Jaby the baba siddiqui joke- salman and shahrukh used to be close friends but had a falling out at a party many years ago, and did not speak to each other, bollywood was basically divided into salman and shahrukh camps, a couple of years ago at a party hosted by baba siddiqui salman went upto shahrukh and they both hugged, this became huge news and baba siddiqui was credited as the mediator of their friendship.

Srk is the most well-read and smart actor in india. He gives lectures in yale. He could talk on any issue from a hairpin to world economy with you.
What's special is that he is self aware -- he will happily talk to your about the world economy but he wont make it seem like he is any sort of expert about it

Jaby, I can tell you from personal experience as someone who met him multiple times in a professional setting when I was working in the Bollywood music industry, SRK is definitely much more introspective when he's in smaller groups and in private. He's still witty and charismatic, but not to the extent he is in the podcast, which is definitely a bit more of a performance.

I like how you drew the comparison of Robin Williams and Shah Rukh. If you're interested in an in depth look on Shah Rukh when he is not 'entertaining somebody', there is a documentary on his life off camera called The Inner World of Shah Rukh Khan. He basically admits to being a loner and and a little more brooding than he lets on, and how his parents passing still affects him.

You are so right. SRK is super witty but at the same time he has those lonely nights where he finds himself alone. Also, SRK is a genuine machine. He works for like 18-20 hours a day. Unmatched energy and that's where he finds time for his off bollywood thing.

Loved the video. That was a great review. I totally agree with you that it is really stupid when people say that you are doing this for numbers. Well, so what,???It's not a bad thing at all. How does it matter if you do it for numbers or not? UA-cam is a place where you can freely express yourself through your content. Have been watching your videos for quite some time, and if anyone like me has seen your videos, it's pretty evident you are a fan of India and its culture. I feel that whatever you guys are doing is great and I am not sure of the numbers, but there are a lot of Indians who love to see your content. It really feels great to see that people take the time to watch Indian movies and Indian Comedy even though you might not understand it completely. Just a thank you note from a fan for creating awesome videos. Now it has become a thing for me that whenever AIB/TVF or any of the trailer releases, I make sure to check on your page to see for any reaction video.

I think one reason is that people who like someone or something do not always react with a comment but when they don't like they go and express it. And I know that end of the day its more like how many likes and what comments you have to check that you are going good, this could be one of the ways to look at it and not being sad or something. one thing i admire lot about shahrukh khan among all other stars is his public speaking capability... he is very good at public speaking... its not like he is big star now so he has developed such skill, there are interviews of his early phase of life when he was not that big, even then, he had the same attitude... he was born to become huge... he is gold medalist in his masters... his love story is also quite interesting.. in short i feel he was destiny's child... :) not a big fan of him as an artist though but a fan of his personality...

I'm not a very big fan of Shah Rukh Khan but after watching this podcast back then i started liking him as an actor and a human being.
The advice given to SRK by Amitabh Bachchan about apologizing right away if he does something wrong or if someone thinks he did something wrong. SRK is so so funny, SRK and Akki (Akshay Kumar) having amazing personalities and are spontaneously funny and do it sarcastically.
