Great video! I go to this show every year. Standing and watching these horses is a magnificent experience. The Budweiser Clydes are awesome too, add 2 more to them for an 8 horse hitch! 💕
What a MaGnIFiCeNt Entry......stunning,heart stopping, goosebumps to the core👌🏽💞💯💯💯...my fellow riders adorners...I'm certain get the same...love love this ❤
The first black team had huge hooves, and all the teams seem to have long/spread hooves that actually put strain on their fetlocks/pasterns if left too long - is it a weird fashion in this discipline. Also I didn't hear the sound of Caulk and Wedge hind shoes for greater grip - maybe you shoe differently there??
I don’t think the big hooves on the black horses was actually their hooves. Looked to me like heavy weighted horse shoes. Sad to see these horses going the way of the Tennessee Walking horses (watch a Big Lick show to see what I mean).
There scotch shoes dw there allways removed after a show . It’s just to make them lifts there feet . But yes I get what you mean bcbig lick is way too abusive .
@@WCMAPLESHADE Thanks for the info - shoeing should be protective or therapeutic not gait altering for fashion of all things - whats the world coming to. I don't know anything about your " big lick" shows or their attendant cruelty - it's distressing enough that these larger but submissive and therefore defenceless animals are being abused in the name of some weird competitive fashion. It's hard enough to keep horses fit and healthy without this kind of stupidity.
@@classactsexpertiseandinspi4815Actually horse shoe-ing fashion is actually getting better a lot of techniques being used on tenenessee walkers especially is illegal now.
Omg. What beautiful animals.!!!!

I love to hear them coming

Come and see the Gentle Giants...
What kind of shoes do they have on those horses?
Its ok. Its just polish, harmless. Some show horses wear polish.
I've always wanted to drive a team of horses. Never have.
Or they may have boots on to cushion their legs/ hooves from hard surfaces.

@@cindycox9361 It’s not anywhere near as bad as what they do to the horses in those Big Lick shows, but it is stupid still.

This hurts their feet. You people just want to make yourselves look good
Who won?
Please stop docking these beautiful horses tails.
Stop telling people what to do
What have they done to their HOOVES.......NO Regard to the horses welfare
Stimmt 😢
These are scotch bottom shoes and are used to make the horse lift the legs higher. They are removed after exhibitions.
@@bw6066Interesting! Makes sense. Someone was a clever-boots!
They are scotch bottoms shows for showing pads and shoes
Very interesting article about them on www.americanfarriers.com/ext/resources/download/OLE/0418OLE/280-283_scotch-Bottoms_AFJ_0883_web.pdf
Can't watch in narrow format. What a waste of content. Stay dafe
Beautiful horses ❤
