Just had a fusion biopsy today and this video seems spot on with my experience. It mostly went well with little discomfort. One sample seemed to go deep down the middle (I have no idea if that's accurate) and hurt quite a bit. But the pain ended quickly, though it had me gritting my teeth for the remainder of the 15 samples taken. I should hear back in a week.
A recent prostate MRI showed a suspicious spot. I will get a guided biopsy in four weeks. This will be much better than the "random-12" prostate biopsy I got back in 2015.
@@blakeposter7496 This latest biopsy came back negative. I also had the Prostate Artery Embolization procedure done which has helped my voiding difficulties.
I disagree, I had PC and did the whole tour. every male doctor just plowed right through with complete disregard for the pain ( not “discomfort”) they caused. The female Urologists i’ve had were the first to say they recommended sedation or general anesthesia. I actually had a male doctor walk into the treatment room, not even tell me who he was and do a bladder neck dilation with nothing for pain. I thought he was tearing my insides out. I had to have it done again a year later and the female doc told me “you shouldn’t be awake for this”.

I am scheduled for a biopsy in 2 weeks...A bit nervous.
Norm Storm: How was it? I am scheduled for December10, 2019.
I had one... cancer confirmed... awaiting to decide on next step to treat. Though sedated, there was slight pain...
@gottago60 Used to be your dignity.
Unless can have all male team no biopsy. Just wait and see.
