My guess is that Zyra is one of them. Choice of plants, placement of seeds and passive manipulation make her skill curve last for a long, long time. I played her for 12 years now and I still find ways to optimize every aspect of her kit. She can also build a ton of different items if you want to fulfill a different role and that changes the skill max order and runes by quite a bit. Anyone can just poke with her. But to get the maximum value from her takes so much experience. That's my opinion anyway.
I bet Hwei and Aphelios because of pure Skill numbers. Sylas and Viego are a given(You need to master 160 more spells). But the others i am unsure. You need to guess based on Skill ceiling(?), then most likely it would be Azir, Zeri, Riven, Nida, Kalista, Kata and then Ryze?
Azir was mentioned in a past patch rundown. I would guess Draven, Kalista, Hwei, Irelia, Yasuo, Thresh, and Nidalee are among those champions as well. Maybe K’Sante, Akali, Qiyana, and Jayce too? Idk
A lot of people pick up Gangplank because they like 'big boom', and the precision required makes him reasonable to play against and also satisfying to learn. I suspect Karthus should fall into this category of champion, but his Q's inconsistent delay makes him feel incredibly clunky and unsatisfying to learn. I'd imagine Karthus has more mains if this were addressed
Karthus Q has to be jank because of the CD. He's also in fairly unique spot as a high DPS caster, Azir is the other one but also actually autos, so there's no reason to remove his unique space he fills.

Regarding the patch rundowns~ well, the previews talk about most everything in them, so I think its good that you take some time off there. I think it might be worthwhile talking about if there are somewhat bigger differences between preview and actual patch, or something getting pulled for reasons beyond "needs more time to cook". I'd definitely love to see some videos on topics beyond just the patchnotes.
Hearing about Kennen, I saw someone say to try throwing him bot lane and see how it goes. Would be interesting to see him as a bot lane focused flex champion. Maybe nerf his durability and his base cooldowns, and maybe turn toward a new spell-crit scaling or simply on-hit focus or something idk I'm a noob. I think that character looks a lot more dynamic in the bot lane and maybe can flex mid while weakening top since no one likes ranged top laners that excel at kiting melees. Idk.
Akali got gutted after the last nerf, interested to see what happens after the assassin changes. Personally I really like the skirmisher Q playstyle of top Akali rather than being an E2 bot
That's true, but in his defence he did say he was designed as a jungler and didn't want him to be a pro-jail jungler and that his design succeeded with that. Typically tank jungles in pro are almost second supports that can manage on low gold to allow laners to be richer (things like maokai/sedj/poppy), so he added gold scaling to skarner to stop this being a thing. He then acknowledged it then made top a logical option because he gets more gold there, and they're nerfing it again
@@caruja5301 I agree with what you're saying here. I do feel that Skarner is pretty much Sion/Ornn (Pre K'Sante era) in the top lane for pros. His jungle game is pretty underwhelming.
For karthus I feel like nerfing r or e is better because those are the two unskilled abilities. Q has a lot of skill expression in a fight trying to hit a target, especially when they have mobility. Maybe a jungle mod for q to nerf the dps only for camps would be better.
as a bot ADC kennen main im sad to see kennen hp nerfs, i understand he is rough to vs in the top lane and needs changes, but definitely going to gut the pick in the bot lane :( would LOVE if riot could address his projectile speed on his auto's tho, atm it is incredibly clunky till u get some atk speed!!

I firmly believe that Lethality on items should have reduced value on ranged champions (either 25% reduced effectiveness or 50% reduced effectiveness). That way AD assassins can have items that exist for them that can be in a good spot without the items being completely and easily abusable by ADCs like Cait and Jhin, as we have already seen how easily certain ADCs can break the game with Lethality builds. Sure Quinn will be hurt by this, whom is one of my favorite champions in the game, but sacrifices are required for game health from time to time.
The issue is, Collector is firmly an ADC item now, so you can't try to sell them an item and say "this is nerfed on you btw", that's bad design. You'd have to reduce specific outputs on each lethality item instead of a flat nerf. Also Aphelios gains lethality as a level up stat, so it gets really weird with him.
@@Bladius_ Aphelios would be fine because I specifically stated "items". As for Collector, they just need to remove the crit chance then boom, no longer an ADC item. Honestly I'm of the opinion of removing Collector from the game entirely because giving every champion that builds it a free execute is stupid and unhealthy for the game as a whole, just like Duskblade was a stupid item that either gave every champion that build it invisibility or untargetability depending on the version.

If they took the time to build actual items for ranged champions instead of this dumb "every champion can use every item" garbage, ADCs could be in a better itemization space. Riot needs to make specific to melee and specific to ranged items again, that was healthier for the game than what they are doing right now.
Not sure if you read these, but I hope you guys would be willing to take bigger steps with this whole Gangplank thing, this is definitely a push in the right direction but his passive base damage is really weak in bruiser builds, you even added the crit scaling to that at the same time as the crit scaling for his E, wouldn't it make sense to adjust that as well? Since First Strike isn't good on him anymore, Q not counting as ranged would also make bruiser actually viable (Grasp) even if it makes Gangplank more of a lane bully. If we can't have ER sheen anymore, we should revert him back the way he was?
Personally love playing GP as a bruiser and always have, but since they made him a crit one shot assassin I haven't really been playing him at all. Agree with everything you said but I remember Phreak saying that they don't want GP to be pro jailed, which is why they removed his bruiser qualities.
@@muizzkazi5432 making him have a viable bruiser build doesn't remove the crit build at all, besides when playing bruiser his damage is already half (if not more) than what he has on his crit build, so I don't really understand what you're trying to get to with this

