I think there are a lot of people who are guilty of loving this series. Don't know that it's unhealthy. It's so rare that something like this comes along. It's a view of what we hope our lives will be. I've been watching since the first day. I'm a senior citizen. I'm an exMarine. I never really got invested in any program before and I've been around since before TV was invented. This is what I call magic. A kind of magic that happens rarely. Series come and go and most are gone almost before they get started. Described in one word "magic". Here's hoping the magic goes on for a long time.

Beckett is hot, Castle is child enough to be fun but not too much when it matters. They have close friend and great family. What can you ask for more ? I dream of being Castle, writing included.
2 years later and i still miss Castle. This show was a rare example of me enjoying a show which doesn't fall in my go to genre of television shows. And Castle and Beckett's romance is probably one of the best onscreen romances I've ever seen. And that's coming from someone who doesn't even enjoy the romance genre. Looking back at this its hard to imagine Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion having trouble with each other on set. Usually such things are reflected in the onscreen chemistry but it never failed in that department.
Actually Stana, said that she never had a problem with Nathan. She (without naming Castle) said that she didn't feel welcome behind the scenes of a show she was on.

Get all 8 seasons on DVD. Watch as much as you want. I can not believe I never saw Castle until 2 months ago. I love it. I couldn't believe they cancelled it. I bought the DVD's and watch it all the time. Other people say 40 is too old to have a romantic relationship, but I would much rather watch an older couple (40's) that young kids (18 - 20's). Not everyone finds their forever love while they are in high school.
yeah, but first they fired her or technically they didn't renew her contract. The last episode was supposed to end with a cliffhanger, and season 9 we would see castle had survived, and she died... But people didn't like it so they cancelled it and it ended like it ended
The one thing that annoys me about the scene in the Hamptons is he says "I won't deny I've brought other girls UP here". I think as a New Yorker he would say "OUT here". Coming from the Tri-state area, I find people tend to say they are "out in the Hamptons". Using "up" makes it sound like they went north from NYC, not east. Just like people on the east coast don't say 'the" before the name of a highway.
That bugged me, too, the first time I saw that scene. Also, being from Long Island, I noticed immediately that the landscape (not to mention the Spanish-style homes in the background) looks NOTHING like The Hamptons LOL. And don't get me started on the palm tress that can be seen in the distance when the camera is on Kate. Suspension of disbelief has to go a long way for those of us who grew up OUT on Eastern Long Island ;)
Castle maybe she was scared to tell you because she thought that you would wake away but I no that you would not do that because he loves you and he would be there to help you

Dunno ... I feel Jane and Lisbon were not originally planned to end up together, hence their romance moments are few and far between. No so for Castle and Beckett - they were meant to each other from day one (pilot episode).
