Thank you for your kind compliment, we are delighted that you are happy with the contents of this channel. You may like to further read up on late Admiral Pereira with two books available on Amazon, namely: The Admiral I knew by Brig Mike Bhalla & With Pride & Honour by Cdr Anup Thomas, which incidentally is also a navy released publication/ book.
Thanks for these photographs. It makes me nostalgic. My father served in the Indian Navy for 34 years and retired as a Commodore. Thus, after having grown up in this lovely fraternity makes me long for photographs/videos. I'm grateful you uploaded these. My compliments to you and the efforts behind manning this UA-cam channel. I had two questions: 1. At 02:33, is that Capt. MN Mulla, MVC (Posthumous) kneeling on the left? 2. At 02:40, one can see Cdr. and Mrs. Nanavati, but is that Adm Pereira on the left? Were Adm. Pereira and Cdr. Nanavati friends? Thank you in advance! :)
Thank you for the kind words of appreciation. Those indeed were special times and this video is one such small tribute to navy’s forebears who endowed the service with a rich legacy. I can respond with a fare sense of confidence when saying that was indeed Capt Mulla, as well as, V Adm JTG Pereira and Cdr Nanavati. And yes, these officers were good friends. Hope this helps