In terms of AD mids in pro play, the big three are Trist Corki and Yone followed by Jayce. Ezreal has one major region midlane pick all year (only Quid). Just wanted to point this out because Ezreal is firmly not in midlane meta right now while Yone is pretty apparent, especially in China.
Very happy to see the assassin change coming. I just wanna bring my idea about a special assassin shaco. Now ad shaco is not in a comfortable position, mainly because as an ad assassin, his W,E,R are magic damage and the value is pretty low(180+80% bonus ad in max e,8s cooldown flat), dealing around 200-300 at most after 15min. The main damage of AD shaco is from the Backstab Q, which requires lethality to amplify(because the ad scale is also not decent). This put shaco in a dillema: for lethality build, shaco cant get any value to amplify E damage, and unstable Q damage(require backstab, which is never 100%) cant make sure oneshot even in great lead; for crit build, criting only improves backstab Q damage from 155% to 175%, 13% more damage but cost 1000 gold per 25% probability. To solve the problem, riot have to give shaco a clearly prefered build path. If lethality, make E damage adaptive so it benefit from building lethality, and make damage amplifier grows with losing health like lee sin Q but not a strict 30%health threshold like qiyana Q. If crit, make backstab Q a simply critable bonus damage but not 155% crit which can be replaced by 175% real crit, then turn down the Q cooldown a little because crit path has no ability haste. These are my ideas, I believe the change could be appreciated by every AD shaco otp. By the way, I really wanna see AP assassin shaco build viable. Missing the S10 period where rocketbel+lich bane can still oneshot backline. Tbh in current kit ,ap assassin shaco makes more sense than AD: reliable ability to cut in backline, executive magic single-targeted shiv, good way to leave combat R+W.
Phreak I get that cait was unfun as a late game oneshot machine but after her nerfs all her items and first strike got nerfed she feels seriously weak for a lane bully, if you wanted to push her into a more "standard" adc role of crit auto attacking maybe bring back the interaction between runaans and her passive? Or maybe make it give only 1 extra stack per auto for a pseudo 3 hit passive. Also it feels really inconsistent with what your headshot auto gets used on and not, I notice it with zyra plants for example use headshot and don't even deal extra damage, feels very bad idk if it's intentional or not. Anyways love the patch notes, honestly the game feels really good right now overall and pro is also super interesting too keep up the good work!
Her headshot auto is very consistent, it increases the damage of the auto it gets used on. The zyra plant interaction isn't unintentional, her plants take modified damage from all sources, taking 4 damage(out of 8 health) for ranged attacks regardless of whether it's a Lvl 1 Karthus auto done through exhaust, or a 4th shot 6 item Jhin. This was changed in V9.10 -Damage from basic attacks that doesn't trigger on-hit effects (ex. Corki's Hextech munitions, Miss Fortune's Love Tap, etc.) no longer deals a separate instance of damage to her plants Caitlyn's headshot damage doesn't proc a seperate series of on hit, so it is counted as bring the same damage instance as the basic attack it is modifying.
I think Cait headshot is never meant to be used on Zara plants. SO! I think it would be nice, if Cait headshot did an extra tick(or2) of damage to Zyra plant. In the unfortunate event in which a players accidentally uses it on a plant.

I don't understand the logic for assassins. I mean, haven't they always be supposed to be "survive the hard early, be patient cause you are an assassin, then punish mistakes and snowball" If they can lane bully, then when is their weakspot supposed to be?
As a kalista player, I would love if there is someway you guys could remove the invulnerability on her ult and make it exclusively an engage tool. It makes her too hard to gank and too strong in pro. Something to justify more E dmg and not get turned off by slows. I dont even want an ultimate at this point.
I understand wanting to make assassins more fun in the laning phase because I've played a lot of assassin mid over the years, and when you play something like Katarina or Fizz, you're kind of just playing to conserve as much health as possible for the possibility of a jungle gank or roam, like a juggernaut against a ranged top, needing to watch minions die without farming and generally just avoiding interaction with the opponent. So I can see the viewpoint of wanting to make this a little less painful and think it could be interesting, but the problem is that assassins have this weak laning phase because of their designs being maxed into mobility and damage at the cost of range and survivability, meaning it's not really intentional that they are weak, but rather a byproduct of the fact that range is far more important in the laning phase due to various factors like lack of early sustain, lack of damage for kill potential on all-ins, needing to CS and it being a lot harder than just using a single Q on the wave, minions being more of a threat, autos being more impactful and allowing a ranged champion to run you down after you all in, etc..., with mobility naturally out scaling it as the game progresses due to range's advantages being less important in the mid-to-late scenarios. And because of this, I fear a generic solution like better innate sustain, higher base damage, higher base MR, etc... (like the electrocute changes), instead of considering the reasons they are weak in the first place and changing them accordingly, will result in another durability update type of situation. Perhaps if we gave them more survivability for the compensation of taking away mobility (like 250 range or roughly 25%~ of their threat range), it would create a situation where you actually need to get caught by the assassin who played well, rather than them dashing across the lane with an 825 range dash (diana E) that out ranges a lot of mage's poke, resulting in a stat-check situation. This would also mean in the late game they can keep their high damage one shot playstyles, just with more positioning needed similar to a control mage or enchanter, lest they get blown up trying to walk into range for a pick.

i feel like small touches like slightly bigger attack speed growth, +1 AD level 1, a small buff to her passive or a combination of these would already be enough tbh, seems like very safe buffs to give her as well
Can you please give Xin Zhao 6-30% magic pen as a passive on his E, 10% AP scaling on Q, and 10% AP dmg on his passive? He also needs 50% ability hast for double W which is way too much ability haste needed for this combo. Xin's Q cooldown only goes on cooldown when he has finished his 3 attacks.
Suggestion for making top lane more friendly for melee vs. ranged: Increase the turret range by maybe 50 units. The most frustrating part about playing melee into ranged is not even being able to CS under your turret without being harassed. Maybe there's issues with this change but wanted to bring it up.
Sad, not seeing any change for Smolder considering he is the game newest champion (not for long and it seems that It's gonna be the excuse for a blind eye on him). This impression that the League team DOES NOT CARE about the champs they release, they just throw it at the game and "whatever". Right after some champs get a love treatment on the attempt to make them viable and not broken, like K'sante or Zeri , which is frustrating to see the effort putted on those champs when there is Smolder who had been loved for many at release and hated right after, when picking the champ was seeing as throwing people where reporting just for picking a champ, bad mouthed for liking a champ and playing it on its intended roll, doing the best you can with the champ you loved. Smolder , the gameplay plan of "overpower on late game", the "time bomb" champ just like Aurelion Sol and Veigar but as an ADC , it was perfect and now it's very sad Phreak. I see that you try hard and work hard and i love your approach on the community and I'm very grateful, but *releasing a champ and doing what was done to Smolder, is revolting at the least*, should be shameful that your community expects you to act as you once did to Zeri when she got gutted once. It saddens me that Smolder is likely to just be forgotten, and the League team looks like they couldn't care less to their newest champ.
Issues of facing Skarner Top and some proposals how to fix it: 1) Perma zoning with boulders (at level 9 - without AH - the down time is 2 seconds if he delays and people do delay). 2) Perma slows so you cant even fight back 3) Ungankabable - he can just E the hell out thru walls 4) Undivable 5) Doesnt need to dive or rather can force you out of yours turret safety 6) Insane gank prep 7) Waveclear (even tho not insane) is way to good for all the qualities he already has 8) Can farm from safety 8) Fairly high econ champ building fairly low econ Tank items causing this strange situation of outpacing anyone with the same gold (even if he is behind it legit feels like he is ahead) In all honesty the way how Skarner is designed it legit feels like he is a perfect laner. No weaknesses at all and all that while also being able to scale fairly well. The only way Skarner ever dies in lane is when he does a series of mistakes (basically blowing all his cooldowns at once while missing everything). For me personally the 2 things that really feel and are unfair are point 1 and 2 from the list above which is why I think that Q cooldown should start refreshing after he drops the boulder to give opponents an actual time window when they can at least consider fighting him and his W should lose its slow, damage or shield (personally I would remove the shield simply because often it overlaps anyway with Fimbulwinters shield proc on slows at the later stages of the game). Not sure if thats enough, but this would be a good start to make him a little bit less miserable to face.
I feel like the only weakness in Akali is her lacking a bit of maneuverability in her W. Maybe give her flat 15ms and ghosting while invisible, and reduce the decaying ms%. Thoughts??
Please make Qiyana be able to punish mistakes in lane and snowball , like she used to do. Above high dia/low master you just autolose lane to 99% of midlaners if you pick this champ and it leads to really boring laning phase and overrelying on your teammates and having no agency.

