i have a 2014 535d (US Spec, i think it's the same as euro 530d) N57. Do you guys have a kit + tune to do these upgrades on my 5er?
Drop us an email to sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk with vin number and we can see what we can do for you
Buenas amigo , esa clase de turbo de rodamientos se tienen que refrigerar con agua ?
They aren't cooled by water , no
So if I go this route instead of the 335d xdrive, leave the traction control ON. With this power and I’ll be safe as safe can be not going too OTT. Cheers
You can get 30d X-drive.
@@DarksideDevelopments is this power achievable on the 330d xdrive. With these bolt ons in this video?. I don’t know if it’s same engine as it’s a bit newer. Like you discribed in the video different injectors ect, I’m not in the know technically but I’m ready too buy the right car. Thanks for any feedback again.
I'd be well happy with that an'all. How much did it cost out of interest?

Is the n57 a really good engine to tune is it reliable
Fairly solid engine, we've done plenty of high power builds on them and they are still going strong to this day
I would love to see an in depth video of the Powergate.
Its coming!
Straight question Im very interested in that mode , but is that can beat stock c63amg. 0-60,100-200?
I have 2015 f36 3.0 and dont know what to do sell it or keep it. Any advise please.
The C63 might be quicker over 100mph, not sure!
Are the m57s much different on tuning specs ?
E53 3.0d 231bhp ?
only the 204's are different :)
Absolutely awesome videos guys, im looking at the 330d and 335d how reliable are they when tuned plz
As long at they are looked after properly, they are very reliable. We've done a 430 and 435 both very similar spec and they been running for years

@@DarksideDevelopments thank you guys, really appreciate the help
I’m intrigued. I have a 120d 181bhp & it’s decent performance. It’s slower than my e46 330ci but not much. How much do I need to spend to make the 120d rapid? Or is the 2litre too small etc? I’d love to know.
I had a copper d remapped & I genuinely think it slowed it down. I’d be genuinely grateful of some feedback
Drop us an email to sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk and we can give you a list of parts and costs including labour and a rough estimate of power figures
@@DarksideDevelopments thank you 🙏
I have a manual... reading clutch specs and engine power left me only with the sachs zf engineering clutch with the sintered plate. However this sucks to drive... What to you guys think about this engine, the power output and what clutch to use because clearly now i want to downgrade the clutch but still upgrade the engine.... I'm screwed !!
Please email our sales / technical team - sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk and they will hopefully be able to help you :)
thoughts on experimenting with the quad turbos from the newer bmws? worth it over a big single?
Too complicated for their own good!
I'm on stage 3 . Wagner intercooler. Straight pipe etc. How much does a stage 3 remap and fitted hybrid cost? It should hit 380bhp? I don't want to spend the money on m50 injectors and pump atm. Also is it true it takes longer to spool up on a hybrid. Making it worse around town but better on long straights? Thanks
We don't work in stages like generic mappers, who use smoke and mirrors to charge you more. Please forward your email and reg and we will send you the details.
Stock injectors and pump can break 400??!
Yes they will make 400+
Recently picked up a 17 328d derive wagon I’m planning the build on now. I would love to work with you guys to build a beast of a wagon in the states
If you need any advice at all, just drop us an email to sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk
Can y’all remote tune if I have the equipment needed to hook up to my 328
We do, we only use remote tune using Powergate though - www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/darkside-powergate-remote-tuning.html

Is there any kind of discount for handing in our stock turbo for this big turbo? Or are we better off selling the turbo ourselves?

