@@MadEnglishTV Do u know I can help with teaching Arabic if u help me to be fluent at English 😔😔😔of course if u wanna learn Arabic and in my opinion no body doesn't wanna learn Arabic
I love your English classes. I am a 73 years old Lady. I atended classes in an English Académic for two y eras a long ago. I didn't learn as I wanted.. For me you're the best teacher I ever had. I still studying in order to have my mind active and help a daugther and grand son. They're studying English too. Books don't teach real English. It's still hard for me to understand when two native speakers are talking. Could you make vídeos using linking sounds in conversations and write them down? Thanks to you for your great help.
I pick up a stick from the match box, then I stick it to the box, then, don’t know! Fabulous video! This is what I really like to learn. Everyday social terms, it’s daily needed to use.
Please keep making more videos like this. Before watching this video I had no idea of how to describe what you did with the match. Thank you very much.
I try usually to follow these lessons because always I found into them new things of common daily life to learn that I particularly love very much. Thank you teacher
I got it my teacher. Thank you so much. We can find these such words in academic reading so that by learning them our reading vocabulary is going to be improved. All the best ☺️💜
Pin=hold down Index finger Matchbox Match stick Flick Pin the match on the striking surface with your index finger and flick it ,it will burst into flame Lighter Combust Ignite Thank you so much!🙂
I had herd the word pin but in another context when talking about sawing. I had heard flick but never used it as you described, I use that action a lot but not saying any word. Thanks for the lesson.
Hi, mark! The first time I saw a lighter for kitchen gas. I haven't seen a match for more than ten years. In your videos, I always find new things that satisfy my curiosity. Thank you very much! 🙂
Hello. Thanks for your lessons. It's really practical. Like the words, flick, pin, striking surface, pinky, burst into flame, And you saying All good things come at an end ! Right? I love this
A teacher from Kiev is thanking you, Mark! It's awesome - you're my best friend! Now I can earn money by simply showing your videos to my pupils (joke!). There was an old book called Live Action English (Pergamon Press) with various domestic actions performed daily. We need more videos like this.
I try usually to follow these lessons because always I found into them new things of common daily life to learn that I particularly love very much. Thak you teacher.
I watched this video twice and truth be told, it was all new vocab to me and very very useful video as not only I learnt vocab but sentence structure and pronunciation too.
This is the second time I see your videos and I love the way you teach English . I work too many hours, but still , I’m looking forward to watch more of your videos. Challenge is fun! I still need to improve my vocabulary. Thank you so much !!!
Great lesson! Very useful vocabulary. Nowadays stores do not sell matches any more. I still buy lighters mainly for smoking cigarettes. The longer lighters are normally used for lighting charcoal in a barbecue grill.
Hi! i didn't know how to describe these two actions but now i know them: To burn a matchstick into the flame, i pin the head of the matchstick against the striking surface of the matchbox, then i flick it. Take care!
Hi, Mark I love your way to teaching English. Easy to understand because you speak slowly.. It's very helpfull. we need more Casual English instead of English text book. i' m looking forward your lesson. anyway, please give me a lesson about " word connection " / linking in sentences or conversations and more idioms....thanks..
i ' ve studied English for long time ago. Now i 'm getting more excited after watching your video. I hope i can practice more conversation at home with my children who is growing up.. thank you , Mark.. i hope you can visit my wonderful country, Indonesia, and Pekalongan , world City of Batik
I think the word you were looking for was maybe "spark". And a phrasal verb for that is "mess around". I could say that you're asking for, no one knows more words, sentences or idioms about mockery than i do. This one in my school time was called "flame-a-hawk" referring to a tomahawk missile.
Pretty cool ,teacher ! The hardest challenge for me is make my friend ,Angelo, becomes a person who loves work ,because he doesn´t work on anything and wherever i go i always find people who complains about him . Besides being such a tramp guy ,my friend ,Angelo ,used to spending all the time drinking cachaça ,without worrying about anything else .
That’s really great 👍 I really appreciate it for sharing these like useful videos I really wanna learn everything about English like this useful vocabulary that you taught already thanks dear mark
For the first step I'd say "put the head of the stick against the box and hold it with your finger", and for the second part, "then push the stick with your other hand's finger".
If you light a match the normal way, it's called "lighting a match".
Ex: Mary lit the match to light the candle.
Thank you xx
thx brother I really appreciate it, so it's the "stove" right? stove that we use to cook our food it's stove right?
@@w.w7974 Yes, it's called a stove. 😃
@@MadEnglishTV Hahaha thx lovely brother
