The best method to kill someone with a toothpick (assuming you don't have super strength) would most likely be to give them a TOPI injury (Trans-orbital penetrating intracranial injury) through or around the eye, since there is only a thin layer of bone a few millimetres thick protecting the brain. Either way would be very difficult to penetrate with a toothpick, even with pinpoint accuracy, due to its minimal mass and brittleness, the toothpick would have a higher chance of snapping on impact or being stopped by the eyeball rather than getting into the victim's brain. Anyhow, this is a comic book character we are discussing, so no point in accuracy to real life.
Correct, Bullseye folded a paper plane and threw it from the building across the street. It breaks through the glass window and stabs the guy in the neck, killing him.
Less scary than the time he takes a paperclip and tosses it from the top of a building in order to shatter the window of a neighboring building and murder a mother breast feeding her child.
One of my favorite throws he did was Punisher threw a grenade at him and he tossed a toothpick into the fire-pin's hole in mid-air to keep it from exploding.
Bullseye fought against dead shot in the 97 crossover, but I’m not sure who won. Since they both never miss they probably killed each other in the first shot 😁
Dennis Cleary I think I remember reading it and I think Bullseye won just barely by hitting Deadshot in the throat heart and forehead with his playing cards. He manage to hit dead shot earlier in the eye with a toothpick which threw off his aim just enough so while he was still hit by him with a gunshot it wasn’t a lethal one
I love Bullseye! He's such an interesting psychopathic assassin, and Dark Avenger. I always thought that he could be a great villain for Hawkeye as well. His skills are just perfect as a foil to Hawkeye. Otherwise, I believe the definitive Bullseye interpretation is Netflix's Daredevil Season 3. At 9:40, it's actually uncanny how much the current actor of Bullseye aka Ben Poindexter aka Dex in the current DareDevil series looks like that comic depiction. Like the eyes and smile is almost identical!
Here after binge watching DD s3, kinda mad at myself for finishing it in two days 😓😪 Anyway, here to see how the Bullseye from the show compares to the comics
There's no way he's not, at the very least, level 1 or 2 super human. Just the sheer level of shots he's made(that legit would take accuracy and serious crazy strength to pull off) tips him right into superhuman territory
@@geraldsmith2072 oh i thought he shot her? It was Kevin Smith's run, right? I read from Smith's run through Return of the King all in one go like 8 years ago, so i could be wrong.
He attempted to kill her with a gun previously but was thwarted by Daredevil. He later killed her with Daredevil's billy club after firing the one shot into his shoulder. Bullseye mentions that he learned his lesson and only loaded one bullet this time.
So, maybe unpopular opinion, but I loved Bullseye and Kingpin in the Daredevil movie. Those two villains make watching that movie worth it. Duncan and Farrell were fantastic. I know it can be tedious but thank you for doing Bullseye Rob. He is definitely under appreciated. If you could do Venom and go into his Lethal Protector run that'd be great too. What'd you think of the Venom movie? I thought it was underwhelming.
@@jonathanwessner3456 no no Collin Farrel was a fantastic Bullseye. Way more faithful to the comic character than the series version. Cringe acting and a corny script that has aged horribly did the film no justice
@@machineguncrally7020 No, in the comics, Bullseye didn't have to unfold a paper clip to kill you. His "power" was the ability to know the exact spot and amount of force to hit you to cause death. Ferrel was like an over the top portrayal of a man who was usually cool and calm.
@@jonathanwessner3456 no oscar winning performance at all for sure but Farrel is one of the greatest actors and accurate when it comes to comic. He pulled off the look, the cocky, the psychotic, and the over the top funny ridiculous things he could attack you with like in the comics. And he still killed Elektra. The netflix series version was a crybaby who whined a lot and had to go to therapy and acted hard done by where as Farrel was just plain evil for no known reason like in the comics
Lore question: Any perticular reason why the adamantium doesn't poison him like it did to Old man Logan? (Even worse since he has no healing factor...)
That is something they're probably gonna say ut mattwrs the amount in your body. Becaise rmemeber when Bullseye in Thunserbilts the teleoaths coulnt cintrol him, but Wolverine gets mind controlled all the time and his whole skull is adamantium. So just inconsistent writing.
Yes. The adamantium placed in Bullseye was a higher quality then the grade placed on Wolverine's bones. It was for a high value target and they repaired his spine as an incentive.
Old Man Logan is just a spin off, there are version were he wasn't poisoned, just got old. So depending on what story your into adamantium is a sterile metal or it's radioactive/poison.
I want to see a "parallel universe" version of Bullseye where he is a HERO and uses his perfect aim to SAVE people. That would be an interesting thing to see.
given the time he DID wear Daredevil's costume and given what you learn about the character, his skillset, his personality, Bullseye to me is - and always shall be - that strange hybrid of The Joker/Reverse-Flash to Matt's Batman/Flash. He is an opposite, a negative image, yet completely insane and sees the world through that chaotic lens. Yet like Reverse-Flash, he's narcissistic to ridiculous degrees. It's just a pity not many IN the books have taken advantage of the fact that Bullseye very much is an Evil Daredevil in many respects. DD can fight at range but prefers close range/Bullseye can fight at close range, prefers long distance; both have wicked tempers and shitty childhoods; Bullseye can globe trot but always comes back to New York and fixates on the Red Man just like Daredevil has been almost everywhere in Marvel but always comes back to Hell's Kitchen; one has questionable sanity whilst the other is gleefully insane; one is known to fight without sight, the other has such a keen eye that he almost never misses; Red suit (shadowed in black), Black-Blue suit with white trim. It's all there.
Bullseye is MY DUDE. There is no real reason why he's so good or so accurate, but he is. Bullseye in the recent Old Man Logan (and Old Man Hawkeye) is amazing. Prodigious martial artist and superhuman accuracy with the ability to kill with any item (his favs is paper clips and playing cards).
That bit about Bullseye first appearing in 1969 is not true. That Bullseye was named Edward Forsyth, and aside from being an assassin had little to do with the character we know. He also died either in the Nick Fury issue he was in, or another issue of Nick Fury the same year.
I dig your videos man! Bullseye is one of my favorite characters. He, like hawkeye, are considered above peak human ,the only difference is bullseye has an innate ability he was born with, and underwent perfect adamantium bonding meaning no poisoning, he doesnt have an x-gene so he isnt a mutant , and nothing gave him his power like how daredevil/spiderman attained theirs whereas they're classed as a mutate.
I don't mind the character, but ya that part of the episode was waaaaaaay longer than it needed to be. That whole time I was wishing they would have just explained that part of the story through a brief dialogue she was having with someone else. A similar thing happened with the flashback in that Netflix series Altered Carbon. It was phenomenal until the flashback... then the show fell off of a cliff. Series seem to have too many problems with the number of episodes, where they seem to just fill shows with irritating content.
You forgot the rather insignificant detail that he also killed Karen Page. And that the show kinda faked us out with the notion we'd see that happen again when Bullseye went into that church looking for Karen.
Bullseye has had some fairly ridiculous power creep over time. Originally he's a normal human who happens to be a really good shot. Over time he gains magical powers to never miss and turn any projectile into a lethal object from any distance or angle.
Much like how Spider-Man has a Spider Sense, Bullseye has a Girlfriend Sense. The moment Matt gets a girlfriend, Bullseye's Sense starts to tingle, and he's like "Oh boy. Here I go killing again."