"Lane Bully" is the worst archetype in the game. When outplaying a lane bully involves not fighting them because they are designed to win it is not fun.
Thought I agreed at first read, but then thought some more. Would like to weigh in here- It might not be fun for you, but I can see winning later in the game by “default” due to earlier decision-making possibly being fun for others. After all, in some games the best thing you can do for your team is not feed, which in the case of lane bully matchups is literally what the enemy’s “win” condition translates to. Probably has a lot to do with differences in receptiveness to instant and delayed gratification as well, but I just thought the perspective was interesting.
It's not really an archetype, it's a large chunk of the roster, and this isn't a fighting game, after all, it's a moba where all champs get stronger over the course of the game and have to contend with different situations over the course of the game. Champs are going to have different shapes to their power curves and kits that are better suited to different situations.
The other day in my recommended I saw a video titled "the most hated man in League of Legends" and I'm like what??? personally my opinion of Phreak only *increased* since he got hired on the SR team and gave us these patch analysis videos with loads and loads of explanations and insider context. Yeah, him and his team made some mistakes but who doesn't?? The only way to avoid mistakes is to do nothing. And they have been doing *tons* for the game. ❤

Skarner being perma ban or lose top for 3 months barely got nerfed finally a decent nerf, Fiora still untouched completly unfair and broken, Brand overstat as hell dominating jungle bot and mid untouched, but we need to nerf Kennen because he is in a ok state for the first time in 5 years.
Hey Phreak, what’s the verdict on the changes to Navori? I feel like every adc prefers the old Navori that had AD and the only champion that likes the new Navori is Voli. Is there anyway we could get the old Navori back or if we keep the new Navori, change it away from a marksmen item to a fighter item and balance it as such.
I think the main issue for Adcs with current Navori is there's not a great item path with it because ER is doo doo. They should give ER Navori's old impermanence passive. And make a new AD+Sheen+Crit item. Because AD caster DPS options suck... Collector is an AD caster burst option that happens to have crit. It doesn't really work great for a total build path that'd include Navori Flicker blades. Same with opportunity. Which is the issue. Not that it's entirely bad for Adcs. Just it doesn't fit in any actually existing builds. Because ER sucks, and no crit sheen sucks.
@@daymianhogue1634 ER is still built more by ADCs than Navori. Navori just isn’t good on any marksmen right now. ER isn’t great but it’s buildable. Navori is built more by voli then by every marksmen combined

Etc etc. there's more changes than just "Navori gives AS instead of AD now"
Please look into Skarner's build diversity. Going from Pre-rework to Post-rework is like going from the rainbow to shades of grey. A lot of the old Skarner mains don't need you to move the very moon & stars, just make Ad/Ap somewhat viable.
Aatrox changes are good in concept, but he seems moderately worse in high Elo and similar in low Elo. He shouldn't have worst in class regen values even at level 18 aside from Briar or Rek'sai when he can basically only heal in champion combat, and his W has been less than completely functional since the "bugfix".
Aatrox passive can heal him off creep wave, and jungle monsters. Also I think you’re expecting Aatrox to win 100% of games if played “Perfectly” That’s not how league works. I’d recommend locking in more than 1 champion, when you play the game. P.S. Aatrox still might need some work, but you need to have a solution. Or be identify a hyper specific problem that others are missing. He can’t heal passively. Unless you want them to nerf his healing when he’s aggressive.
@@EpicDBagger Aatrox passive is at most double digit healing once per wave even assuming you hit a cannon minion, and jungle monsters except Scuttle Crab are not HP positive. I'm expecting Aatrox to not have worst in class regen beyond the early game, which is what he's had for almost five years before 14.12. The only time he has had worse regen than now is when he healed on damage to minions from E, and only by mid game at that.
33:49 so stripping Kog Q attack speed with proper adjustments(not nerfs) would be biggest Kog change since the Machine Gun revert, hopefully Riot looks at this champ properly, because he was once a Hypercarry champ that a strategy named after him. Currently he is very strong early game champ, that peaks at mid-game and falls of at late, he clearly lost his identity in modern League, so hopefully a more through changelist happens for him.
@@EpicDBagger He's right, Kogmaw power spikes pretty early, he's not a lane bully per se but his power spike is 1 item/level 9 and he starts falling off after that.

Profane Hydra being in the game and adding waveclear + burst without giving up something (like Ravenous vs Lethality) is going to make this a nightmare real easily. And please just share your thoughts on things without caring overly much about audience expectations, people will come up with things regardless and hear what they want to hear.
Profane has been in the game for months now. What is your point? All the Hydra items have 1thing in common, A.o.E. (AKA Wave-clear) Titanic’s unique thing is- HP /Stacking-Auto Reset Ravenous’ unique thing is- LifeSteal / AoE Healing Profane’s unique thing is- Lethality / Execute on Active. This all checks out. If you don’t like wave clear on assassins, Tiamat also needs removed from the game. Not just Profane. Or is your problem with the item the execute on the active? The point of your comment is not clear or concise. Please elaborate.
@@EpicDBagger Yes and Profane has been on the border of being unhealthy for those months and this conceptually makes it worse. Giving assassins stronger lane when they have an item that increases agency massively through waveclear/roam snowballs real fast with little counterplay. Building Ravenous on an assassin means giving up lethality, choice of waveclear vs burst. Profane is a catch-all item.

