The horror of this crime is hard to comprehend. The victim’s life was taken in the most horrific way imaginable. The person responsible for this atrocity is a coward and a menace to society. Justice must be served, and they must pay for their heinous actions. My deepest sympathies go out to the victim and their loved ones.
Police should never use polygraph, EMS, or other such machines. They don't detect deception, they detect stress, and there really isn't any correlation between stress and honesty.
That's why people need to be smart; refusing any/all tests, especially subjective, don't answer questions, and IMMEDIATELY & SPECIFICALLY request a lawyer if you're not free to leave the interrogation!💯👌
@@BillyTwoKnives First of it doesn't work. So I can't tell you how it works. But I can tell you what it does. There are lots of different models of polygraph and they measure different body processes such as breathing, heart-rate, CO2, perspiration, voice stress, galvanic skin resistance, etc etc etc. The problem is that all of these various measurements stem back to the same source. They all measure stress. Stress is really just a measure of the amount of adrenaline (epinephrine and norepinephrine) produced by the adrenal gland. And the problem with that is that there is very little correlation between stress and truthfulness. A polygraph presumes that if you are nervous you are lying. And that's just not true. People can be nervous and tell the truth and they can be calm and lie. Nobody should ever be considered a suspect or considered "cleared" of suspicion on the basis of a polygraph. Cops like to use the polygraph not because it can detect lies (it can't) but because it adds stress. In the past they would use threats of violence to do the same thing. One cop would always be threatening to harm the suspect. Now they tell the suspect that he has failed a polygraph test and that he'll surely lose his case and go to prison. They hope that he'll feel helpless and will plead guilty to a reduced charge. It's all just a ruse to get him to cop a plea. Nobody really believes a polygraph can detect lies, least of all the cops.
The police is lucky that this guy Buchanan kept his old shoes for one year and a half. They couldn't investigate him one year and a half earlier when the murders happened?
Sexton had a perfectly nice little home there with his girlfriend, too. Why he had to go and ruin it is an example of a death wish. I think he had a death wish; he knew he could get the death penalty for what he did, and then he gave his DNA to hurry it along. I wonder why he had zero ethics; where he grew up, etc. I wonder whether he had asked for an advance on his pay, been refused and left in a rage or something. I mean, what on earth could have set him off to leave work and go and do that?

That is why they aren’t admissible.
Wrong. That is not how a polygraph works, lol.
@cogitoergospud1: Tell me how a polygraph does work.

I don’t believe that symbol was a number 8. It looks more like the symbol for infinity.
