This performance was UNREHEARSED! Let me say that one more time, although they talked through who would sing what part pror to performing, they DID NOT REHEARSE THIS PERFORMANCE! That is why they look so happy after the song was finished, they knew that it was "fire"!
She asked him if she could with him THAT day, that she just wanted to be his "back-up" vocalist... her perfect talent and intuition on what harmony to use and when to come in on his lead speaks volumes. Love her. And these two together.... chef's kiss.

This is one of my all time favorites from her! The whole Nashville Sessions she did were incredible! She doesn't just do pop she does incredible soul/r&b too.
Her tributes to Garth Brooks "The Dance" and Reba McIntyre "Fancy" at Kennedy Center Honors and to Aretha Franklin "I Never Loved A Man" from some TV special a few years ago are all superb.

Try any of her Kellyoke’s , what she calls the music segment, on her talk show. They are shorter, but you won’t be disappointed. Seven Nation Army, Queen of the Night, Trampoline, really can’t go wrong with any of them. Her new album,Chemistry, has been nominated for a Grammy.
Kelly's live covers of "I Put A Spell On You," "Ring My Bell," and "Queen of the Night" are some of my favorites of hers! All three blew me away.
If you listen to Queen of the Night, make sure it is off of her Kellyoke EP. You need the entire version.
Kelly singing Piece by Piece on American Idol still makes me cry...I believe she was pregnant with her first child...she made all of the judges cry too (especially Keith Urban)...
That one wrecked me! It showed her human side- she wasn’t afraid to give that ‘father’ the middle finger with that song!

She is the best female singer of our generation. First of all this was practiced not even once they kind of ran through it before the show. She begged him to sing with him and said she just wanted to do the backup parts. So that's what she's doing in this song she's letting Teddy shine because this is Teddy's album that he's promoting she's an incredible duet singer because she always knows how to match and harmonize instantly and to let are there artists shine when she could blow them out of the water. Every single one of her performances is a masterclass
Mixtape medley, from a game show that Jimmy Fallon hosted where she and Ariana Grande sing snippets of songs by other divas. Showing both of thier ranges. Sadly I don't know many of Kelly's songs herself but I love when she has other artists 9n her show and she signs with the artist like she did with Teddy. P!nk and Alanis Morissette are two of my favorites. She also recently performed I will always love you on an awards show. She chose to do a version somewhere in between Dolly's original rendition and Whitney's and it was masterfully done. I believe she is an incredible singer and is rather humble about her gift. She loves to sing and seems always so honored to be able to sing with any of her contemporaries. She is so giving when singing with others.
Kelly is my favorite. Aretha Franklin said Kelly would be around for a long time. She loved Kelly. Any of the ones mentioned and her live performance to Reba’s Why Haven’t I Heard from you Lately. Also cover her Arianna Seven Rings on her show

Kelly was one of Aretha Franklin’s favorite singers. Anything she does is phenomenal. Kelly performing “Up to the Mountain” with Jeff Beck from 2007 Idol Gives Back is truly exceptional.

Do you want more Kelly like this? You should definitely try some of her “Kellyoke”. That is a (short) music section that she does on her TV show.

You should absolutely react to Kelly's newest album. It's called "Chemistry", and the Deluxe version is insane. It's amazing. I love watching reactions to it, especially people who are totally oblivious to how ridiculously talented Kelly is. She is otherworldly. In a league of her own.

Kelly Clarkson and Chris Stapleton actually do a duet called Glow that is fabulous! It’s a Christmas song, but it still made it in to my daily playlist! She also does a very emotional performance called Piece By Piece live on American Idol 2016. Just beautiful. Makes Keith Urban cry. She’s a fabulous singer! Very bluesy voice with a range that has no limits.
She did a cover of "I'll stand by you" by The Pretenders(the Fan request video is the version you need to watch) its my personal favorite and also the live Version "Piece by Piece" on American Idol is also one of my all time Favorite songs of hers.
Teddy and Kelly sound sooo amazing and sultry together! 🔥 Yes, go down the Kelly Clarkson rabbit hole. She has to be in the Top 10 most gifted female vocalists in the modern era. She consistently nails it - whether it’s an original or a cover, studio or live. As others have suggested, her singing “The Dance” for Garth Brooks at the Kennedy Center Honors is a must. Also, her version of “It’s Quiet Uptown” is absolutely beautiful. And for original stuff, her live performances of “Piece By Piece” on American Idol and “Mine” (stripped at the Belasco Theatre) are some of my faves.

It won't be hard to find a good Kelly performance. There are really only FEW performances that she's not been one of the best vocalists in the industry. Truly great, world class singer.

I recommend checking out Kelly’s performance of Meaning of Life (live Nashville Sessions). It’s an original song of hers. So good! Yes the Kellyokes are great (She Used To Be Mine is probably my favorite Kellyoke), but I also think you should check out some of her original music as well. 😊 Another performance from her that is stunning is It’s Quiet Uptown (live at the Honda stage) after she was asked to do that song for the Hamilton Mixtape.

definitely don't be afraid to search anything with kelly in it. there were some pop songs that were just generic but she still shines.. definitely look into the kellyoke's as of late. she has matured a ton and it shows in her singing and choices of ad libs. and for me when her and Pink sang OMG.... so much fun ... keep up the fun vids sir cheer.
The name of the album is appropriate because Teddy says his performance name SWIMS stands for Somebody Who Isn't Me Sometime. Kelly is doing her job perfectly and isn't trying to upstage Teddy and giving him an amazing backup and harmonic support in this performance. Give a watch and listen to Kelly singing "She Used to Be Mine". Her newer sound since she lost all of the weight seems to be much more open and confident, but she's always great.
