  • Shoma, a sophomore at Canadian Academy, is a Third Culture Kid (TCK) who has spent a significant part of his formative years in Spain. He is excited to speak on how Third Culture Kids can positively impact a globalized world and is motivated to speak about the complexities and challenges they face globally. Having grown up in two distinct cultures and environments, he has developed a strong interest in activities that help bridge people from different backgrounds. Since freshman year, he has been a member of Model United Nations (MUN) and has actively collaborated in group service activities such as in the Student Body Council (SBC). He hopes to shed light on how these challenges can potentially shape Third Culture Kids into becoming global citizens.
