Himawari isn’t doubted the rewrite as much as she’s doubting her parents being DEAD. I think she can sense they’re still alive and that’s why she wants to see Boruto. It’s not that she’s questioning her memories but just what everyone thinks they saw and wants to know what Boruto did to them.

I’m still hoping that if Kishimoto is going the “Love” route, that it will be Eida’s true desires to have a genuine friendship with Sarada and Sumire which protects them from any of her enchantments. As far as sasuke goes, i feel like its made expressly clear that the only reason he “broke out” of omnipotence is because sarada awakened her mangyekyo sharingan right in front of him. He literally had to murder his own brother and then find out his brother had the worst life imaginable to awaken his, easily the lowest point in his entire life, so the fact that his daughter awakened hers in this moment clearly means that whatever shes telling him is true, i subscribe to the theory that he was still affected but operating under the assumption that his memories had been tampered with due to his daughter clearly knowing something he doesnt, and it also acts as a great conclusion to sasuke’s story because he’s leaving the village and going rogue again, but this time its out of love and trust in his daughter, instead of hatred for his brother
So just throwing a half baked thought out but... since sarada looked at sauskes with her MS is it not at least possible she used something similar to kotoamatsakami, or even her MS could also rewrite memory. Granted her eyes don't bleed but with the whole awoken by love thing we don't know that they will.

I think Himawari was fully affected by it. Only thing the omnipotence did was basically switch boruto and kawaki’s place. Himawari even called Kawaki older brother. She just spent time with Kawaki before the omnipotence and believes he isn’t the type of person to commit such a crime

At least Sarada wants to be Hokage. That's a step up from her mother. But really Kishimoto has a tendency to write females with seemingly one-sided crushes (Sakura, Ino, Karin, Hinata, Sarada, Sumire, etc.) rather than any male characters showing attraction to someone, with the sole exception being Naruto - whose crush on Sakura was easily the most shallow, so it barely counts.

Sasuke didn’t show immunity to Omnipotence though. He was just as greatly affected by Eidas Omnipotence like everyone else. The only reason why he went with Boruto is cause Sarada wished it and because it was still early enough into the memory swap for people to have doubts which was explained to us in TBV Chapter 1.

Side topic, can we address the fact that in the anime canon Sarada was promoted to Chunin and went as far as to to captain team 7 when kawaki had been promoted to Genin. But in the new manga she is confirmed (twice in the same chapter) to be genin. I can’t be the only one to have picked this up!? Is this just a mistake in the translation? Or does it mean that’s anime canon doesn’t have and impact on manga canon. I’m so confused!!

I think the answer is love, but it's actually Ada's love for her two friends. Pretty fitting with some of the overarching themes of the story that she has this literally godly power over reality, but under it all she still has a human heart that desperately wants genuine human connection. This is the whole reason why ninshu was originally created after all, Hagoromo saw how the alien/alienating power of shuinjutsu based on domination and consumption could corrupt, and turned it into a way for people to understand each other and come together in peace. Absolute king move that doesn't get nearly enough attention imo, the Ootsutsuki have been farming planets and entire civilisations for chakra fruit for an incredibly long time, and this one guy who's still half murder!alien just looks at the clusterfuck that power could lead to and is just, yeah nah I can do better than this. And he does! Every Ootsutsuki knows shuinjutsu, they are are at minimum a galaxy spanning race of conquerors, and this one guy on this one planet decides fuck it. Calling it now, just like Kaguya was defeated because of the strength of the human heart and teamwork, any ultimate victory over the Ootsutsuki as a whole won't be by punching them real hard, it'll be dismantling their culture of domination for good. The Sage of Six Paths bought ninshu (understanding and connection) to humans, his heir has to bring it to the other half of his lineage.
I think the real answer to who is affected by Omnipotence is how Aida feels about them. Aida believed that Sarada and Sumire were the only people she could befriend since her Charm Shinjutsu didn't affect them. Brainwashing them would be the last thing she would want so more likely than not she subconsciously excluded them from the effect. And when it comes to people Aida likes we know she loves Kawaki but also cares for Boruto who she feels bad about doing this too. And as she cares about Boruto that also likely means she cares about Himawari by proxy which is why Himawari doubts her memories rather than being immune.
Then it wouldnt explain sasukes case while what said is true quite possible i might say but it leaves more plot holes like why didnt anyone elses memory not return when they saw borutos picture of him being with naruto and hinata as a child when he is not suppose to be or when shikamaru saw kawaki being a cyborg and him not having momoshikis karma seal (in couple of days later or the day edea used her power to brainwash the world not years)
She doesn’t know that they’re not affected. Now in the time skip she could be putting it together or whatever. But she definitely didn’t know they were immune when kawaki made the wish.

