I have use them for 1 week now, and man, these are pretty good for the price.
The volume levels on with the dongle is louder and better rather in bluetooth, as you told. The funny thing here is the mic works well in only certain games, for example in WZM the mute button does not mute 😅.
Overall, they're great.
