Very rich history but very bad camera man, he just fixed the camera on the tour guide's face and refused to let us see all the amazing artifacts that the girl is showing us...at least most times the camera is on the lady's face which should rather have been on the artifacts that we want to see.
@@abinibihub I did enjoyed, it pained me that I would have enjoyed it more if I had better view of the artifacts rather. Besides that, it's a great job and kudos to you I know it's not easy to travel that far and still work well with camera. So kudos!
Unfortunately,a town has been swept under carpet by the power of politics.. No be today we dey use political influence against the weak in Nigeria.. #Sepeteri is where Oyo Ile located
It is a long story, but the palace and the people of Oyo usually moved due to the incursion of enemies, usually the Nupes. When yoruba people suffered from military conquest, they moved in order to re-strategise. They moved to Igboho, went back to Oyo Ile, but finally settled at Ago d'Oyo. The total collapse was borne out of the political and constitutional crises majorly started by Basorun Gaa, and Oba Ahole, and contributed to in small part by Aare Afonja. It was after this period that the whole of yoruba kingdom was engulfed in tumult and many carted into slavery.
Oyo Ile (or oyo ajaka is quite far from the present day Ago d'Oyo ( or Oyo Atiba). It is near Borgu and Nupeland, between present day kwara and Niger states