Mitsuki can still be related to Toneri. Toneri is like what, at most 1/4 Otsutsuki (Hamura was half and those that came to the moon with him were all regular humans). So at most Mitsuki is like 1/8 Otsutsuki. His Otsutsuki DNA could simply be to far diluted.

I think when it comes to himawari her memories weren’t actually rewritten, however she was a little girl when it happened. So from her perspective everyone is telling her something is one way, whereas she remembers as a little girl it being the other. She’s simply believing everyone else since she was so little when it happened that she thinks she’s wrong.
While there are other theories in this comment section I think are more likely, I just have to chime in on this one to mention that this is something that definitely happens in reality. Kids below a certain age are essentially hardwired to trust the big people around them, and when what they're consistently being told or shown by those adults happens to directly conflict with their own understanding of reality as they see it, a great many kids in this situation will deny their own senses and believe the adults instead. And unfortunately, history is rife with people intentionally abusing this fact to cause lifelong intellectual damage to children in the pursuit of making them believe whatever lies those people want them to believe. Which is why proper eductation is so incredibly important.

I don't think Hima is actually immune at all tbh. Hima is one of the only people who actually has good or decent memories of Kawaki. She wad also there when Kawaki tried to save her family. Her memories are of Kawaki and she is in disbelief because she's seen a side of Kawaki herself that leads her to believe he wouldn't kill her parents. Otherwise, she is still affected and it's shown by her calling Kawaki Big bro even when he has told her not to.
I get that everyone is under the influence of this divine, god-like power, but am I the only one who find it wierd that not one person is at least skeptical about Boruto being an outcast? We have this guy who have a name similar to Naruto, who looks like Naruto, having the same eyes and hair color, not to mention those whisker-marks on his cheeks that Himawari also have (which are never acknowledged BTW.) I have a couple problems with the reincarnation cycle working as you’ve theorized. If the the so6p chakra half’s (Indra and ashura) leave the target after they’ve died even parts of them (cells) that were taken before they died, this would bring a ton of extra plot holes into Naruto. Like if this is the case why do hashirama’s cells still give an insane healing factor? Why does he still have such a large otsotsuki level chakra pool? As long as the cells are taken before they died they would still have Ashura’s/Indra’s chakra. Obito not getting the rinnegan is a huge plot hole not just because he had the rinnegan and hashi cells, but because he became the ten tails jinchuriki. And by extension, having the rinnegan means you would unlock a rinnegan. since the rinnegan is composed of the very chakra used to Unlock it, having it would mean you would automatically awaken it in the other eye. This same thing would ring true for sasuke. Unless, Kishimoto just didn’t want him to unlock a second Obito obviously, if he got a second eye he would have obliterated everyone so easily. They already had to plot nerf his kamui. For sasuke though it seems to be just a design choice.

What if the reason the shikigami that's summoned looks so much like an otsutski is because it is, what if it's the discarded body of shibai after he had left narutos dimension to live in his own.

It's two different reasons. 1st is sumire shares a link with nue which is outsusuki so that might cancel out omnipotence. 2nd is sarada mongekou sharingan may have ability might be to nullify advanced genjutsu or Chakra disturbances.

