Hi, can you please clarify where those glorious white sand beaches are? Loved how you cleverly snuck them in there without mentioning them 😅? Right before the 4th yay and right before the 5th yay 😂 and lastly on your last “subscribe” shot… Please BEWARE, those beaches shown in this video are NOT the Florida Keys. I live in South Florida.
The sunset hot tub is included! The spa is the only thing you have to pay extra for, that's if you do massages or facials or anything. You would schedule those when you arrive! :)
How did you guys feel about the tipping? Most of the negative reviews I found complained about having to tip after everything even while being at an all inclusive resort.
Yes the tipping was definitely pricey, but because we read the reviews and knew it was a thing we prepared beforehand! We spent about $100 a day in tips.
I see a mask, did you guys travel during covid? Hubby and I were looking to travel in August for our anniversary but not sure on travel restrictions and what is all available
Yes this was in June, just barely! They are still open right now and they did a great job keeping things clean. In fact they are offering a 10% discount right now because of COVID. Everything at the resort is still open and good to go!
Good video, but the beach scenes are totally unrealistic for Key Largo. Do your homework, KL has a LOT to offer, and I'm sure this place also has a lot to offer, but you will not find a beach that looks like that on the video . We live on a rock.
@@agshustle4207 Kids are often disruptive and spread germs and disease like nobody's business 😷. There are plenty of family-oriented vacation spots. I'm so glad there are spots that cater to singles, childless couples, retirees, and parents who want to be alone for a minute.
3:31 As a long time traveler, I can say that Bungalows has plenty of activities for a resort and also offers a driver to take you within 5 miles of it, for free. Its a romantic place that is meant for relaxation and that "get away from it all" feeling. It's not the Vegas Strip or Disney World. I never understood why people forget that ALL of the Florida Keys is available, on top of what their particular resort offers. People should treat Bungalows as a place to enjoy AFTER their day or night of riding up and down the Florida Keys to see what they find to do, or to rest after a day in the sun. If you DON'T go to Key West to see Duval street and barhop for a day, while you're already in any part of the Keys, you're doing the island vacation thing wrong. There's so much to see and do. On Key Largo, alone, there are places to swim with dolphins, rent boats, rent jetskis, tours on the water, fishing charters, sunset/sunrise cruises, bars/restaurants, snorkeling locations, glass bottom boat ride, scuba, massage, and more. That's just one island. On others, you can find airplane tours, parasailing, skydiving, and whatever that thing is that you can fly around on the water by shooting water out of the bottom of the board you stand on. I think its called hydroplaning. Resorts aren't prisons. You can leave and come back, at your leisure.
I've been researching Bungalows. I'm interested in it. Question: In your video, you showed 3 quick clips of luscious sand beaches. Correct me if I'm wrong, BUT Bungalows does not offer that. In fact, I can't find those type of beaches anywhere on Key Largo.
I do not know why they would put stock videos of beaches in this video. Totally deceptive. Bungalows has no beach. Nor can I find a man-made beach on Key Largo island.
Is it worth the price? At roughly $1,000 a night it is pricey. How easy is it to get to and from the resort? If we want to go take a walk or see a museum how easy is that?
I think what makes it worth it is the unlimited alcohol. I don't drink so all the workers were teasing me saying "dude why would you come here... The unlimited alcohol is the only thing that makes it worth it" You really can't leave while you are there. You park your cars in a special lot and then they take you into the resort via golf cart. You won't want to leave though!
So it looks like you went during Covid so how was that? Can you get a boat ride to go snorkeling or fishing?? Is the resort near other areas in key largo?? We are looking into going for dec. Had a Crusie planned but ya lol
This place was amazing during COVID, we went when the virus was absolutely raging. We couldn't even tell there was a pandemic going on! They did such a good job of making you feel like you're having a normal vacation. The resort is near other areas but you won't want to leave during the day! Yes you can get a boat ride to go snorkeling and finishing but it is extra cost
I would loooooove, to be there during a raining season. OMG…that’s what I need. Just to be isolated from the world, in my own little bungalow. Chilling. Question: would you happen to know if pets are allowed. I’d love to bring my cat.
@@Camilo19832001 dang I didn't realize they closed! If you're looking to get away soon the US Virgin Islands are a beach paradise and open right now!! Cheap flights and lodging. I'm posting a video today about it!!
I mainly know the Upper Keys! Couldn’t tell you much about the Key West area. Up here I’d highly highly recommend either Playa Largo or Cheeca Lodge if you wanna be on the Beach. Best time to come weather wise is Spring Break. That’s when everyone comes though lol it gets crowded. September is the height of Hurricane Season, but the weather is beautiful and it can be nice avoiding the crowds a little lol! I love September when there isn’t a hurricane barreling towards us. We’ve been lucky since Irma in 2017! Spring Break if you like to party, Fall if you’re looking for something laid back!
I recommended Playa Largo and Cheeca Lodge. They are hands down the 2 best beach resorts in the upper Keys. One thing Cheeca Lodge has over Playa Largo is, there’s a lot more cool bars and restaurants within walking distance if you stay at Cheeca
Can you tell us what’s a good tip? Per meal, alcoholic beverage, house cleaning etc ???
Great review…thanks. I am thinking of going 🎉
Great video! So informative
So is there a beach there that has access to get in the ocean to swim? We are leaving in 2 weeks for our first time and so excited!!

That's what I'm saying!!!
I heard they have a whole gratuity scam. When you go to check out you have a bull for like $4K. That true?
Is the spa/sunset hot tub included? Or is that something you have to pay for separately?
The sunset hot tub is included! The spa is the only thing you have to pay extra for, that's if you do massages or facials or anything. You would schedule those when you arrive! :)

i guest when you pay a $1100.00 a Night min 3 night you no worry about tipping take a couple hundred extra and that's it.

Yes
This this is Key Largo! It's about a 2 hour drive from the Miami airport.
Love it!!
Thank you!
Are you kidding? Places like this are expensive! Like $2,000/ night!
It was about $700 a night with their COVID opening discount!

A resort like that is made "too do nothing". That's the idea get away from it all..
Yes very true!! It's perfect for people that love to just chill and get away from everything.
Let’s not be a good family resort then
No it's adults only, no kids allowed!
Why tho, why the restriction for kids

Playa Largo Hotel offers a beach 😌. It’s down the street.
Uh sorry! Not for $16,643 per week! That’s insane!
is tipping mandatory, I don't wanna seem like an asshole but isn't all inclusive sort of the point is no tipping or worrying about additional cost
Your video shows people strolling on a beach in the intro and again at 2:17......is that part of the resort or stock video footage?
I do not know why they would put stock videos of beaches in this video. Totally deceptive. Bungalows has no beach. Nor can I find a man-made beach on Key Largo island.
Don't see anywhere you can get into the water and swim from the beach. Is that possible? I want to surprise my husband with a trip here.
Is this place really all inclusive like the Caribbean?
We’re your alcoholic drinks included also? Or did you have to actually pay for alcohol?
