Very nice just finished cleaning and painting the one I bought all Myfords are nice machines I have a MG 9 also which dose very nice work thank you for posting
i owned one, a plain MG12 of 1968 vintage, it was perfect and extremely accurate with very little wear. i sold it to a guy in Pakistan to make room for a Jones & Shipman 1310 i got from a local college that was new in november 1969 and has done so little work its in even better condition than the old Myford with the plus that its a fully universal grinder with an integral internal spindle too!
Where did I say such a nonsense (OK, normal for crankshaft grinders). No, you couple the driveplate (in the workhead) to the center and so get a live center.

Nick, ich bin so froh, dass du Einblick in deine Arbeiten gibst. Und lachen muss ich bei deinen Videos auch immer...!
Resurrected from death's doorstep. Outstanding work, as always. Analog for sure.
Beautiful work. Funniest part in the film. "Dont vandalize the metric system"
Amazing job, fascinating history, it looks factory new!
Whoa, excellent work! Thanks for the video, I didn't know that Myford also did grinders.
Don't vandalize metric system. :-) Simply perfect. Your scraping tutorial from past are pretty interesting. Have a nice day.
That is a beautiful job there Nic. Be nice to find one around here half that nice .
Seriously good work done there, thank you for a great video

Nice to see videos again from you
Great to see more videos from you. If you ever make it up to Regensburg, please drop by, you can visit your old Gack HE20.
Immernoch schön die Schleifmaschine :)
Willst du den Durchmesser berührend am Werkstück messen?
Ja. Induktiver Taster an die Maschine. Das TESA kann 0.1 um pro Teilstrich. :-)))))
@@MuellerNick Ich hab sowas von Mahr - 0.05mü/div. Macht einen komplett paranoid, haha.
Bin gespannt wie gut das Messen klappt.
Stefan Gotteswinter Das wird schon. Wird auf Produktions-Maschinen auch so gemacht.
Great job. A beauty!
Amazing machine.
Beautiful!
Ein Maschinen Po### fast wie in alten Zeiten, wenn man das so sagen kann.
That was great, thanks.
Excellent !!
That little pneumatic grinder is AWESOME! Did you make it? If so did you make a video? Thanks for the great tour of the Myford.
No, bought used for a song (compared to new price)
Thank you for the tour. I have always wanted to see one of these up close. Nice rebuild. Did you do much scraping on it?
More than much. :-) I made 7 videos, titled "Scraping in a Myford MG12-M cylindrical grinder"
MuellerNick oh! Well don't I feel like a fool! I will watch them all! Thank you.
Rv4 Guy Haha! That's OK! And you don't have to watch them, you CAN watch them. :-)
joisten kettenbaum are the shit.i wanna buy one brand new,but is 1000 euro(resale).very good work
You should see some of the machines factorydragon87 has fixed. He restores some machines that seem like literal scrap metal.
Schön das sich das schaben gelohnt hat! Wie genau schleift denn die kleine?
Innerhalb 1/100 zu landen ist gar kein Problem. +/- 1...2 um gehen auch, da kommt aber dann schon die Messerei dazu.
How in the world does it couple the tailstock to the work head???
