momo mokbang Mayday literally has a legacy. They sell out their shows all the time within minutes, often invited as guests to top cpop artistes concerts. and cpop top stars features for their concerts. They compose their own songs, compose songs for others too. Every time they release a song, it tops charts - even if the song is not sung by them but only composed by a member of theirs. They’ve been around for more than 20 years. I’m a fan of Korea bands too but Mayday is on another level.
momo mokbang they're the best band for us (not Boy Group of course). We love kpop too but most of us had been loving Mayday since we were a kid. From they were just boy to them getting married and be father, they're like role model or teacher who thought us all sorts of things. You might not know them but they are precious to us.
So far there are no hard rock band in Asia can beat Mayday for the past 20 years. Mayday live performances is one of the best I have seen among the Asian rock bands. I think only Japan rock bands can compete with Mayday but their lead vocalists usually not tall and cute like Mayday's lead vocalist Ashin who doesn't need to put on tons of make-up and wear shoe lifts(He is 43 year old now and gained a little weight but still very cute and I would not advise him to lose weight, he was cuter when he was younger and thinner.) . Ashin has the perfect body and face for a lead vocalist for a hard rock band. He has a good fashion sense on stage with those hoodies and t shirts and leather pants. He has all around phenomenal stage presence and showmanship. Also Mayday they have two really great electric guitarists accompanying a really good live vocalist Ashin who is able to sing live for 3 hours straight jumping up and down in loud loud hard rock music without any lipsync, and Ashin can sing live while playing his acoustic guitar or electric guitar which he is pretty good at. And not to mention Ashin is a good composer and an extraordinary lyricist who is able to produce and write all the songs together with his band. He and his group are the perfect union and what a really good hard rock band should look like and sound like on stage.
Such a good band. I knew them because of their collaboration with Flumpool. I never expected to see them in korean tv and I'm glad, more people will have the chance to know them
