Love these videos, great analytical breakdowns of what happened, in a format that's 100x better than anything camera angles can deliver on in OW right now!
Thanks
fan-f*&^-ing tastic! 100% agree, subbed. I really beleive that making the watching/breakdown easier with maybe more observer friendly maps they might have a chance of making a real watchable sport
Crazy to think one simple mistake with the ice wall cost them so much time.
TheGiantBunnysaid Knowing how to exploit those mistakes as a team is what pro play is all about. :)
This is what makes OW so different from other esports I think. Even 1 ability/kit (not even an ult) whiff can destroy you so much. Extremely punishing. Especially against a team like EnVy or the top Koreans.
true but that honestly isn't specific to ow
Stuff like this is amazing, especially for people who are new to the esports scene. Keep it up!
Thanks so much - we will!
Totally right as a Esports noob. I look forward to these great breakdowns.
Please do This was an amazing coverage and explaination of tactics
Or people who don't understand stratagy and tactics. Something which I try to point out to people I play with but usually just get called bad and ignored... At least this is a respectable source with great visuals outlining the things I've known for a long time.
Joshua Matthews I used to watch hours upon hours of old call of duty tournaments 4-5 years ago but that's about it. These videos are super helpful
This is what esports needs to be taken seriously. Some traditional sports fans don't even watch the actual games but instead watch the recap of highlights and analysis the day after.
Andrew McKelvey yeah, it's because I actually have a life and don't wanna waste my time.
Cristine Collins sorry for having a hobby.
Cristine Collins stay calm buddy
Hate to break it to you but the focus on Esports is why Overwatch is losing popularity at a community level. The more you balance around Esports you pretty much deny a majority of your playerbase.
i feel like blizzard does a good job at keeping casuals interested. I should know, I am one.
The quality on these is so freakin amazing, keep it up!
Thanks so much!
Should have done one when South Korea used Junkrat against Austria before his buff
Execute
Your damn execute icon give me so much Vanilla nostalgia, idk why... Maybe the super low quality haahah
Zade throwback to vanilla the good ol' days nothing will beat the feeling of the warrior 1 shot
Kungarna: Sector is clear
"FIRE IN THE HOLE"
Kungarna: Not clear _NOT CLEAR!!_
*Destroys Tire*
K: Ok...We're go-
"HAMMER DOWN"
This was the best produced analysis video I've ever seen. Expect "Your Overwatch" to steal this content.
nah thats too much effort for them, they will continue to do 'meta discussion' videos which is just them rambling on for 40 minutes for that easy youtube money
Chat Sh*t Get Gaming their Soldier 76 is a support video was the last straw for me.
lol wtf your overwatch has already done pro play breakdows before. It may not been as visually nice as this one tho, they still get the point across pretty well.
Your production value is incredible. I absolutely love it.
Keep doing what you do.
Definitely, thanks for watching :)
Absolutely amazing work. Visuals and examples were spot on. Heck, I would say this is better than the official analysis that LoL esport produces, which is amazing when you consider that Overwatch is an fps game. You definitely are going to get more subs.
davidiswhat I
The editing in this was phenomenal, even if I didn't play Overwatch, I feel like I would still be able to understand what was going on in the video because of the editing & clear explanation, keep these coming! :D
Hey man! Love your vids.
The real hero of Envyus was that Mei. As soon as she missed that Ice Wall...well yeah.
Was waiting so long for another one of these. They're so good. The only analysis videos I'd ever watch on any eSport.
Thanks so much for your patience!
Such a high-quality video. Thank you so much for the analysis and breakdown of this play.
Thanks for your support!
Amazing video!
Great Video
No wonder I can't get out of Diamond.
rioluking my game sense and knowledge can't be compared to this
Well, us ladder players are pretty much "casual" compared to these pros. You shouldn't compare the gamesense in this level of competition which is basically helped by the teamwork of all 6 players to ladder games. Being in the top 15% of the playerbase is already pretty good in and of itself, as long you don't get there by exploiting the performance based SR with niche one tricks.
安心院 - Anshin'in I agree with most of what you said till you fed bullshit about one tricks. The system doesn't favour one tricks for bullshit reasons, a bad player is still just a bad player.
Im stuck in master please help me
Lurking Anonymously these guys play the game at least 12 hours a day, it’s basically their job :)
Love the narrators says on kungarna "Kings" (as a Swedish speaking)
Highest quality overwatch series
rip old nv
This is 100x better than Stylosa's ProOveranalysed because you go super in depth
TheGreedyYT stylosas a pile of shit
I think it is a brilliant technique for explaining smthing in depth, but if you want to do more for more people you need to downgrade. I'd say, like the players are adapting ingame, they do it for their videos. However, this video is godlike xd
EVERYBODY IN to EVERYBODY OUT that got me laughing hard haha
Sylosa fans: sty is so helpful I'm climbing so much
Blitz: hold my bear
ha if you see envy and dallas fuel you see two different teams
Please post more of these, they are so well edited and the camera angles are perfect. I love the little player icons on the map when you call out a push or a hold. Amazing work, got my sub
Holy shit this is such a great video. Showing how and why they do what they do. They difference in team dps at short and long ranges. The overhead team placements. Amazing stuff man. Glad this popped up for me. Subbed.
