Then, when you mix that with the fact that Xu Xin is a penholder, and penholder's topspin shots are generally heavier, have sidespin on them, and that they kick and go forward, then immediately downward, unlike shakehands players, then you give Lin a long night at the table for sure.
It obvious what one of LIN YUN ju's weakness is. It's the high arc, high spin loop. he missed a couple of those from Jang Wujin as well. Perhaps he was unfamiliar with the way the T2 ball behaves in that type of shot.
Yes, I remember he also beat Ma long too so he is capable of beating some of the worlds best but as far as I can tell, he has never beaten Xu Xin for the couple of times they've played.
