- From 20th Century Studios, “No One Will Save You” is an action-packed face-off between Brynn and a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past. Written and directed by Brian Duffield, the film features music by composer Joseph Trapanese. Tim White, Trevor White, Allan Mandelbaum and Duffield produce; Dever and Joshua Throne executive produce. “No One Will Save You” begins streaming on Sept. 22, 2023, exclusively on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ in all other territories.

Unfortunately Disney is sending most of the fox movies straight to Hulu.
They (fox, disney) make more money when it goes straight to streaming because they don't have to share the revenue with movie theaters however the actors, directors producers make less because they rely more on ticket sales.

well kinda... it showed a little too much... I would be okay with just enough footage of her alone in the dark and just some noises to keep it minimum...
Only issue I have with modern trailers is that not counting TV/UA-cam ads the studios these days release 2-3 depending on the film. Frankly I think one trailer should be sufficient for a movie.

No better thing is this world than a story that is succesfully pulled of with almost zero dialog BRAVO!
The tension throughout the movie was almost unbearable. No dialogue at all, only triples the tension. The sound affects, timing, and pace, are all impeccable. One of the best thrillers I've seen in years.

Usually most alien movies have a stronger sci fi tone then a horror tone. But this looks all horror and I LOVE IT.
Except Close Encounters of the Third Kind… that was the most boring movie I’ve ever watched and I’ve watched Rubber

I've just finished watching this movie , and it feels like a combination of Signs , A Quiet Place and War of the Worlds . It's like it takes certain tense moments from all of them and combines it all into this. If you like Scifi Alien Extraterrestrial Abduction movies , this is one of the best to watch , and it'll definitely be on my all time favorites list.

It is the plot outline though. Seems like 80% of what we see here is edited in a way it was sorted according to the script. It just doesn't have many dialogue.
For real. The last time a trailer gave me this vibe was Nope. Told us absolutely nothing but I knew I had to see it the day it released.
This trailer is full of boring jumpscares and loud noises. And it shows the alien already. I saw a short clip of this earlier and I was interested because I wanted to know more about the threat. Well I got it from the trailer, and now I don't want to watch it anymore

It's so weird. Prey dropped almost out of nowhere too.
It’s a residual effect of Disney acquiring Fox. Basically they’re trying to get around these pre-existing deals in place. Had these films been released in the theaters, MAX would’ve gotten first streaming rights after. But by releasing them on Hulu first they have a workaround in avoiding the competition getting first streaming rights. As soon as these legacy Fox films are all released you won’t see these types of releases anymore on Hulu.
This one does look very good and creepy . I wish 20th century studios was not owned by Disney. I wish it was its own company again.

This movie to me is a work of art. The fact that this film had such a low budget but it feels like a high budget. Relies on sharp , crisp sound design and world building. I can honestly say the sound design in this film is some of the best I’ve ever heard. The CGI is also top tier. They gave the aliens a bunch of cool features that I didn’t expect , without ever going over the top with it. The way that the aliens communicate with each other, and hearing it for the first time broke my mind in a good way. The movie never holds your hand and over explains things, in fact quite the opposite, which I love. I believe there is no true answer to the end of the film, and to me that is the beauty of it.
I never write reviews like this but this movie more than deserves it. Props to whoever greenlit this movie, PLEASE bless us with more like this.

This is an incredible film. So thrilled to have experienced it!! Phenomenal from every angle, brilliant filmmaking from Brian Duffield and a bravura performance from Kaitlyn Dever!
While I agree that this should definitely be in theaters too, the idea that this movie can be streamed in your own home while it being about home invasions (and, well, alien invasions too, of course) it’s kind of a perfect movie to watch on streaming for the aesthetic of it all
Didn't even cross my mind, but this is an absolutely brilliant take if it's what the creators intended!

@@Raiden4019While l agree that's an interesting thought, I seriously doubt when the director was putting their blood, sweat and tears into this, they were hoping it would be streaming on Hulu lol But 1 movie that seemingly DID have that in mind was Unfriended. It takes place entirely on someone's laptop, so it's best viewed while streaming on a laptop to really immerse you in it.