I love orianna but I wish she could get buffs to her support style, so I Can play her as support. She is super fun but she feels underpowered if I play her as support unfortunately 😔 And this is frustrating because I Think this role could be interesting as a secondary role for her. So an idea for Kennen, if he's always a menace to top laners, have you considered moving him out of Top lane entirely? Maybe even out of solo lanes in general? Maybe shift him to a bot lane role, ADC has always been a low champ pool role, and he could easily find a niche as a manaless caster. Maybe add some passive interaction similar to Kalista that can incentivize having an ally also hit the opponent? Idk, just an idea.

He's super weak to invades, but the majority of players don't counter jungle, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's primarily picked with team comps with winning lanes who can rotate to cover him in case the enemy jungler attempts to go for a duel. If those assumptions are correct, then Karthus isn't actually very overpowered - he's simply being used in a similar fashion to Rammus, where the circumstances around when he's picked dictate whether he's good or bad. I don't think Karthus have no counters, much like I don't believe Rammus has no counters. Also I'm pretty sure Fiddle and Ivern's optimized clears are faster than Karthus by a decent margin?

the Lissandra buffs are so placebo. AP Ratio on her Q when her Q barely has any base damage and -2 seconds on her W early game when you rarely use your W early game anyways. what's holding her back is that Riot is afraid of her being too good in pro play.
I understand Smolder is in a much better spot and it might be a bit scary to touch him, but itemization on him still feels horrible. Is there any way he can get changes similar to GP to reinforce his bruiser build or make his autos do something with his kit so he wants to build crit?
They don't want bruiser smolder to exist and have said they'll actively make sure it doesn't. He's a caster adc with a big range and a wall hop. I loved abusing tank/bruiser smolder, but I agree it's not okay for it to be a viable build on him for game health. I agree for what it's worth, buying items on him at the moment is super weird, he needs heavier crit incentives, like Sivir and Xayah.
@@Bladius_ His crit incentives are not bad at all, and you will generally reach at least 75% crit chance by full build. He gets as much % damage on Q (+ passive) from crit chance as he does on auto attacks. He also greatly benefits from ER, but only RFC, Shieldbow, and LDR are obvious purchases afterwards. Furthermore, you don't like the AS from RFC, Shieldbow is a situational item that is weak early, and LDR is less effective on Smolder because he deals mixed damage. ER -> Shojin -> RFC -> LDR -> Shieldbow or something similar is already an extremely viable build, but he lacks choice within the crit item system. While I think removing the crit scaling on E was strange in retrospect (it is worse at nearly every stage of the game now, and they don't want him to be able to ignore crit items), adding even more crit scaling on his damage doesn't fix the issue as far as it exists. He needs better incentives to auto attack, so he feels good about building PD, IE, etc., or crit items need to be updated yet again so he has real items that fit his playstyle like old ER and Navori did.
Any outlook on olaf? Between the nerfs and ghost nerfs, hes not been doing so hot in elos below masters (according to lolalytics at least). Still wonder how a champ like olaf ends up high elo skewed.
I don't think he's as easy as he seems, and being immune to peel probably isn't as valuable in low Elo because enemies will already have poor positioning and coordination. The biggest reason is likely that he's one of the most early game skewed champions in the game, and he can easily take over games if you play aggressively in lane and close out games before he starts to fall off. Champions like Tryndamere, Darius, and Olaf have historically always been high Elo skewed despite their apparent simplicity and reputation as noob stompers.

Please don't change the survivability of akali, it is legit the only thing she has that makes her usable in solo queue. If you remove her survivability she has nothing to deal with mage's poke and even if you buff her early damage numbers she will not be able to become a lane bully in mid. This goes for other assassins as well, assassin's aren't bad because they have no damage they are bad because the mages out perform them in everything. They have better wave clear so it's easier for them to play for tempo, they can harass assassins out of lane (yes even akali can be harassed out of lane if the enemy mid is good), they do just as much burst but from a safer distance, and they also scale well into late game. They have one point where the assassin can contest them and that is mid game. If you remove survivability for damage then assassins will not be able to access any gold till 6, unless they are graced by a good jungle. Akali specifically is more likely to become a lane bully top than it is mid.
Can you please bring back bait ping, ward cleared ping, hold ping and add tower dive ping? And can you please add /mute bait (lane). All in ping is not the same as bait ping.
yo phreak if akshan is still a problem in your guys opinion you might wanna nerf his w cooldown in lategame so the problematic crit build gets a litlte bit weaker (stealth into rapid fire double hit full crit). dont make onhit akshan weaker by generally nerfing that champ :)
Can you please buff Elise in the jungle and reduce her ultimate CD to 1 sec when she has smite and jungle item? She has a higher win rate as a supporter. Elise has 46.25 win rate in challenger. I have gigantic win rate differences in the jungle with different champions.
Maybe consider doing patch follow-up videos after a day or two of data, instead of patch rundowns? That may be more interesting and rewarding (and possibly less time consuming)

Hey phreak, rakan is feeling pretty bad recently. What are the odds of some QoL changes for him? Personally would love if he got changes to push him away from building tank towards actually building AP like god (aurelion sol) intended 🙏🙏 All his abilities scale really well with AP but his passive, particularly it's cooldown and the 1 second cdr mechanic just feel really bad. It basically doesn't play together with your kit, if you do a full combo on someone you get 3-4 seconds reduced on it, which just feels terrible considering that it's cooldown is often thrice your normal rotations. And also a personal request, would love some more love for solo lane rakan. Thinking something like if he was able to activate his E on himself and it would grant him the shield, but it would make him unable to second cast. It would let him commit to a full engage much better.

Could you change Kennen's E so that it only gives MS if he's moving towards an enemy (similar to approach velocity) so that he could still do Kennen things in teamfights and trading in lane, but remove the MS and give him some sort of compensation like flat armor and MR (or shield?) based on his level, if he's not moving towards an enemy, i.e. running from a fight? It would be really nice if the resists would "ramp up" over a second while he's facing away from an enemy, but fall off completely as soon as Kennen faces a Champion, so a player wouldn't be able to get free tankiness in lane by micro managing his movement commands.
Kennen E is supposed to be a disengage tool, why would you remove the MS when moving away? Hes supposed to be a ninja that rapidly repositions. Not saying he's balanced, but that's not a good idea.

