After watching the show Designated Survivor, I have developed respect for the role of White House Chief of Staff. Just, on edge all the time.
feel kind of sorry for the new chief of staff that had UFOs for their first week on the job, but still not as bad as the challenge anyone who worked cheeto's administration had.

Outstanding job? Don't you mean it's like he's standing outside? So many missteps by Biden. Losing the culture war along with the Virginia governorship. Boarder crisis. Punishing Harris by sending her to Central America on immigration. Classified documents became an issue he should have immediately had Biden's homes and other offices searched. Lastly, if he was so good, why did he quit?
FYI, I'm neither Democrat or Republican. But I appreciate the truth. He didn't do a great job or he'd still be there doing it. No one is perfect especially given the current political climate. But great job? C'mon, let's be serious.

Interesting interview, as a Non American I am not entirely familiar with the position, so I never really had a clue on what they were up to but this was a nice insight from a man who appears to know his stuff.

Falling onto water from a height is like slamming into concrete - still, perhaps there's more recoverable from water than a land smash.

There's a difference between the impact force at the moment the object hits the water, and the blast force or destructive force of an impact. The instant that a metal object hits the water it will receive a severe impact force, the same that it would encounter if it hit the ground. But after that millisecond of impact, the water would begin to exert less force on the object (in scientific terms, water has elasticity). WIthin a half second of impact, the combination of deceleration and elasticity/low density of water would have cushioned any further damage. Therefore, even though a large structure, such as a solar panel, would probably be broken/shattered by the impact with water, the smaller parts (and certainly all the microchips) would be left unharmed.
On the other hand, if the object hits soil, rock or even trees, not only will the bigger parts be shattered, but much of the microelectronics could be crushed to virtual dust. Shooting it down over water was smart. Shooting another one down in FRESH water is even smarter (IC engineers will understand why)

I work with ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles-underwater).
I was on a job in the Gulf of Mexico many years ago recovering debris from the first at that time explosion in mid-air of a 2-man helicopter. It was amazing how much we recovered.

Ron Klain is one of those public servants that you rarely hear about but, when you do, you feel a huge amount of appreciation and admiration for because of their obvious passion and hard work behind the scenes. ❤🙏

I remember in 2020 when Biden and his bought clown car of even clumsier politicians all said they would steal the nomination from Bernie Sanders if he got anything less than a 50% majority by using superdelegates. God knows what happened in iowa in 2020 when they conveniently managed to deny Sanders the momentum that was about to bring him. DNC and their allies are so corrupt. Same people who think Biden doing corruption while VP was okay to do.
I remember in 2016 when the DNC and media used superdelegates from the very beginning in all the state’s results to make Bernie seem like he was losing badly, just to suppress his turnout. They’re crooks.
