Iron ore, gold ore, and the new copper ore all drop raw materials instead of their own ore block now. This makes it so that fortune can apply to iron gold and copper ore to drop more of the raw variant per ore block. - Ore vein size has also changed in that iron can generate in massive amounts surrounded by tuff, and copper the same with granite. - As you can tell the world is 64 blocks deeper and taller. - There are also amethyst geodes buried deep underground, surrounded by smooth basalt and calcite blocks. - Amethyst and copper can be combined for a spyglass(vanilla zoom tool) and copper can be used for lightning rods and the block of copper will oxidize overtime. Amethyst can also be used for tinted glass, transparent but lets no light levels through. There are three new cave biomes called dripstone caves, lush caves, and the deep dark. - Dripstone caves are like the mesa biome for ores but instead of gold being super common, copper is very common here, it is also commonly home to drowned. - Lush caves are home to tropical fish and axolotls, as well as dripleaf and spore blossom plants, and a moss block type. - In the deep dark there is a new structure called the ancient city, home to the most powerful mob in the game, The Warden. The good thing is, the warden is blind and must go off of his other senses. He will only spawn if you set off a sculk shrieker 3 times. - Another thing is the sculk block and its variants. Sculk can be mined with a hoe(fastest) to obtain xp, or the block with silk touch. This rule applies to all sculk variants. - The sculk sensor picks up vibrations around it and transmits that info to other sculk sensors and shriekers or through a redstone comparator based on the strength of the vibration that set it off. - The final sculk variant is a catalyst that will spread sculk blocks and sculk veins by consuming the xp of mobs killed around it. - The last addition is an enchant called Swift Sneak, which you apply to leggings in order to sneak at a faster pace. There is one more biome called the Mangrove Swamp biome, home to new trees, mud blocks, and frogs. The mangrove wood is red in color and a dark brown on the outside. - Mud can be artificially created by adding a water bottle to dirt with a right click. It can also be dried into clay when placed on a dripstone block with a dripstone hanging under it. - Frogs can be bred with slimeballs, they will lay frog spawn, which will hatch into tadpoles, which can be transported with a bucket. Depending where you raise the tadpoles, the frog will be one of three colors. Warm biome = white. Cold biome = green. Swamp/neutral = orangish. If you manage to get a frog into the nether it will consume baby magma cubes and produce a froglight similar to its own color. Hope this helps! Glad to see you back King!!