@prestonwestenbarger7557 yes, kennen needs to be able to cast all of his abilities while moving, thats the biggest change needed. If you wanted to, you could change it to where his e has increased MS towards targets effected by his passive, while retaining some MS as a default. Kennen is old and clunky and needs some updating to make him modern.
@Phreak Please revert rageblade. I peaked P4 last split on the SG server mainly playing top. I plan to do a mainly jg climb playing belveth and master yi. Bel doesn't have to build rageblade but Yi does. Now that ragebalde has AP it hurts yi so much. The passive has insane synergy with him but the AP has near 0 synergy except with his W (which I often use as an auto reset). Please change it back to when it gave crit, AD, and atk spd. Current rageblade passives are good, just make wraith's bonus on hit magic damage scale with crit. As I sometimes buildshiledbow on Yi. Can we have smth done about the atk spd cap? I can no longer fit berserkers into my Yi build. Please make it so that his ult at least break the atk spd cap. The rageblade rework has held me back from buying skins on him.

Hey Phreak. Im an Ekko Main and i hope you can look into Ekko for a moment. My boy has a 46% or so winrate in m+ and atm the highest pickrate midlaners m+ are all ekko counters. Hes kinda ok in jungle because you can avoid ur opponent and focus on ganks but in lane ekko is kinda weak rn and needs patching. i asked august on his stream and he said he agrees that hes weak but there are no plans to buff right now. im asking why?
Could you make it so that Fleet is not the by far optimal option on some adcs like Zeri and Vayne? I think the defensive 0 damage movespeed option being always optimal on the damage class is just stupid
You’re playing champions who are designed to kite, the rune that enhances your kiting will usually be the best option. Press the Attack is still fine on Vayne. It’s like 0.4% WR dif. That’s within the 2% error margin, he’s previously discussed. Press is actually probably better than Fleet on Vayne. By 1.4~% in the real world. Zeri I have no idea. Stop doing math. Play the game. Learn: Kiting, Peeling, Zoneing, CC layering, Tempo matching other lanes while pushing with Baron. There’s a lot more 98% of player need to be worried about. You are likely included in that 98%

Why is there an AS cap? It feels a bit strange having to just know your champion will overcap if I buy X items, and then redo the math if you have a lulu or ardent censor? Overcapping wasnt the end of the world with lethal tempo, and overcapping would come in a stage of the game where AS adcs are losing power compared to crit adcs.
I agree that AS cap actually doesn't feel like it has a practical purpose, but I think AS champs have outscaled crit champs ever since Guinsoo's could proc on-hits multiple times. Vayne/Kog/on-hit Varus/on-hit Kaisa will always outdamage crit marksmen lategame.

My guess is that Zyra is one of them. Choice of plants, placement of seeds and passive manipulation make her skill curve last for a long, long time. I played her for 12 years now and I still find ways to optimize every aspect of her kit. She can also build a ton of different items if you want to fulfill a different role and that changes the skill max order and runes by quite a bit. Anyone can just poke with her. But to get the maximum value from her takes so much experience. That's my opinion anyway.
I bet Hwei and Aphelios because of pure Skill numbers. Sylas and Viego are a given(You need to master 160 more spells). But the others i am unsure. You need to guess based on Skill ceiling(?), then most likely it would be Azir, Zeri, Riven, Nida, Kalista, Kata and then Ryze?
Azir was mentioned in a past patch rundown. I would guess Draven, Kalista, Hwei, Irelia, Yasuo, Thresh, and Nidalee are among those champions as well. Maybe K’Sante, Akali, Qiyana, and Jayce too? Idk

A lot of people pick up Gangplank because they like 'big boom', and the precision required makes him reasonable to play against and also satisfying to learn. I suspect Karthus should fall into this category of champion, but his Q's inconsistent delay makes him feel incredibly clunky and unsatisfying to learn. I'd imagine Karthus has more mains if this were addressed
Karthus Q has to be jank because of the CD.
He's also in fairly unique spot as a high DPS caster, Azir is the other one but also actually autos, so there's no reason to remove his unique space he fills.

Regarding the patch rundowns~ well, the previews talk about most everything in them, so I think its good that you take some time off there.
I think it might be worthwhile talking about if there are somewhat bigger differences between preview and actual patch, or something getting pulled for reasons beyond "needs more time to cook".
I'd definitely love to see some videos on topics beyond just the patchnotes.
Why is the most recommended rune on the right? We all read left to right, so why wouldn't the primary rune choice be on the far left?
Hearing about Kennen, I saw someone say to try throwing him bot lane and see how it goes. Would be interesting to see him as a bot lane focused flex champion. Maybe nerf his durability and his base cooldowns, and maybe turn toward a new spell-crit scaling or simply on-hit focus or something idk I'm a noob. I think that character looks a lot more dynamic in the bot lane and maybe can flex mid while weakening top since no one likes ranged top laners that excel at kiting melees. Idk.
Akali got gutted after the last nerf, interested to see what happens after the assassin changes.
Personally I really like the skirmisher Q playstyle of top Akali rather than being an E2 bot

That's true, but in his defence he did say he was designed as a jungler and didn't want him to be a pro-jail jungler and that his design succeeded with that. Typically tank jungles in pro are almost second supports that can manage on low gold to allow laners to be richer (things like maokai/sedj/poppy), so he added gold scaling to skarner to stop this being a thing. He then acknowledged it then made top a logical option because he gets more gold there, and they're nerfing it again

For karthus I feel like nerfing r or e is better because those are the two unskilled abilities. Q has a lot of skill expression in a fight trying to hit a target, especially when they have mobility. Maybe a jungle mod for q to nerf the dps only for camps would be better.

I firmly believe that Lethality on items should have reduced value on ranged champions (either 25% reduced effectiveness or 50% reduced effectiveness). That way AD assassins can have items that exist for them that can be in a good spot without the items being completely and easily abusable by ADCs like Cait and Jhin, as we have already seen how easily certain ADCs can break the game with Lethality builds.
Sure Quinn will be hurt by this, whom is one of my favorite champions in the game, but sacrifices are required for game health from time to time.
The issue is, Collector is firmly an ADC item now, so you can't try to sell them an item and say "this is nerfed on you btw", that's bad design.
You'd have to reduce specific outputs on each lethality item instead of a flat nerf.
Also Aphelios gains lethality as a level up stat, so it gets really weird with him.

As for Collector, they just need to remove the crit chance then boom, no longer an ADC item.
Honestly I'm of the opinion of removing Collector from the game entirely because giving every champion that builds it a free execute is stupid and unhealthy for the game as a whole, just like Duskblade was a stupid item that either gave every champion that build it invisibility or untargetability depending on the version.

