Maybe we’ll cross paths on the mountain this year. I’m trying to keep positive but I know an extreme amount of deer have winter killed. I think it’ll be hard to find some good bucks.
@@joshnicholas8350 It’s super crappy that a good chunk of deer will die, but most will not and there’ll be some big bucks as usual. Just got to pound those mountains and find them.
Absolutely incredible footage. So many unbelievable deer in this video. Well done man. I very much enjoyed watching it. Multiple times! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! So many beautiful bucks, they survived this far, lets hope better spring weather comes soon. Winter kill will take some, hopefully not many. Pray for a good outcome!😥😥
Very nice indeed. I live in northwestern Wyoming and our winter has not been quite as tough. Here's hoping that these bucks can hang on for a few more weeks.
The next few weeks will be the most critical. Where I live it’s melted about 2 feet of snow in the last week. Hopefully the deer can get to some feed soon.
Those two giants with droppers are all over instagram but, you captured both and more. Nice work, I like your setup as you can still get good shots and not disturb the already stressed deer. Thank you for sharing, been building points in Wyoming for some time but every 5-7 years they have a bad winter that wipes out over 90% fawn recruitment especially in Region G and H.
Yeah it’s been a rough winter that’s why I waited longer than normal to post my video this year. The deer were just making a comeback from the last bad winter and now it’s going to take a long time for the deer herd to come back. There are some things game and fish need to do to help the deer out and I hope they will care about the deer numbers more than the money from tag sales.
@@joshnicholas8350 Regions G and H should not general for Wyoming residents. And I say that as a resident. It would be better to draw a tag every third or fourth year and bring the population back to what it was when I was a young man. Bucks like the ones in this video were commonplace.
Very nice, thanks for sharing!!! Not sure when you filmed this or what part of the state it was, but at the time of filming they look to be in decent shape. It's not sounding good in the last month in western and central parts of the state. Hopefully I draw the unit a few of these bucks call home.
The last of the deer I filmed on here was around mid January when the started to shed. Since then we’ve gotten pounded with snow and it’s not looking good for the deer at all. It’s the 3rd of April and we just got 15 inches of snow last night and expecting another 8 or so inches tonight on top of what we already have. Hoping some of them survive this brutal winter.
What’s the date range of these videos? I keep hearing bad reports on winter range but the snow in your video doesn’t look deep in this area and the bucks look healthy. Assuming this was all taken prior to the big snow dumps?
The first deer in the video was the last deer I filmed on January 20th which was when the snow was starting to get bad. Since then we’ve gotten a lot more snow and it’s been very hard on the deer herds.
Severe winters, predation, loss of habitat, development and disease are killing wildlife at a much greater rate than hunting. As a biologist, I am interested in facts and reality, not emotions.
I've got pictures of these deer! Some great ones of the double floating main beams and stufd everywhere!!!!
Some great bucks! I need to find me a hunting buddy for this year and go find one of those giants.

Thank you for the positive feedback I really appreciate it.
Lonesome dove intro was a nice touch.
Best 7:21 min of my week. Ready for 2023 mule deer season now. Ty
Thank you I appreciate it. And good luck on the 2023 season!

I’m hoping some survive. This winter has been extremely hard on the deer.
Incredible video and footage!!! LOVE Wyoming! Praying for the Mule Deer this winter/spring. I've heard it's been brutal. Hoping many can survive!!!

Absolutely. Spring is always the most critical.

Amazing work! Hopefully many of them pull through the extended winter.
I hope so too!
Ditto!
Sweet compilation man! I’m done with this Utah deer BS! I need to start puttin in for Wyo and Colorado deer!
Let me know when your getting ready to draw Wyoming.

I’m not sure what part of the state you are in but how hard has the winter hit the deer herd?
It’s been extremely hard on the deer herd.
I know where they are
Must have been last year they're probably all dead this awful winter ❗️
Please don’t kill them
