dancers from all genres often explore styles outside of their own...i've seen janette do lyrical solos on youtube - just in the same vein that classical musicians also play bluegrass, fiddle, or jazz. it just makes you that much better! plus i think when you're as into what you do as these people are, there's that natural desire to branch out.