Not sure if you read these, but I hope you guys would be willing to take bigger steps with this whole Gangplank thing, this is definitely a push in the right direction but his passive base damage is really weak in bruiser builds, you even added the crit scaling to that at the same time as the crit scaling for his E, wouldn't it make sense to adjust that as well? Since First Strike isn't good on him anymore, Q not counting as ranged would also make bruiser actually viable (Grasp) even if it makes Gangplank more of a lane bully. If we can't have ER sheen anymore, we should revert him back the way he was?
Personally love playing GP as a bruiser and always have, but since they made him a crit one shot assassin I haven't really been playing him at all. Agree with everything you said but I remember Phreak saying that they don't want GP to be pro jailed, which is why they removed his bruiser qualities.
If they make him a bruiser, they have to take away half his damage.

In terms of AD mids in pro play, the big three are Trist Corki and Yone followed by Jayce. Ezreal has one major region midlane pick all year (only Quid). Just wanted to point this out because Ezreal is firmly not in midlane meta right now while Yone is pretty apparent, especially in China.
Very happy to see the assassin change coming. I just wanna bring my idea about a special assassin shaco. Now ad shaco is not in a comfortable position, mainly because as an ad assassin, his W,E,R are magic damage and the value is pretty low(180+80% bonus ad in max e,8s cooldown flat), dealing around 200-300 at most after 15min. The main damage of AD shaco is from the Backstab Q, which requires lethality to amplify(because the ad scale is also not decent).
This put shaco in a dillema:
for lethality build, shaco cant get any value to amplify E damage, and unstable Q damage(require backstab, which is never 100%) cant make sure oneshot even in great lead;
for crit build, criting only improves backstab Q damage from 155% to 175%, 13% more damage but cost 1000 gold per 25% probability.
To solve the problem, riot have to give shaco a clearly prefered build path.
If lethality, make E damage adaptive so it benefit from building lethality, and make damage amplifier grows with losing health like lee sin Q but not a strict 30%health threshold like qiyana Q.
If crit, make backstab Q a simply critable bonus damage but not 155% crit which can be replaced by 175% real crit, then turn down the Q cooldown a little because crit path has no ability haste.
These are my ideas, I believe the change could be appreciated by every AD shaco otp.
By the way, I really wanna see AP assassin shaco build viable. Missing the S10 period where rocketbel+lich bane can still oneshot backline.
Tbh in current kit ,ap assassin shaco makes more sense than AD: reliable ability to cut in backline, executive magic single-targeted shiv, good way to leave combat R+W.
Phreak I get that cait was unfun as a late game oneshot machine but after her nerfs all her items and first strike got nerfed she feels seriously weak for a lane bully, if you wanted to push her into a more "standard" adc role of crit auto attacking maybe bring back the interaction between runaans and her passive? Or maybe make it give only 1 extra stack per auto for a pseudo 3 hit passive. Also it feels really inconsistent with what your headshot auto gets used on and not, I notice it with zyra plants for example use headshot and don't even deal extra damage, feels very bad idk if it's intentional or not. Anyways love the patch notes, honestly the game feels really good right now overall and pro is also super interesting too keep up the good work!
Her headshot auto is very consistent, it increases the damage of the auto it gets used on.
The zyra plant interaction isn't unintentional, her plants take modified damage from all sources, taking 4 damage(out of 8 health) for ranged attacks regardless of whether it's a Lvl 1 Karthus auto done through exhaust, or a 4th shot 6 item Jhin.
This was changed in V9.10 -Damage from basic attacks that doesn't trigger on-hit effects (ex. Corki's Hextech munitions, Miss Fortune's Love Tap, etc.) no longer deals a separate instance of damage to her plants
Caitlyn's headshot damage doesn't proc a seperate series of on hit, so it is counted as bring the same damage instance as the basic attack it is modifying.
I think Cait headshot is never meant to be used on Zara plants.
SO! I think it would be nice, if Cait headshot did an extra tick(or2) of damage to Zyra plant. In the unfortunate event in which a players accidentally uses it on a plant.

I understand wanting to make assassins more fun in the laning phase because I've played a lot of assassin mid over the years, and when you play something like Katarina or Fizz, you're kind of just playing to conserve as much health as possible for the possibility of a jungle gank or roam, like a juggernaut against a ranged top, needing to watch minions die without farming and generally just avoiding interaction with the opponent.
So I can see the viewpoint of wanting to make this a little less painful and think it could be interesting, but the problem is that assassins have this weak laning phase because of their designs being maxed into mobility and damage at the cost of range and survivability, meaning it's not really intentional that they are weak, but rather a byproduct of the fact that range is far more important in the laning phase due to various factors like lack of early sustain, lack of damage for kill potential on all-ins, needing to CS and it being a lot harder than just using a single Q on the wave, minions being more of a threat, autos being more impactful and allowing a ranged champion to run you down after you all in, etc..., with mobility naturally out scaling it as the game progresses due to range's advantages being less important in the mid-to-late scenarios.
And because of this, I fear a generic solution like better innate sustain, higher base damage, higher base MR, etc... (like the electrocute changes), instead of considering the reasons they are weak in the first place and changing them accordingly, will result in another durability update type of situation.
Perhaps if we gave them more survivability for the compensation of taking away mobility (like 250 range or roughly 25%~ of their threat range), it would create a situation where you actually need to get caught by the assassin who played well, rather than them dashing across the lane with an 825 range dash (diana E) that out ranges a lot of mage's poke, resulting in a stat-check situation. This would also mean in the late game they can keep their high damage one shot playstyles, just with more positioning needed similar to a control mage or enchanter, lest they get blown up trying to walk into range for a pick.

Suggestion for making top lane more friendly for melee vs. ranged: Increase the turret range by maybe 50 units. The most frustrating part about playing melee into ranged is not even being able to CS under your turret without being harassed. Maybe there's issues with this change but wanted to bring it up.