I love her in Dopesick and Unbelievable. I was surprised that she's brave enough to take some risky roles like that at her very young age. People tend to overhyped Zendaya a lot when Kaitlyn herself deserves many recognition too
This movie was actually great completely subverted my expectations it had beautiful cinematography and fantastic sound design for the aliens and spaceships etc loved it.

What I loved about this movie is the fact that no one talks, not a word! All the "dialogue" is done with the face gestures of this very talented and lovely actress. Her reactions are pretty much what I would feel if those things would happen to me. I really enjoyed watching this movie a few times, and I am sure in a year I will be watching it again; it has a different approach to alien invasions.

Oh... that was full of extremely great moments... done very very well. Those footsteps pounding faster to the door and it then slowly opening... the sound design in this is incredible. Just the brief, always blurred or obscured shots of the aliens... so good. Honestly, not seeing them clearly ever is what I hope this does... so much scarier.

@@Nueztoy We don't know that. We have no idea what order these clips really come in, or where in the movie they go. We don't know that she survives. There have been movies that have gone that route before. Few have the guts to do it, but this would be a great one for it. And there's still an awful lot we don't know.

Just watched this movie a few minutes ago, and I am telling you this is an awesome movie.
This has been the most original, satisfying sci-fi thrillers I've seen in years.
She's like a final girl but instead of trying to escape a slasher, it's aliens. That is actually pretty cool! Adding this to my movie watch list!

Just watched it. So freaking amazing. Especially we get a full shot of all the aliens and not just a 2 second glimpse of a horror movie. We actually see their movements and the way they communicate. I couldnt look away. We need more movies like this

Love, love this movie. I'm now going to show this to my teen daughter! No swearing, no sexual content, just amazing suspense and story! This should be screened in major cinemas out there! Kaitlyn Dever deserves accolades for her acting here. Just amazing movie.

The choice of very little dialogue in the movie was great. Gave the sense of how exiled, anxiety and alone the main character is. She’s not crazy, she doesn’t talk to her self

Just cuz she doesn't talk to herself doesn't mean she's not crazy. The mutism (avoiding any speech) can still be her way to cope with past trauma - not talking anything as coping mechanism to suppress memories of past (what you don't speak of becomes forgotten). Fueling her denial and illusions in order to cope with her reality while denying the true reality (true events that really happened). Still crazy.
I loved this film, was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Also no dialogue throughout, cleverly done.

I have just finished watching the movie... and it was truly an experience - start to end. It's indeed something like I've never seen before, and it breaks away from the traditional conventions. I wouldn't call it a horror movie, I'd say it's more of a thriller. What I loved about it is that it felt somehow deep and emotional. The ending was unexpected and a mixture of happiness combined with a lot of other feelings. It's personally a fav now and I def recommend it.
im currently an hour in and i have had some much fun, really shrilling, and the freaking sound deigns amazing. Great movie wo far filled with crazy creepy moments

yep movie are realy stuning and i was definitely amazed it was something wow but ending was a bit childish like in somme old clasic movies, like whole movie was super intens and ending was like from another old clasic comedy movie, idea was good but they needed to keep it some serious tone in the ending to.

I think that Brynn, after childhood trauma, escaped into psychosis and fell into mutism, exacerbated by social exclusion and loneliness. The claustrophobic setting (her home) is simply a psychiatric facility, and the strangers are medical staff trying to help her. The "parasite" attacking the mind that she swallowed and which made her feel better is simply a strong psychotropic drug.

Dumbest protagonist I have seen In a long time
Kaitlyn Dever has clearly moved on from her sitcom days and has thoroughly made herself known as a seriously talented performer. This role was not only unique but a daring role to take. The only one I can compare it to would be Daniel Radcliff jumping from Harry Potter to his more gritty roles of Guns Akimbo or Jungle. I will overlook the obvious tropes from past Scfi invasion movies such as Signs and The Faculty. This movies is worth the ending and Kaitlyn Devers stupendous performance.

Dude I've seen this movie, and im quite stunned by how abstract this concept is! Very amazing, not even a single word said by the main character and yet such a great show of a story combines with this dark horror tone. More of these kind of movies would be amazing!

Don't watch it, believe me, you will be disappointed. It has no meaning and the story is full of nonsense. And LGBT integrated too.
