Despite blue is an iconic terran colour, and purple is the iconic zerg colour, their meeting in the game was extremely rare. Other than the bootcamp mission, I reckon they only met in Kerrigan's rebirth mission after the Dream sequence. SC2 is a different stuff though.

Full SK Terran feels pretty underwhelming nowadays when facing Zerg. It's basically playing to all Zerg strengths (dark swarm, plague, Ultra meat shield + Crackling DPS, Muta divebombs, Lurker traps...) and hoping that Terran is quick enough to win in less than 20 mins. Some kind of a hybrid SK-into-mech would probably work better.

Imagine a patch for SC1 to nerf dark swarm and consume. It's not even fun to watch TvZ when zerg can just win at every stage of the game while terran is forced to win under 20mins.
@@ObeliskM Nerf plague too then. So it works only on bio, and stops at half health of the unit. Also lower the speed at which hp is drained. Plague is op. Especially paired with consume. Another workaround would be to make it singletarget and lower the cost to something like 50-75.

To be honest, just making it so it does static amount of damage like Psi Storm but can kill would be sufficient, they can effectively spam it anyway, same cost as psi storm. Consume needs to go. No other spellcaster can refill their energy bar in mere moments, sure, it costs lings, but that's an incredibly efficient trade off, and practical meaningless for how much it does. Granted I wish terran would use EMP more. But its definitely hard to use due to missile speed, cost, unlike being instant like psi storm or plague in that it doesn't have a missile speed.

I would love to see more battlecruisers, but unfortunately both scourge and plague murder them fast.

Sadly, no.
Matrix will not absorb damage from Plague, Stim Pack or EMP Shockwave.

It's not the same magnitude as making a big chunk of one's army go to 1 hp pretty quick and being able to consume right after. Also dark swarm