This impression that the League team DOES NOT CARE about the champs they release, they just throw it at the game and "whatever". Right after some champs get a love treatment on the attempt to make them viable and not broken, like K'sante or Zeri , which is frustrating to see the effort putted on those champs when there is Smolder who had been loved for many at release and hated right after, when picking the champ was seeing as throwing people where reporting just for picking a champ, bad mouthed for liking a champ and playing it on its intended roll, doing the best you can with the champ you loved. Smolder , the gameplay plan of "overpower on late game", the "time bomb" champ just like Aurelion Sol and Veigar but as an ADC , it was perfect and now it's very sad Phreak. I see that you try hard and work hard and i love your approach on the community and I'm very grateful, but *releasing a champ and doing what was done to Smolder, is revolting at the least*, should be shameful that your community expects you to act as you once did to Zeri when she got gutted once. It saddens me that Smolder is likely to just be forgotten, and the League team looks like they couldn't care less to their newest champ.
Issues of facing Skarner Top and some proposals how to fix it:
1) Perma zoning with boulders (at level 9 - without AH - the down time is 2 seconds if he delays and people do delay).
2) Perma slows so you cant even fight back
3) Ungankabable - he can just E the hell out thru walls
4) Undivable
5) Doesnt need to dive or rather can force you out of yours turret safety
6) Insane gank prep
7) Waveclear (even tho not insane) is way to good for all the qualities he already has
8) Can farm from safety
8) Fairly high econ champ building fairly low econ Tank items causing this strange situation of outpacing anyone with the same gold (even if he is behind it legit feels like he is ahead)
In all honesty the way how Skarner is designed it legit feels like he is a perfect laner. No weaknesses at all and all that while also being able to scale fairly well. The only way Skarner ever dies in lane is when he does a series of mistakes (basically blowing all his cooldowns at once while missing everything).
For me personally the 2 things that really feel and are unfair are point 1 and 2 from the list above which is why I think that Q cooldown should start refreshing after he drops the boulder to give opponents an actual time window when they can at least consider fighting him and his W should lose its slow, damage or shield (personally I would remove the shield simply because often it overlaps anyway with Fimbulwinters shield proc on slows at the later stages of the game). Not sure if thats enough, but this would be a good start to make him a little bit less miserable to face.
I feel like the only weakness in Akali is her lacking a bit of maneuverability in her W. Maybe give her flat 15ms and ghosting while invisible, and reduce the decaying ms%. Thoughts??
Please make Qiyana be able to punish mistakes in lane and snowball , like she used to do. Above high dia/low master you just autolose lane to 99% of midlaners if you pick this champ and it leads to really boring laning phase and overrelying on your teammates and having no agency.

"Lane Bully" is the worst archetype in the game. When outplaying a lane bully involves not fighting them because they are designed to win it is not fun.
Thought I agreed at first read, but then thought some more. Would like to weigh in here-
It might not be fun for you, but I can see winning later in the game by “default” due to earlier decision-making possibly being fun for others. After all, in some games the best thing you can do for your team is not feed, which in the case of lane bully matchups is literally what the enemy’s “win” condition translates to.
Probably has a lot to do with differences in receptiveness to instant and delayed gratification as well, but I just thought the perspective was interesting.
It's not really an archetype, it's a large chunk of the roster, and this isn't a fighting game, after all, it's a moba where all champs get stronger over the course of the game and have to contend with different situations over the course of the game. Champs are going to have different shapes to their power curves and kits that are better suited to different situations.
The other day in my recommended I saw a video titled "the most hated man in League of Legends" and I'm like what??? personally my opinion of Phreak only *increased* since he got hired on the SR team and gave us these patch analysis videos with loads and loads of explanations and insider context.

Hey Phreak, what’s the verdict on the changes to Navori? I feel like every adc prefers the old Navori that had AD and the only champion that likes the new Navori is Voli. Is there anyway we could get the old Navori back or if we keep the new Navori, change it away from a marksmen item to a fighter item and balance it as such.
I think the main issue for Adcs with current Navori is there's not a great item path with it because ER is doo doo. They should give ER Navori's old impermanence passive. And make a new AD+Sheen+Crit item.
Because AD caster DPS options suck... Collector is an AD caster burst option that happens to have crit. It doesn't really work great for a total build path that'd include Navori Flicker blades. Same with opportunity.
Which is the issue. Not that it's entirely bad for Adcs. Just it doesn't fit in any actually existing builds. Because ER sucks, and no crit sheen sucks.

Aatrox changes are good in concept, but he seems moderately worse in high Elo and similar in low Elo. He shouldn't have worst in class regen values even at level 18 aside from Briar or Rek'sai when he can basically only heal in champion combat, and his W has been less than completely functional since the "bugfix".
Aatrox passive can heal him off creep wave, and jungle monsters.
Also I think you’re expecting Aatrox to win 100% of games if played “Perfectly”

I'm expecting Aatrox to not have worst in class regen beyond the early game, which is what he's had for almost five years before 14.12. The only time he has had worse regen than now is when he healed on damage to minions from E, and only by mid game at that.
33:49 so stripping Kog Q attack speed with proper adjustments(not nerfs) would be biggest Kog change since the Machine Gun revert, hopefully Riot looks at this champ properly, because he was once a Hypercarry champ that a strategy named after him. Currently he is very strong early game champ, that peaks at mid-game and falls of at late, he clearly lost his identity in modern League, so hopefully a more through changelist happens for him.

So an idea for Kennen, if he's always a menace to top laners, have you considered moving him out of Top lane entirely? Maybe even out of solo lanes in general? Maybe shift him to a bot lane role, ADC has always been a low champ pool role, and he could easily find a niche as a manaless caster. Maybe add some passive interaction similar to Kalista that can incentivize having an ally also hit the opponent? Idk, just an idea.

As for Karthus, I'm not sure I think he's *that* overtuned. He's super weak to invades, but the majority of players don't counter jungle, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's primarily picked with team comps with winning lanes who can rotate to cover him in case the enemy jungler attempts to go for a duel.
If those assumptions are correct, then Karthus isn't actually very overpowered - he's simply being used in a similar fashion to Rammus, where the circumstances around when he's picked dictate whether he's good or bad. I don't think Karthus have no counters, much like I don't believe Rammus has no counters.
Also I'm pretty sure Fiddle and Ivern's optimized clears are faster than Karthus by a decent margin?

I understand Smolder is in a much better spot and it might be a bit scary to touch him, but itemization on him still feels horrible. Is there any way he can get changes similar to GP to reinforce his bruiser build or make his autos do something with his kit so he wants to build crit?
They don't want bruiser smolder to exist and have said they'll actively make sure it doesn't.
He's a caster adc with a big range and a wall hop. I loved abusing tank/bruiser smolder, but I agree it's not okay for it to be a viable build on him for game health.
I agree for what it's worth, buying items on him at the moment is super weird, he needs heavier crit incentives, like Sivir and Xayah.
@@Bladius_ His crit incentives are not bad at all, and you will generally reach at least 75% crit chance by full build. He gets as much % damage on Q (+ passive) from crit chance as he does on auto attacks. He also greatly benefits from ER, but only RFC, Shieldbow, and LDR are obvious purchases afterwards. Furthermore, you don't like the AS from RFC, Shieldbow is a situational item that is weak early, and LDR is less effective on Smolder because he deals mixed damage. ER -> Shojin -> RFC -> LDR -> Shieldbow or something similar is already an extremely viable build, but he lacks choice within the crit item system.
While I think removing the crit scaling on E was strange in retrospect (it is worse at nearly every stage of the game now, and they don't want him to be able to ignore crit items), adding even more crit scaling on his damage doesn't fix the issue as far as it exists. He needs better incentives to auto attack, so he feels good about building PD, IE, etc., or crit items need to be updated yet again so he has real items that fit his playstyle like old ER and Navori did.
Any outlook on olaf? Between the nerfs and ghost nerfs, hes not been doing so hot in elos below masters (according to lolalytics at least). Still wonder how a champ like olaf ends up high elo skewed.
I don't think he's as easy as he seems, and being immune to peel probably isn't as valuable in low Elo because enemies will already have poor positioning and coordination. The biggest reason is likely that he's one of the most early game skewed champions in the game, and he can easily take over games if you play aggressively in lane and close out games before he starts to fall off. Champions like Tryndamere, Darius, and Olaf have historically always been high Elo skewed despite their apparent simplicity and reputation as noob stompers.

