🤣 me asf 😭
Remy ma is the best guest co-host on the real
I feel like this should be discussed in schools to explain the reality to teens and young adults who think its cool when they are younger to lead the fake " thug" or dangerous life portrayed on tv, songs, and movies. This was a good topic, sometimes people dig themselves a hole without realizing what will happen and suffer horrible consequences. As a parent and family member in general , we have to explain to younger and slightly ignorant kids about the reality of getting in trouble and breaking the law as well as ignoring the value of education.
Anybody here after watching Jeannie say she's been in jail twice?
A il me!! Haha she's a good actress
I live love seeing Remy Ma on The Real. Bring her back!!!
No you couldn’t survive it Adrienne... wtf? 😂
Jeanie been to jail twice!!!???? Why she asking questions???
"I heard you can't flush more than 3 times per day." She lived it, why is she saying she heard it?
@@angiesolivan5353 exactly my thoughts. Cuz she probably been lying
Tamera said oh hell no lolz
Remy is AMAZING on the Real!!!! I wish she was the 5th lady on the panel! She's so real!! 💖😘👏🏽
Adrienne is so sweet for saying she would take her sister's position.
NOPE. I’m right there with you Remi!!
The toilet wine comment had me dying
Tamera "I'm not going to jail, hell no!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 oh yes tamera we know you wouldn't last haha
they're talking about a serious subject and tamera is over here talking about food and a glass of wine? 😩
I was always told growing up. If you stay out of trouble, you'll stay out of jail.
LOVE Remy's hair and makeup here x😍😍😍💖
Loni learn when to make jokes and when not too, Adrienne looked so annoyed.. I was annoyed myself!
Loni acting like she did Remy's time or something. Going to prison ain't cool yet Loni over here acting like she's the OG of the chain gang 🙄. Remy wasn't even being extra like Loni and she's the one with the most prison experience sadly.
Loriana Hines right ! Lonis like this abt everything makes fun of her "friends " makes em seem dumb .
you can't go by one person's opinion. I did 3 years I was comfortable there is haven't been back and will never go back. But there is a sort of anxiety coming out and seeing new faces. because you saw the same faces for 3 years and same routine for 3 years.
Tamera said he’ll mo lol 😂😂😂
That pony tail looks so magical 🦄✨
i screamed when remy said im washing him as soon as I get out. iono if the audience didnt understand what that ment but that was the true new yorker in her that came out. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Adrienne's shadow is BOMB!
Toliet Wine really Loni!!,😒😒😒
How ironic is that I just came from writing a paper on prison systems in America.
I couldn't help but think, "well in the army..." as Remy was talking about shower times (there were days in training where showers were 3 mins) + no luxuries. even with that said, I thank God for those who don't lose their minds in jail + are able to have another chance at a "normal" life.
I would NOT go 2 jail 4 NO ONE. If u did the crime then u do the time. Ur responsibility! !