A true junkrat main would know his grenades are not just for close-quarter they can be used for spamming down chokes aerial denial is her name Scooby-Doo and done for a one shot combo with anybody under 300 health Ritz through Scheels like no tomorrow is Rip Tire does 600 damage killing everything unless blocked off by Shield orphanet a boost for the damage resistance
U said Kungarna wrong :P
Its Kings in swedish
“Junkrat isn’t used very much in pro play”... Oh how the times have changed.
Vote for the greatest overwatch video of all time.
This analysis is amazing
I have a feeling this channel will make a killing when OWL starts and picks up steam
Nice :D
they should have utilized a different route instead of staying at front door
Answer to title:
Obviously by pressing and holding the fire button.
(I didn't even watch the video so I decided to do a shitstorm!)
FinnishGuy47 quite the half of this video
Unfortunately, the video skips Taimou camping spawn with the rip tire and disrespecting babybay. I think the summary overemphasizes strategy and glosses over Taimou's pure mechanics.
This was so well made. You earned my sub.
And now it's ironic that the current team NV (Dallas Fuel) Used to same strat they countered to a pretty high EFFECT.
One word:
Subbed
Good essay ;)
Quality is amazing. Please, get in touch with media pros. You should be paid for this.
You could just say that it's a tier 1 team against a tier 4 team. Kungarna is literally 5 masters and babybay
Jonathan D bischu and Iremix are decent but the rest are all masters
Whaaaaaat? This is one of the best analysis of a game I've ever seen! The quality and effort put into this video is so good. This channel is so underrated, it's unfair.
Babybay's whif caused them to lose that
You must have spent a lot of time into this because this is fucking amazing content. You got a sub!
Prime of overwatch
Fuck man, I thought I was pretty decent at Overwatch, but this shit is like military general strategy level shit. I know at the very minimum a good deal of it was intentional, but I can't help but wonder if some of it just happened to fall into place (i.e. Junkrat's ult, leading to Reinhardt's ult)
I play junkrat quite frequently, and he's my favorite character. I have made some clutches and even team kills on five health, and managed to live. I got my ult 3 times in 2 minutes, and lets say I got more than a couple kills 😂😂
This has amazing quality, thank you for your hard work.
Lmao Kungarna fortnite clan lmaooooo
"Junkrat isn't played much because of his grenades." - This guy in 2017. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Fantastic video. But when mentioning team names in general, please use singular, as that's how the English language works for some reason. Yes, you're talking about multiple people, but the people are in a single group. That is why. "Kungarna has" instead of have. Stuff like that. Doing this would increase the quality further, perfecting these videos. Keep it up
The quality of this is beyond fathomable
Incredible analysis and great editing!
You really butchered the pronunciation of Kungarna, but that's ok. 😸
Wow, amazing amazing analysis and video. Props to the editor but you all nailed it. Exactly the kind of content we need for overwatch league recaps
Holy shit, Overwatch Leage NEEDS to hire you! This was so good! Kept me intrigued the while time.
Excellent video and Great to see Junkrat get Pro action. Any Junkrat players out there?
Btw this gets me more excited for Esports.
omg this analysis was super good!
Quick, detailed, very understandable, well illustrated, and not with someone screaming in my earholes!
Well Done! You didnt try to hit the 10min video mark with nonsense.. You went straight to the point and very analytical with the approach.. I love it!
ive never watched competitive strategy videos like this before but damn its interesting. like a fuckin drama show! xD
Just to give you at tip, the name "Kungarna" translates to The Kings in Swedish. In Sweden "ng" in words is almost as you said it but without the g sound in the end. But great job as always and I really enjoy your videos!
This is like an ESPN analitics segment of Overwatch
This is good OverWatch content lol better than "OverWatch Moments Daily" they just steal clips and post it lul
Incredible editing, presentation and analysis! Great work.
Crazy how envyus went from this to trash in owl
can someone tell me the background music?
Watching this I realize something that would have been an okay move to do possibly if played right... a flanking pharah to the balcony on the side
Goddamn AMAZINGLY well done video and analysis.
SO much effort put into the editing
Mei's botched ice wall was what lost it for Kangarna. Skilled play on Envy's part still counts for a lot, but the ice wall was the clear linchpin.
Reaper seems like a high-risk/high-reward pick.
Different team comp on Kangarna's part could have saved the match. I know, 20/20 hindsight and all. Knowing you're going into a map with a choke point should influence your comp, though. Mobility (playing around the choke) or a triple tank combo to absorb the damage and bull through. Boring, but practical.
What a insane breakdown . amazing quality . more please!
LOL you put every Overwatch analysis to shame in a single video,,, you are the no.1 ive ever seen, insane video, perfect breakdown, please continue making, legendary bro absolutely legendary QUALITY , Respect
Wow, Amazing video. Now I really understand the plan from the team. It was perfectly explained and the graphics were showing you the scene perfectly. Amazing work 👍 👍
Just wanted to say AMAZING video! Great analysis, video structure. Everything about this video was perfect 👌 Earned a sub by the 5 minute mark!
