Thanks Adam! Another awesome video!! Tuned into to learn more about the Deadbolt, which I got for my sons and I for christmas, and fell in love with the Powewagon! This little hobby is addictive 😊
Nice comparison video, some good points for both of them. I think I like the versatility of the scx24 over the fcx24, but they both have great potential. Thanks for taking the time to do this, another great video Adam! Take care!!!
It’s interesting to see them head to head. The fcx is almost more like a 1/18 scale. Tons of potential in both for sure. I think the axial has more potential because of the deep aftermarket. What did you think of the music in the video: too distracting or okay? I’m experimenting with more production
@@CapeCrawlers I found it a bit distracting during the crawling, but I liked that you're trying out some different stuff. Your videos are evolving nicely actually!
My pick? FSCX24 HYBRID. Im building it right now. Furitek, mofo, injora, treal, LGRC, flubber stuffers the works. My Large scale Arrmas and Traxxis will have to wait for now🤠. Thankyou for your time and hard work Adam. Really appreciate it💯👍👏👏👏
@@CapeCrawlers Yes, you are right. The only issue with TRX is the size. That is definitely larger than SCX and my tack is made for this little body... :)
Yeah they both are awesome, and worth having for sure. But the FCX 24 Power wagon is becoming my favorite. Appreciate you sharing, catch on the next one
Hey man great review on both of these cool little rc crawlers and nice outdoor course.I got hooked on these a couple months ago when I saw the scx bronco. I had to have it and now have a scx24 gladiator, kyosho jimny and a fms fj cruiser. I have fun with all 4 of them and have different uses for them.
I saw a servo comparison video yesterday showing servo strength at 5v and 6v, the FCX24 servo has a little more power than Emax and Savox servo options for the SCX24. FCX24 is obviously a capable crawler but what really puts me off the truck is its style, not a fan of the whole power wagon thing SCX24 has so much more going for it, different trucks with endless upgrades is the way to go in my opinion Great content CC
I agree with you. Axial just has a big head start in terms of product depth and aftermarket support. The FCX would be dangerous with a few other body options and wheelbase options like the scx24 offerings. I'm sure they will get there in time. The community seems to be embracing its capabilities and I hope that incentivizes FMS to build out the lineup.
Great Adam, I waited for this comparison. Thank you for releasing this video👍 If FMS does an exact 1-24 body and some more upgrade parts (or the aftermarket) I'll get one. So long I'm thinking about a high-end Deadbolt with many Furitek stuff in it.
Thanks for watching! It will take some time for the aftermarket to catch up to the fcx24 and I think the fcx24 will continue to evolve. The brushless deadbolt is a monster!!
Awesome video. i do have a scx24 c10 that just came in the mail yesterday actually. Now watching your video, i purchased the FMS using your CapeCrawler code. Just wanted to say thanks for that. Cheers. ill be watching more videos on upgrades for the FMS.
Excellent, informative video thank you! I'm drawn to the FCX24, but I wish FMS would do a Unimog cab version - they're missing a trick there. Especially as the full size Unimog has portal axles and their "Mogrich" is proving so popular as a trail truck.
hi Adam I'm glad you didn't choose between them because they both look so good, i think its not one or the other, i will be getting both of these in time. being a noob i went the wrong way and bought the outback mini Texan x as my 1st truck because i love the look of the old style body but there aren't many upgrade parts out therefor it.
They’re so different and enjoyable in different ways. We still have tons of fun with each of them! It’s also great to see the aftermarket support growing for the fcx and addressing some of its weak points; it’s made the truck more fun as a result.
Ive got both. They both have their advantages. Had a few issues that required replacement parts with the fcx24 almost immediately (broken driveshaft and diff gears). But the electronics/motor are better than the scx24.
They’re both winners, I have 9SCX 24s, and now to FCX 24s waiting on a third the Grim Reaper yeah I’m stoked on that.Well I enjoyed it the second time just as much is the first time watching this video. I’ll probably watch it again yeah till next time
Can you do a rematch with the scx C-10 against the fms K-5? I have slight mods to my c-10 but I'd like to know if it's worth just buying a k-5 instead of putting almost that amount into my c-10...(maybe for it's YTD)
Back watching the video again, liked it that much yeah, really been digging my power wagon now I have a limited edition one, and waiting on another one they just come out the Grim Reaper yeah it’s gonna be awesome
So I’m confused, when you say “high and low setting” for SCX24 what do you mean? Is there a way to change the speed? I keep hearing people talking about high medium and low speed in different videos but nobody has been very specific about it. I would love it if you could clear this up for me.
On the V1 electronics, the transmitter has a three way switch with low, medium, and high settings. This controls your vehicle speed. It’s only the V1 though, so if you have the transmitter and esc with the blue accents you won’t see it. The switch on the V1 remote is on the upper left, under the CH3 switch. Hope that helps!
The sound level on the video between the scx and fcx, the scx really sounds quiet and smooth gear wise but more esc noise. I wonder how they compare in person?
Great video, very impressive and informative. I thought you did a great job, I also thought from this footage the fcx looked a little more planted, first thing I'd do is make it a flat bed. Ha. Liked and subscribed. John

Liked and subbed. I'm literally trying to decide as I type this. I want a crawler that's life-like with the articulation. Ive read that out of the box, the Axial is top heavy and the shocks are springy. That can all be corrected with mods. What about the FMS. How are the shocks? (I kinda skipped to the end of your video, so I don't know if you covered it.
Thanks for watching! The shocks in the FMS out of the box are also springy. BUT they have the capability to be oil filled. FMS supplies the kit to do so with the crawler! Then you can tune them to your liking and take the springiness out of them.
Curious to see if that fcx24 2 speed transmission is compatible with other fms models like the land cruiser. I have the land cruiser and also the scx24 bronco but I want to turn the land cruiser into a trail/mud truck and I think that fcx24 transmission might be good to fit in that land cruiser. Might be worth doing a video on it