I remember when the chapter when Aida's Omnipotence released and how people were saying Himawari was going to go through a Sasuke-like story arc. I knew that wasn't going to happen. Her parents are Naruto and Hinata: The last people you'd expect to raise and teach their children on the basis of revenge. And when chapter 1 of two blue vortex came out and she said she didn't believe Boruto killed her parents, I was just so glad that I was soo right.

I think saying Saradas feelings for boruto are out of nowhere or too on the nose is kind of disingenuous. There are plenty of logical and sound reasons/moments that have been displayed throughout the anime that would give sarada every excuse to have feelings for boruto. Her feelings have 100% been built up over time. And when it comes to mitsuki I think mitsukis love for boruto was of a different nature. Mitsuki loved boruto in more of a symbolic way. He sees boruto as more of an ideal to strive towards from his perspective as it relates to his own personal development as a synthetic human. He witnesses all the rather unique things that boruto does and says compared to everyone else and it intrigues him. However, when it comes to sarada and sumire not being affected by omnipotence I think its due to just that. The omnipotence itself. Eida more than likely desired them as friends and wanted to keep them as genuine friends while simultaneously wanting to keep their true memories and feelings in tact and so her desires were made manifest.

Sasuke didn’t show immunity to Omnipotence though. He was just as greatly affected by Eidas Omnipotence like everyone else. The only reason why he went with Boruto is cause Sarada wished it and because it was still early enough into the memory swap for people to have doubts which was explained to us in TBV Chapter 1.

It could be to do with the person granting the omnipotence wish, and who they grant it to. Since Eida is a women who loves a male otsutsuki, specifically Kawaki. At least, that sort of makes sense. That one of the restrictions is a mirroring, where people who are like the one casting it, to the type of person they cast it for, are unaffected. Other than that, I dunno.
Side topic, can we address the fact that in the anime canon Sarada was promoted to Chunin and went as far as to to captain team 7 when kawaki had been promoted to Genin. But in the new manga she is confirmed (twice in the same chapter) to be genin. I can’t be the only one to have picked this up!? Is this just a mistake in the translation? Or does it mean that’s anime canon doesn’t have and impact on manga canon. I’m so confused!!

I think the answer is love, but it's actually Ada's love for her two friends. Pretty fitting with some of the overarching themes of the story that she has this literally godly power over reality, but under it all she still has a human heart that desperately wants genuine human connection.

I think the real answer to who is affected by Omnipotence is how Aida feels about them. Aida believed that Sarada and Sumire were the only people she could befriend since her Charm Shinjutsu didn't affect them. Brainwashing them would be the last thing she would want so more likely than not she subconsciously excluded them from the effect. And when it comes to people Aida likes we know she loves Kawaki but also cares for Boruto who she feels bad about doing this too. And as she cares about Boruto that also likely means she cares about Himawari by proxy which is why Himawari doubts her memories rather than being immune.
Then it wouldnt explain sasukes case while what said is true quite possible i might say but it leaves more plot holes like why didnt anyone elses memory not return when they saw borutos picture of him being with naruto and hinata as a child when he is not suppose to be or when shikamaru saw kawaki being a cyborg and him not having momoshikis karma seal (in couple of days later or the day edea used her power to brainwash the world not years)
She doesn’t know that they’re not affected. Now in the time skip she could be putting it together or whatever. But she definitely didn’t know they were immune when kawaki made the wish.

Toneri is like what, at most 1/4 Otsutsuki (Hamura was half and those that came to the moon with him were all regular humans).
So at most Mitsuki is like 1/8 Otsutsuki. His Otsutsuki DNA could simply be to far diluted.
Which is why Mitsuki is starting to have doubts against the omnipotentence instead of just accepting what is happening.

