I was just diagnosed this. Im 41 years old and gained 10kg over just 2 weeks, didnt notice it was eudema. Startet with prednisone and ramipril a couple of days ago…wish me luck guys 👍
How your body react to the steroid? And how long it took you after starting steroid to get ride of swelling in your body?My 3 years old got diagnosed with MCD we started the treatment she is complaining about leg pain.
Hey, the Swelling took something like 3 Weeks to completely disappear... however i did not encounter any pain in that time... a little later i started to get really bad Cramps in my feet...really painful...i got an reduction plan for the prednisone...started with 80 mg a day and now i am at 25mg a day... my next checkup is in 2 weeks. wish you all the best...🥺@@aichajalidane1459
You are amazing , this video is really helping me in brushing up my nephrology for my recertification exams, thank you so much , simple, short and clear.
I have MCD and diagnosed last March 13, 2022 with biopsy needle. Will start Prednisone this week. I am 26 of age and I am thanking God right now that the steroids will respond well 🙏🏻
On the Matter of Minimal Change Disease (MCD) and Nephrotic Syndrome (NS): 1) Podocyte Effacement and Corticosteroid Responsiveness; while 2) Pediatric Amyloidosis (AL/AA Amyloidosis) is my subject Matter. This Later has a Dim Prognosis and is entirely cured by Renal Transplantation. Anyway, Great and Fun......Heil!