This is in my recommended? I thought overwatch was dead
I'm only high plat/low. Diamond, and even I know if they're holding King of the hill that hard, you should switch the team comp. Get a tracer, maybe a sombra. Maybe a hog to grab an occasional enemy from the choke they're holding. It's happened to me several times and almost always my entire team realizes we have to switch shit up. How in the world did a pro team not change their comp lol. Just seems unbelievable they wouldn't change things quickly. For instance, if a hog could quickly kill the McCree, a pharah could've put in serious work. I just don't understand why they didn't change it up
Great video, great analysis, really good for learning how to play junkrat and what good positioning is
PLEASE DO MOREE, RECOMMENDATION... LUNATIC HAI VS GC BUSCAN.
I like the video... I don't bother to learn anything... But I still enjoy it...
-Sector is clear...
-FIREINTHEHOLE
-NOT CLEAR NOT CLEAR!!!
Please make more videos like this. The amount of effort put into these videos is crazy.
Predictable play from Kung. Repeating same tactics just hoping to brute force their way in. No wonder they lost
killerqueer To be fair, when the only entrance is a narrow doorway, brute forcing is the only way to go.
And that is what sets the pros from everyone else
Holy shit, I've never put this much thought into it before. At least not in regards to the map
Though you described Taimou's use of his ult very cleanly and clearly, I can only imagine it as some sort of Monty Python type mayhem for Kungarna. "Everyone get on the point!" *Rip-Tire intensifies* "Everyone out of the choke!"
More tactics videos please!! Love this along with the last sombra analysis!
EnvyUs turned from this perfection into the 0-4 losing streak known as Dallas Fuel. RIP the perfect team, you shall be remembered ;(
There are 3 entrances to get past that initial spawn choke. There's the right side which you'll need some airborne mobility, but there is also the stairs on the left (if you're coming from Kungarna's spawn). In matchmaking splitting off (not deathballing through a choke all at once) gets much better results. I'm not sure how pro teams would feel about splitting their team, but against a Junkrat I think that is the correct answer.
The best comparison I think is on Numbani 1st point defense: there is the high ground with the really small choke, and I've seen many teams in matchmaking try to cluster up and push through there against a Junkrat, or Bastion. Just don't! Just don't use that choke. I'll call it out to my teams and now a days I see less people trying to use that. There are many routes to the point, and that is the main objective: the point.
If Kungarna had used more mobility to get Envyus off the choke they probably could've forced Taimou to switch. As with the initial breakdown, Junkrat is not picked often because of his harrowing weakness in areas where enemies can dodge his grenades. I was not a fan of the triple tank into Junkrat, which to me looks they were only countering themselves.
Of course, there was the initial Mei whiff on the Ice Wall which was very costly. A mechanical mistake, which is easier to recognize.
Great video as well, I often don't watch pro games because of the spectating system. This was enjoyable to see the tactics they used more clearly.
First time watching one of your videos, nice animation! Look forward to more.
You know, it’s weird to think that the plan team Envy used wouldn’t have worked against a bunch of noobs. Sticking together isn’t always useful against a team that doesn’t know it should do the same. Someone would be on the right, the middle, the left, above... a complete lack of coordination is hard for a Junkrat to exploit. I think. Maybe.
There is 2 ways to counter the trap strat. 1 you could go on the very outside which avoids it. 2 destroy the trap and go through main
wonderful video wow! i thought this channel was huge, get this man subscribers RIGHT NOW
As a huge fan of overwatch this was like Christmas for me this video lol SO SO WELL DONE it was amazing man amazing explanation
I have so much respect for the quality and time put into this video, well done!
Great video! Analytical and clear explained.
Note that he never used the mine for 'mobility' (aka, the excuse for the buff). :)
I really like this analysis format.
But for the love of god - EACH TEAM HAS MORE THAN ONE MEMBER.
The editing is awesome. This is seriously way better than just talking about it while showing gameplay in the background. And it's WAY better than stock video. Thanks for the effort, this was awesome!
Amazingly well done video! Love it! Kungarna is pronounced k (short k)-u (as if you say the u stand alone) -ngarna. Kungarna means kings in swedish but they didnt really show it this game.
how have I not seen your videos before? Your analysis and graphics are absolutely fantastic. This isn't empty content, it's meaty and eye opening. Good work, keep it up.
I copied what envy did with my 5 friends
THING WORKED
The thing I'm happy about was that this wasn't a mirror match of the same heroes like dive meta was
I don't like how everyone thinks junk is only good in close quarters with limited space. Yes granted that's where he really shines but Junk is so much more useful than that. I love when people tell me that junk is just spam shots. You couldn't be more wrong. He's super helpful in figuring out team battles when to push and when to back up. He can cover flanks really well and be able to get behind and create a distraction. I would love to see junk used more in league plays. In team fights I would much rather have a junk behind me than any other dps.
