I personally do not do bobbin lace but I do find the process so satisfying from an ASMR standpoint and your voice is so pleasant! The patterns are beautiful, too!
Thank you so much! I’ve started ‘No Talking Tuesdays’ where I make lace live just for the sounds. 😄 And I will be going live more working on projects & chit chatting too. I hope you can join us sometime!
I'm a beginner at bobbin lace and fell in love with your pattern at first sight so i just had to buy the pattern! I followed the video here and it turned out beautiful!! I've started a second one and have several requests to make them......yes i have given credit where credit is due and have told everyone that you were the designer. I hope you have more videos on here as I'm not a TikTok user and i can't wait to see what other patterns you design!
I have been mesmerized by this craft since the first time I saw video of it years ago. But when my racing mind doesnt shut down at night, your voice is so soothing and you let the bobbins' clickety-clack shine and it just carries me off to sleep. Thank you for posting these longer recordings!!
I love your videos, they make me sleepy (I promise as an insomniac that's a compliment). I originally found you on tiktok, I hope you never let this art die out ❤
So glad you've posted on youtube. Sorry it was blurry. I followed along and was mostly successful with my first bobbin lace project! (I noticed at the end that I messed up the fourth cathedral spider. I think it's a regular spider?) But I don't want to tear it all out because otherwise I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Thank you!
Hello, I really enjoy your videos! I'm wondering if you did a video yet on your working pillows or stands? For example, I've seen you and others using what looks to be a linoleum type piece below work, your stands and such. I'd love some suggestions and what works best, what you don't use as often.
Hi! 😊 I have an explainer video about my pillow here: Curious about my Galician bobbin lace pillow? 👀 #bobbinlace #lace #fiberart #diy ua-cam.com/users/shortsyM1DMNeL4m4?feature=share You can see a better look at my stand & the linoleum covering I use in this video: ua-cam.com/video/OQNXIV86ve4/v-deo.htmlsi=SVqV2_cHxGk8urAZ Let me know if you have any questions! 🫶🏻
I've just gotten the patterns and read them thru but I can't find the thread size that you used😢. Could you please tell me what your thread size is. I've not done any lacing for a while due to family circumstances and I like to start again. On your video you are soft spoken and I can just barley understand what your saying. Kind of hard for the hearing impaired. So if you did say the thread size I didn't hear it. Spiders are my all time favorite stitch to do😊.

I really wish the video quality was clearer, the pattern looks so pretty

The asmr of bobbin lace and your soothing voice makes everything ok and that feeling of relaxation is priceless !❤
🥰 I’m so glad you find it soothing.
The sound of the bobbins is amazing

😊 Thank you so much for your kind words! I am so glad you're finding the long form content soothing.
I really enjoy your videos. All of them are clearly explained. Very interesting to watch. Thank you for sharing all these patterns.
Glad you like them! 🤗

Wow thank you for your amazing teaching videos! I’m doing this pattern now and it’s so helpful to watch exactly how to do this!
You are so welcome!
I just bought a bunch of these bobbins from you on Etsy! They are already my favorites. They have such a nice heft and feel. ❤️
Glad you like them! 🥰
I love your videos and, yes, the sound of the bobbins. 😂
Thank you! 😄

Hi!! I've just posted 4 new videos with walk throughs of the different parts of the bookmarks! 😄 Look under the 'lives' tab on my main channel page!
I was today years old when I learned a lace book mark would be so intricate and difficult to create!!!
😮
It sounded like the microphone was pointed at the bobbins, not your mouth. Loved the design! Will go buy it. Wonderful.
Thank you! 😊

@@GaliciaBee where can one buy one of the wooden stand with the notches on the side, circular pillow that rolls? Thank you in advance.
There might be some stands and roller pillows for sale on Etsy. 😃 Also check some lace FB groups! My husband made my stands and my roller pillow.
amazing video!! so relaxing 🥰 (it’s audra btw haha)
Hi Audra! 😊
I was wondering if there are specific pillows for specific design of lace.
Yes, and also you will see different kinds of pillows from different cultures around the world. 🗺
I love that you finally got to UA-cam. The video went very blurry though 😢 (-Melissa)
Oh no! Were you able to watch & understand the beginning & how to start the project? I'll try to upload a new video soon!
@@GaliciaBee yes I was. 🥰
@@Du_Hwhot I'm so glad!
Does the pattern for this on Etsy, come with written instructions?
Simple written instructions, yes. :)

I use a variety of weights! 😊 20, 30, 40. I think I’m using 20 weight in this example. 😁
Do you have any other tutorials for this? I’m really trying to follow along but the video is so grainy I can’t see anything….
I’m filming a new tutorial today! I will try to have it ready today or tomorrow! 🫶🏻
But it’s blurry once you get to the cathedral area 😢
Oh no! Thanks for letting me know. Maybe this video will help: ua-cam.com/users/liveA2DogL7S-R4?si=FmTtr-88HuYR6J0C
I can't wait to try this!!! ♥️@ashtucker86