Please don't change the survivability of akali, it is legit the only thing she has that makes her usable in solo queue.
If you remove her survivability she has nothing to deal with mage's poke and even if you buff her early damage numbers she will not be able to become a lane bully in mid. This goes for other assassins as well, assassin's aren't bad because they have no damage they are bad because the mages out perform them in everything.
They have better wave clear so it's easier for them to play for tempo, they can harass assassins out of lane (yes even akali can be harassed out of lane if the enemy mid is good), they do just as much burst but from a safer distance, and they also scale well into late game. They have one point where the assassin can contest them and that is mid game. If you remove survivability for damage then assassins will not be able to access any gold till 6, unless they are graced by a good jungle.
Akali specifically is more likely to become a lane bully top than it is mid.

yo phreak if akshan is still a problem in your guys opinion you might wanna nerf his w cooldown in lategame so the problematic crit build gets a litlte bit weaker (stealth into rapid fire double hit full crit).
dont make onhit akshan weaker by generally nerfing that champ :)

She has a higher win rate as a supporter.
Elise has 46.25 win rate in challenger.
I have gigantic win rate differences in the jungle with different champions.
Maybe consider doing patch follow-up videos after a day or two of data, instead of patch rundowns? That may be more interesting and rewarding (and possibly less time consuming)

Hey phreak, rakan is feeling pretty bad recently. What are the odds of some QoL changes for him? Personally would love if he got changes to push him away from building tank towards actually building AP like god (aurelion sol) intended 🙏🙏
All his abilities scale really well with AP but his passive, particularly it's cooldown and the 1 second cdr mechanic just feel really bad. It basically doesn't play together with your kit, if you do a full combo on someone you get 3-4 seconds reduced on it, which just feels terrible considering that it's cooldown is often thrice your normal rotations.
And also a personal request, would love some more love for solo lane rakan. Thinking something like if he was able to activate his E on himself and it would grant him the shield, but it would make him unable to second cast. It would let him commit to a full engage much better.

Could you change Kennen's E so that it only gives MS if he's moving towards an enemy (similar to approach velocity) so that he could still do Kennen things in teamfights and trading in lane, but remove the MS and give him some sort of compensation like flat armor and MR (or shield?) based on his level, if he's not moving towards an enemy, i.e. running from a fight?
It would be really nice if the resists would "ramp up" over a second while he's facing away from an enemy, but fall off completely as soon as Kennen faces a Champion, so a player wouldn't be able to get free tankiness in lane by micro managing his movement commands.
Kennen E is supposed to be a disengage tool, why would you remove the MS when moving away? Hes supposed to be a ninja that rapidly repositions.
Not saying he's balanced, but that's not a good idea.

And right before he mentioned ganks/diving isn't a threat to Kennen because of his E. So my proposed change would allow him to still engage with E + Rocketbelt + R while giving his laning counterplay.

@prestonwestenbarger7557 yes, kennen needs to be able to cast all of his abilities while moving, thats the biggest change needed.
If you wanted to, you could change it to where his e has increased MS towards targets effected by his passive, while retaining some MS as a default.
Kennen is old and clunky and needs some updating to make him modern.

@Phreak Please revert rageblade. I peaked P4 last split on the SG server mainly playing top. I plan to do a mainly jg climb playing belveth and master yi. Bel doesn't have to build rageblade but Yi does. Now that ragebalde has AP it hurts yi so much. The passive has insane synergy with him but the AP has near 0 synergy except with his W (which I often use as an auto reset). Please change it back to when it gave crit, AD, and atk spd. Current rageblade passives are good, just make wraith's bonus on hit magic damage scale with crit. As I sometimes buildshiledbow on Yi. Can we have smth done about the atk spd cap? I can no longer fit berserkers into my Yi build. Please make it so that his ult at least break the atk spd cap. The rageblade rework has held me back from buying skins on him.

Hey Phreak. Im an Ekko Main and i hope you can look into Ekko for a moment. My boy has a 46% or so winrate in m+ and atm the highest pickrate midlaners m+ are all ekko counters.
Hes kinda ok in jungle because you can avoid ur opponent and focus on ganks but in lane ekko is kinda weak rn and needs patching. i asked august on his stream and he said he agrees that hes weak but there are no plans to buff right now. im asking why?

Could you make it so that Fleet is not the by far optimal option on some adcs like Zeri and Vayne? I think the defensive 0 damage movespeed option being always optimal on the damage class is just stupid
You’re playing champions who are designed to kite, the rune that enhances your kiting will usually be the best option.
Press the Attack is still fine on Vayne.
It’s like 0.4% WR dif.
That’s within the 2% error margin, he’s previously discussed.
Press is actually probably better than Fleet on Vayne.
By 1.4~% in the real world.

Play the game.
Learn: Kiting, Peeling, Zoneing, CC layering, Tempo matching other lanes while pushing with Baron.
There’s a lot more 98% of player need to be worried about.

@@EpicDBagger Yeah I still take PtA on Zeri even though it's way worse and I don't blame my misplays on that, I just dislike feeling like I'm griefing my team just because the ADC keystone I personally like taking happens to be worse than the boring one

Why is there an AS cap? It feels a bit strange having to just know your champion will overcap if I buy X items, and then redo the math if you have a lulu or ardent censor? Overcapping wasnt the end of the world with lethal tempo, and overcapping would come in a stage of the game where AS adcs are losing power compared to crit adcs.
I agree that AS cap actually doesn't feel like it has a practical purpose, but I think AS champs have outscaled crit champs ever since Guinsoo's could proc on-hits multiple times. Vayne/Kog/on-hit Varus/on-hit Kaisa will always outdamage crit marksmen lategame.
as caps make a lot of sense for champions like vayne, kaisa and kog since they have on hit passive that deal %health damage, especially vaynes true damage I think it makes sense for instance
