    i owned one, a plain MG12 of 1968 vintage, it was perfect and extremely accurate with very little wear. i sold it to a guy in Pakistan to make room for a Jones & Shipman 1310 i got from a local college that was new in november 1969 and has done so little work its in even better condition than the old Myford with the plus that its a fully universal grinder with an integral internal spindle too!

    Immernoch schön die Schleifmaschine :)
    Willst du den Durchmesser berührend am Werkstück messen?

    • @MuellerNick
      @MuellerNick  6 років тому +1

      Ja. Induktiver Taster an die Maschine. Das TESA kann 0.1 um pro Teilstrich. :-)))))

    That little pneumatic grinder is AWESOME! Did you make it? If so did you make a video? Thanks for the great tour of the Myford.

    You should see some of the machines factorydragon87 has fixed. He restores some machines that seem like literal scrap metal.

      Innerhalb 1/100 zu landen ist gar kein Problem. +/- 1...2 um gehen auch, da kommt aber dann schon die Messerei dazu.

    How in the world does it couple the tailstock to the work head???

    • @MuellerNick
      @MuellerNick  6 років тому

      Where did I say such a nonsense (OK, normal for crankshaft grinders). No, you couple the driveplate (in the workhead) to the center and so get a live center.
