trying to find option between plow or pusher for my property. I have a 40 degree slope driveway but need to bring 1300lb bales to my cattle in the winter and last year snow almost made that impossible. can't justify spending $2-3k on either and started looking up options... I just want you to know, I plan to build per your design with larger sides. I can't thank you enough for the design and detail you have shared. I'm beyond excited to build and save thousands!!! thankyou again so much!
Plow looks great! Where did you get the metal part that clips over the lip edge on the back of the tractor bucket ? Is that a part you can buy or did you have to weld that part ?
Does anyone know what the metal bracket that grasps the back edge of the bucket is called? I'm guessing from all the questions but non responses the guy isn't very helpful. It appears maybe he bent the metal himself then?? Surely they must make edge brackets like this somewhere??!! Anyone??
I have a 275 gallon oil drum cut down for a snow bucket on my Kubota... it is 5 feet wide and when it gets full it spill snow out of the edges... I was thinking of doing the very same thing as you have done... only try to make up some sort of angling for it... I have a very wide driveway and it is about 125 feel long.. . and it takes a while to clean it up after a storm.

Very nice! What angle did you cut the 2x4 on the bottom ?
I tried to match the same angle of the lower horizontal surface of the bucket. Probable five or ten degrees.
Best one I have seen

The metal bracket that grasps the back edge of the bucket is just a bent piece of metal welded to an eye-bolt.

Hi L H,
The metal bracket that grasps the back edge of the bucket is just a bent piece of metal welded to an eye-bolt.
Good one
Great job!! The wood I've got but where did you come across the rubber at?
Rubber is better for blacktop and steep driveway