Finally I used to read DAREDEVIL back when Frank Miller was the artist and writer and I felt like was reading it all over again. Again I love what they did with bullseye. Such an interesting character and an interesting storyline for him.
Bullseye should be reintroduced for the thunderbolts film when it gets made.
@ShoryukenPunch I believe it would make much more sense if he was.
Bullseye in PunisherMax made me sick to my stomach. The guy was beyond psychotic.
Gotta read that. Cyborg Bullseye in Old Man Hawkeye's pretty twisted, too.
Might have to check it out

DAMN HE'S SNIPER FROM TF2!
Rob, you totally skipped over Bullseye killing Karen Page with a gun.
It was with daredevil's billy club
@@geraldsmith2072 oh i thought he shot her? It was Kevin Smith's run, right? I read from Smith's run through Return of the King all in one go like 8 years ago, so i could be wrong.
Ericdared13 yeah I think it was DD’s billy club, but I don’t blame you he’s killed too many people to keep track of how he killed them
He attempted to kill her with a gun previously but was thwarted by Daredevil. He later killed her with Daredevil's billy club after firing the one shot into his shoulder. Bullseye mentions that he learned his lesson and only loaded one bullet this time.
Yeah don't know how he skipped that one. It was an important defining moment for the character and is relative to show
So, maybe unpopular opinion, but I loved Bullseye and Kingpin in the Daredevil movie.
Christopher Temple The uncut Daredevil was very good.
Duncan was a great Kingpin, Farrel did not do Bullseye justice. The writing on that one was junk.
Because logan had it in him alot longer
Negusis 85 I’m not a spelling nazi but wtf
I really loved how they portrayed Bullseye in Daredevil season 3. Really brilliant
I want to see a "parallel universe" version of Bullseye where he is a HERO and uses his perfect aim to SAVE people. That would be an interesting thing to see.
the netflix version of bullseye was amazing!! I really hope disney uses him again
given the time he DID wear Daredevil's costume and given what you learn about the character, his skillset, his personality, Bullseye to me is - and always shall be - that strange hybrid of The Joker/Reverse-Flash to Matt's Batman/Flash.
Rob you should make a Daredevil season 3 spoiler review.

- ComicSexplained, 2K18
It seems like you explain so much about what happens at the comic company instead of explaining the charchter.
It would be really cool if you could cover blade I rarely see anyone mention him these days
Awesome video:D If you are interested in Marvel, you may also like our new "Captain Marvel" Trailer-Parody!
Holy shit, I loved the way Netflix did Bullseye. He was throwing everything at DD.
So will Bullseye kill karen page in s04 of DD on netflix?
Please stop with the sexy voice thing
R M just skip it then 😐😐
R M rude
@R M there's no need to insult him though
@R M lmao you're watching comics explained and you are calling others nerds?
Thank you
I wish there were more of these. I love these single character explanations. I would love to see one on Robin(s), or Clayface(s)
When MARVEL finally gets something to really work for Bullseye, he is going to be a very popular monster.
The Netflix adaption of daredevil has to be my favorite by far maybe being topped by the frank miller run
Osborn was in charge of that version of the Thunderbolts, Zemo wasn't around for that period.
One of my favorite badass villains in Daredevil.
Bullseye with Gambit’s powers. Oh shit.
Bullseye has had some fairly ridiculous power creep over time. Originally he's a normal human who happens to be a really good shot. Over time he gains magical powers to never miss and turn any projectile into a lethal object from any distance or angle.
Marvel is full of power creep
Bullseye Daredevils Joker!! Best battles ever!!
