Out of everything in Twin Peaks, David has always stated his love for the character of Laura Palmer. Seeing her again, after 25 years they had killed his show and panned the movie entirely about her, it must've felt so good. You can tell from this.
How on earth does that happen? I just welled up straight away. How overwhelmed he is to see her. And of course saying " 25 years" that just set me off.

Then her original director came back to see her one last time" - It's just amazing that an actress can recognise him like that. People think actresses don't have intelligence like we do, but this completely disproves that!
He knows how to make his actors feel like they're the center of the universe, they're special in that moment. Absolute genius.

I also love how Sheryl chuckles when David talks about the backward lines - like yeah, I remember, been there got the T-shirt. Made me laugh too
