      Or another good example... convicted versus charges... I've never been convicted of crimes, but I have at least two dozen charges. 🤷‍♂️ hwo am I to know they can see the charges? Jeeze... I guess I'm stuck in USA and gun/drug countries?!?!?! Okay 😅😂

      @benjijarman that's cute, so that one time when you were 16 and swerved your car wrong, should haunt you when traveling to other countries? That's a charge in my country, does your country care about how I drove 25 years ago?

      @benjijarman maybe employment makes more sense. It's easier to say no you haven't been charged, than it is to explain it and why. And depending the employer, they can't see that stuff unless they pay for it. Same with high school diplomas and such; it's illegal for the school to talk to your employer, you can say whatever you like.

      @@BorderSecurityOfficial Ya, I have seen quite a number of these fantastic dogs doing a wonderful job in detecting drugs and piles of money. As a dog lover, l simply adore them for their diligence in carrying out their duties with little reward in return but all in a day's work.

    Just curious how can they be checking there phones messages?bi can see when you are arrested but before?

      they check the phone because people give them their passcodes. they are not required to but if they refuse then they will detain you longer and investigate.

      My brother just got back from Vietnam and they checked his phone. So they should. Aussie born as well. Yep just shrugged shoulders on every question !

      Your rights in your country do not apply when you go through Customs in another country. They are allowed go through ANYTHING you bring into the country. You pretty much consent to this by choosing to enter their nation.

    What I've learned from watching these videos is you should always lie to customs officials about your drug use. anytime you tell them you've used drugs, they automatically assume you're a drug mule. Never tell customs the truth about drug use.

      Nope. Also. You’re free to refuse anyone searching your phone. They’re also free to deny you entry.
      Basically you’re at their disposal when you enter a country.

      @@johnsun2416 I’m a brown guy with a Muslim name. Customs is very, very stressful for me. All of that said, you’re not accurate.
      The Gestapo didn’t give you a choice. You ALWAYS have a choice at the border. You CAN deny the officers things.

      No. They don't require one in the U.S. or Canada either.
      They don't even require 'probable cause'. This includes citizens returning home.

      I went to Florida earlier in the year from UK and border force were incredibly strict on everything I was doing while I was there, they even asked for a birth certificate for a 4 year old

    1:45 Wrong spelling on the incoming passenger card. It should be "Sydney/SYDNEY" not "SDYNEY". Also, there is no address written down regarding his accomodation. At least write down the hotel name if unsure of the address.

    Australian customs are over the top, ive travelled all around the world and no country is like Australia. Don't allow customs or immigration to read your texts don't give them your cell phone, they can only request and you can deny them, they need a court order to go further

      Then they will probably just turn you back immediately because they can interpret your refusal as trying to hide stuff. There’s an old saying that people crossing borders have the least amount of rights available. Everything can be searched.

    It takes less than 10 minutes to falsify a job/employment offer letter and this guy couldn’t be bothered to even do or google it. His whole face screams: I’m a big liar, and his story is lame similar to how a 10 year old would lie. Isit a wonder why he can’t find a job in Malaysia?

      Even better, don't resign from your job in Malaysia until you've successfully passed through Australian customs. Until then, you're just 'on vacation'..
      That would take some minimal skills of foresight and planning, though.

    The stories posted are all very silly, and the guy who narrates them is rude. The findings are all based on the violator's ignorance such as: Not deleting pictures or messages, bringing very little money, not researching tourist destinations in advance, not preparing a script, in general it's very nonsense.
