    I've made these chips twice in the past two weeks following this recipe ..once with Kerala banana and once with the short n stout raw vegetable banana and both were equally easy to make and tasty. Thank you for this recipe.

      I was also doubtful. But then we pour it on top of the raw slices. By the time it mixes in water, we are done with it. Like she told , you can follow those steps in the video

    Hi. I tried this recipe and it came out nice and yummy. I used to always buy banana chips from outside. Didn't know it was so easy to make at home. Just a question, can I reuse the same coconut oil?

      Shambu Lingesh Do it gently. It does make a noise but do not explode. You are not pouring too much in it.

      @@sarath6507 no need to double fry just heat the pan in medium flame thn fry till crunchy sound if ur flame is high it will be burn thn once take it out dont store a chips into box wait for few more minutes let it be cool thn u can store thts it . if you follow these method u can prepare ur banana chips .

    I just watched vedio and made it

    We tried today this at home. I query is when I fried it, it was hard and craspy as u said bt after 15 mins they became soft .....y ??? Please can u answer.

    The sliced banana needs to be rinsed in water to removed the stickiness... thats how nendran banana chips ( or Calicut chips) is actually made....

    Hello, how can we do industrial plantain ships which will stay crispy and sweets for 3 or 6 months ?

      Nope no need for preservatives. Just make sure they are fried on until crispy dried and drain the oil on paper.. another tip- use unripe or almost ripe banana but not ripe banana

    Yesterday I tried and came out well. In Kerala we make in coconut oil, which gives a more shelf life.
    But then it won't keep for long as it is tastier.,,😃

    Rookie mistake you didn't say anywhere or mention abt which oil to use. As far as i know dey use coconut oil for flavour aroma and shelf life.

    Hamne chips ka plant lagya he chips bhi achi ban rahi he.. But khane k bad oil ki smell ati he tp chips Koi Le nhi raha he.. Ham oil me se nikal n paper me rakhte he thanda karte he to bhi ye problem ari he Koi solution dijye n please... Replay as soon as possible
