Thanks. I think it’s a 6 x 12. Maybe 6 x 10. The two places I set up supply electric, I don’t do farmers markets but when I’m off site I use a contractors generator, I bought it new 10years ago for $250. Champion 4500 on Amazon but it’s loud.
Hey Jimmy , have you tried the Tormek Jap stone ? Around $400 and said to be 4000 grit . No way would I buy 1 , but would love to know how it compares .
Thanks for another amazing video! Can you tell me where you purchase your belts I need to get some ordered going to go to HF today and get the 1” belt sander and I just order the Dayton from Grainger. Also what brand is your flat hone? Sorry for all the newbie questions just trying to get things together to start practicing. Thanks again for all your help have a great day.
First off, thank you for this video. Been interested what you're working with for a while. I'm interested in your choice of belts. Could you get more specific as to why you go with ceramics 120&220 and finish on trizact 400? Like why not finish on ceramic 400 or why not start with trizact lower grit. I'm not questioning your methods at all just trying to better understand your choices. I've been sharpening for about 5 years now. Use 1x30s and Japanese whetstones. I've tried probably 20 different brands of belts and played with every grit imaginable. I use mostly trizacts now as i like the stiffness of the backing and the finish they leave. I found today though that they just don't remove material as fast as they should. Keep up the great work!
What is the size of your trailer and what were you using for a power supply throughout the market???
Beautiful setup man!
