Do you fully believe in the forgiveness of sins professed in the Creed? Fr. Mark-Mary tells us that so often we receive forgiveness but continue to carry the internal burden of sin. Drawing from the parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15, Fr. Mark-Mary encourages us to recall that we have been freed from sin. And I think it's because we're not talking about wounds and traumas. Sometimes church doesn't go here, and we are mind, body and spirit. To understand things a it better..

Thank you Father Mark Mary. I struggle with being worthy. I left the weight of my past sins hold me down, at times drowning me. I worry that I haven't full confessed everything in my life. I repeat sins previously confessed out of fear that i may have forgotten them. I want to let go. I want to feel that complete peace but let all those negative voices of the devil that have told me I will never be good enough seep back in from time to time. My love for Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit grows, my devotion to Jesus through His Holy Mother Mary and His Sacred Heart grows. All I can do is poco a poco! & I thank God for that. He is so so Good. Praise God forever~ Thank you Jesus for being my savior, thank you Holy Spirit and my guardian Angel for walking with me daily- redirecting my missteps and loving me fully.

I’m so happy for this. Days before this I was in serious doubt of Catholicism looking to other faiths. I noticed very few if any have forgiveness like god. The forgiveness of god is valuable so don’t take it for granted. I’ve been horrible in life, committed so much sin, talked so badly of Christianity, said so much mean and rude things. I still carry these burdens and beat myself up, I feel this video was a sign it’s the first one I watch since my moment of doubt happened. Lord have mercy on my heart please, I’m so sorry for my sins, my bad talk to others and you. Lord please I’m sorry please forgive me. Amen.

I think that hardest thing to do is to forgive onesself. I made so many mistakes with my children following the new age.
I just pray that God gives me enough life to see my children come back to Him.

I always smile at my bothers and sisters. It makes they feel good and smile back, it takes them out of their mystery that they were thinking of and can pass the joy and love around then. My smile is the biggest when I receive Sweet Jesus in Holy Communion or when I am giving my brothers and sister Communion. I had a sack full of secret sins. God forgave my sins, and I forgave myself. The rub is that I'm still seeking forgiveness from my family, who I betrayed and disappointed. Satan also takes every opportunity to remind me of my sins. Am I free of temptation and sin, no, but by the grace of God and the fruits of the Holy Spirit I now have an arsenal to fight sin. I not only take the yoke of Jesus, but also of God, the Holy Spirit, Mary, St. Michael, all the angels and saints, my priest, Fr. Mark Mary, Fr. Mike and all the trusted earthly friends, because I neither can nor want to live my life alone and isolated from the support of others. All glory to God.
Sometimes it is hard just to forgive yourself, Great lesson today, God bless all and wishes for a wonderful day!

This was so good, I listened to it again today.
The last time I went to confession, I noticed that each person coming out of the confessional had a big smile. I mentioned that while in confession and my pastor said "I hope you have a big smile leaving." and I said, "Yes, a very big smile." I really enjoyed this episode, good reflections for a future homily.

The Forgiveness of Sins -
I praise and thank the Lord for forgiving my sins, when I seek Him in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Sometimes after I went for confessions, I still carry my burden, for I just remember I forgot to confess certain sins, my sack of stone still with me
Lord please help me to let go of this burden, as i believe are with me, as I examine my conscience before I go for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and you have forgiven me as I wait my turn for the Sacrament
