Do you think direction matters? I k ow you say practice both but I am right handed but spin the opposite way from yourself predominantly as I find it more comfortable. Is it really just a personal preference?

Does it matter if my hand goes under the one gripping the mace because I can go way faster and it gives a similar look

It is personal preference, but it shows more variety if you can spin in both directions.