I think when it comes to himawari her memories weren’t actually rewritten, however she was a little girl when it happened. So from her perspective everyone is telling her something is one way, whereas she remembers as a little girl it being the other. She’s simply believing everyone else since she was so little when it happened that she thinks she’s wrong.
While there are other theories in this comment section I think are more likely, I just have to chime in on this one to mention that this is something that definitely happens in reality. Kids below a certain age are essentially hardwired to trust the big people around them, and when what they're consistently being told or shown by those adults happens to directly conflict with their own understanding of reality as they see it, a great many kids in this situation will deny their own senses and believe the adults instead. And unfortunately, history is rife with people intentionally abusing this fact to cause lifelong intellectual damage to children in the pursuit of making them believe whatever lies those people want them to believe.

And pre-timeskip, discrepancies in memory (like boruto having sasuke's headband even though sasuke "remembers" giving it to kawaki) was easier to pick apart since omnipotence was just cast which i think sumerei(?) said when she was talking to sarada in the post timeskip chapter.

I don't think Hima is actually immune at all tbh. Hima is one of the only people who actually has good or decent memories of Kawaki. She wad also there when Kawaki tried to save her family. Her memories are of Kawaki and she is in disbelief because she's seen a side of Kawaki herself that leads her to believe he wouldn't kill her parents. Otherwise, she is still affected and it's shown by her calling Kawaki Big bro even when he has told her not to.
I get that everyone is under the influence of this divine, god-like power, but am I the only one who find it wierd that not one person is at least skeptical about Boruto being an outcast? I have a couple problems with the reincarnation cycle working as you’ve theorized. If the the so6p chakra half’s (Indra and ashura) leave the target after they’ve died even parts of them (cells) that were taken before they died, this would bring a ton of extra plot holes into Naruto. Like if this is the case why do hashirama’s cells still give an insane healing factor? Why does he still have such a large otsotsuki level chakra pool? As long as the cells are taken before they died they would still have Ashura’s/Indra’s chakra. Obito not getting the rinnegan is a huge plot hole not just because he had the rinnegan and hashi cells, but because he became the ten tails jinchuriki. And by extension, having the rinnegan means you would unlock a rinnegan. since the rinnegan is composed of the very chakra used to Unlock it, having it would mean you would automatically awaken it in the other eye. This same thing would ring true for sasuke. Unless, Kishimoto just didn’t want him to unlock a second Obito obviously, if he got a second eye he would have obliterated everyone so easily. They already had to plot nerf his kamui. For sasuke though it seems to be just a design choice.

There probably isn't a connecting thread between sarada and sumire. It's two different reasons. 1st is sumire shares a link with nue which is outsusuki so that might cancel out omnipotence. 2nd is sarada mongekou sharingan may have ability might be to nullify advanced genjutsu or Chakra disturbances.

I remember when the chapter when Aida's Omnipotence released and how people were saying Himawari was going to go through a Sasuke-like story arc. I knew that wasn't going to happen. Her parents are Naruto and Hinata: The last people you'd expect to raise and teach their children on the basis of revenge. And when chapter 1 of two blue vortex came out and she said she didn't believe Boruto killed her parents, I was just so glad that I was soo right.

I think saying Saradas feelings for boruto are out of nowhere or too on the nose is kind of disingenuous. There are plenty of logical and sound reasons/moments that have been displayed throughout the anime that would give sarada every excuse to have feelings for boruto. Her feelings have 100% been built up over time. And when it comes to mitsuki I think mitsukis love for boruto was of a different nature. Mitsuki loved boruto in more of a symbolic way. He sees boruto as more of an ideal to strive towards from his perspective as it relates to his own personal development as a synthetic human. He witnesses all the rather unique things that boruto does and says compared to everyone else and it intrigues him.
However, when it comes to sarada and sumire not being affected by omnipotence I think its due to just that. The omnipotence itself. Eida more than likely desired them as friends and wanted to keep them as genuine friends while simultaneously wanting to keep their true memories and feelings in tact and so her desires were made manifest.

I honestly believe Himawari is just going along with the omnipotence and trying to passively getting people to know the truth, a more gentle approach then Sarada.