I'm wondering what's the mpg like , after all those modifications ?
Thank you 😊
Similar if driven the same!
Are all the changes you did to this car compliant with passing an MOT? What sort of ball park are you talking for a similar job on a 125D?
Best to email us, any form of modification should be an MOT fail
Can i ask what the rpm for d mode up shifts and down shifts were set to also s mode :)
As per XHP I believe, play until you get what you desire!
Hi whats the cost of a turbo and turne for the car.
Drop us an email to sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk, we'll be able to give you the price a turbo and tune
What's the difference between the 330D and 335D XDrive? Apologies but I'm a nube to 'the darkside' am a petrol head but seriously considering paying the emperor a visit up north 😁👍 these make insane performance and luxury with great mpg
330d is a more robust set up with a single turbo, which we can upgrade more than the 335d which has twin turbo's
@@DarksideDevelopments are you currently in development working on larger more efficient twin turbo setup for the 335D? And at what kinds of power bhp would you consider removing the dpf on a 330D when fitting the larger single turbo due to excess back pressure and temps? Is it around 400bhp or can the 330D make over 400bhp and still retain the dpf because I don't want to get rid of the dpf due to emissions testing at MOT and and can't find any friendly testers locally.
@@TheCinderellaman10 Yes we have a hybrid unit to test however there will be other limitations with this installed, Fuel system and intake system.
DPF Removal is not recommended.
yes yes yes darkside do u guys have the graphic for the intercooler graphic and can i buy it or make my own
You have to buy our cooler!
What was rear wheel power/torque? It’s odd that you UK guys try and convert it to fly because it’s an educated guess at best I would’ve thought?
It always works out fine. When you buy a car it's rated at the flywheel
What is the all in cost of this package (all said and done - parts, labour and remap)?

I enjoy watching the bmw content, as from owning one. Be good to see n47n content 😌 for 2013 ect. Don't seem to be much on the market or very pricey
Isnt there an issue with taking the egr cooler off the n57 resulting in frying the head????
This is certainly a myth!
When does that system start to spool? Your graph starts at 2.000rpm. Not that I'm planning to get one but just out of curiosity. I just love good torque from down low that doesn't rub out of revs upwards. A good punch of torque but not uncontrolled.
Love the Mk3 Mondeo 2.2TDCi. Unluckily they have a big issue with the injectors. But the power band is a dream. I like PD engines too but the torque just comes too aggressive and they run out of rpm so quickly
Boost starts at super low RPM but below 2k it's a bit slower
@@DarksideDevelopments hey thanks for the reply. If you'd hold it below 2000Rpm and hit the throttle. Will it eventually spool or is that just too low? Like going down the motorway in 6th gear
Is the transmission okay with this power? I’m considering doing this with my f01 730d n57 in perfect condition but has 250,000 miles on it so not sure if it will be okay to up the power that much
It required a gearbox tune to make sure it was getting the power down smoothly but it handled it well. Drop us an email to sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk if you need any advice on them
Not being picky here as i love your channel...but surely there should wing guards to protect the paint when youre working on it ?
To protect the wings from the technician's tummy? I'm sure it's fine.

Dream would be a 550d with tubular headers and 4 vgt turbos.
Also on m57 (because of 2 intake manifolds) after removing swirl flaps , what about adding a single throttle butterfly before the manifold ?
Not sure their would be much benefit
Why not an N57 pumped up ,,slightly " in your R6 project? Probably lighter than the V8 or is it too long? I mean the V8 diesel adds quiet a bit of weight.
Nah, gotta be a v8. Sure the n57 is great, but its not really what you want in a 'supercar'
Straight 6 too long!
@@DarksideDevelopments ok. Thanks for the response.
@@hello7533 I understand that but you also don't want to spoil the car by adding too much weight.

Alright mate had a few problems with my bora tdi st pd . I have pd 150 hybrid turbo my pipe that connects to egr valve as I'm still running egr keeps popping off on the hard pipe as it's the standard pipe for the egr . I have your side mount kit . Do you do a uprated pipe for egr pipe as my one a bit short and the clamps keep popping off under full boost I have tightened up as much as possible. And seems all good for now but it will do it again . I want to be able to build up enough back pressure so wen exhaust is on I don't lose all that pressure with straight pipes and I don't want decat as I'm still on standard exhaust . I will also need free flow sport cat. Down pipe and nice system. I can bring to you now as I'm off in 5 weeks I drop her off so we can do the bits and Bob's done now as we been talking a while now . And a power run if all possible to see wat I have now . As I think I got about 200 bhp plus . As before new turbo and your intercooler kit I had 175 bhp at fly wheel all on standard bits . And a revo remap . And she is a lot faster than before . And wen you get it and we meet hopefully if you are impressed you can help Me finish. My nan raised me and helped me get the car so it means alot as she has passed away . And she never got to see the car complete . Thank you . I have tried to phone but your phones are still off . Bloody covid
