This air -layering is wonderful without rooting hormone since gooseberry is an easy plant to make root. It should take around 50 days before amazing root form. I use soil for this air layering method with gooseberry plant.

I have one year tree but it still not flowering only leaves are grown. The plant grow up around more than 10 feet. What we need to do for flowering.
you may need to spray chemical hormone to boost it which is a quick way to do.

Hi Sir, my Amla Or Gooseberry tree is more than 10yrs now but we haven't received any fruit till now. Please kindly suggest what needs to be done.
it is so strange to hear that bro. does it get enough sunlight?
Options:
1- Plant another tree of Aamla near to it, Male - Female transfer is required for Flowering and fruiting. You can transfer a Big tree (Grown-Up) also instead of a small one which will flower very late.
2- Graft another Aamla trees Sprouted skin into your tree, try it in more than 4-5 Branches at the same time so that some of them are accepted by your tree.
3- At the bottom of the tree trunk where soil and Trunk meet. Take a Nail (Keel), it must not be more than 1/10th of the trunk diameter. Wash the Nail with Anti Fungal Compound / Fungicide. As sson as it flowers, Remove the nail without fail.
4. Generally Honey-Bees of various types do the transfer of pollens naturally, if you can manage the same thing, you can try that even.

December is the time when Flowering starts, January is when it fruits and by Feb Aamla ripes.
Rainy season is the right time for the activity to get results or response from tree for this year, else next year your tree must have Fruits.
Do it on Navmi Tithi of the month, not date 9 but NAVMI Tithi.
